Doctor Sachin Nataraj Oncologist Humanistic Inspires Confidence

It Is not often that one comes face to face with a six letter word, that threatens one’s Life despite advanced treatment being available .It drains your physical resources, breaks you down mentally and emotionally you become a wreck.
I faced this seven months ago.
It was Cancer.
Carcinoma .
My bladder was affected by it and it came to light accidentally and I am blessed to have doctors as my friends and students; Dr. Naveen,UK,Dr. Vasdevan Sonti,UK,Dr. Sandhya Banglore,Dr.Anil Chandra, Visakhapatnam, Dr. Srujan, Hyderabad
Dr.Naveen, on his visit to India never fails to visit me and that was how I had an inkling of what was to come.

Treatment?
Removal of Bladder, Prostate and lymph nodes in the Pelvic region. The Surgery took eleven and a half hours.I went in at 7 30 AM IST and was at ICU at 7 PM IST.
And my Age? 73 .

And that is what had set my mind set during those harrowing three months.
The Oncologist I am referring to is Doctor Sree Sachin Nataraj,who was referred to by Doctor Sree. Somasekhar,one of the most dedicated , eminently qualified pioneers in Oncology.Dr. Somasekhar performed surgery successfully for my close relative in 2009 and he recognised me immediately and assigned his team to take care of me with himself and Dr. Sachin as the Core, Nucleus of dedicated professionals.
I owe all of them my heartfelt gratitude and Pray my Ishta Devatha Abhirami to Bless them.
Special mention is to be made of Dr. Sachin Natraj , currently of Aster Hospital Group.
Despite being young, he has the patience of a seasoned practitioner in handling patients who are facing death at any second.
His humanistic approach, No non sense explanation of the disease, procedures being followed, medications to be taken and post surgery follow-up personally through WhatsApp despite his busy schedule…
Difficult to emulate.
I do not know how Doctor Dr. Sachin and Dr. Somasekhar find time for interacting with a single patient. I wonder if they spend any time with their families !
In this era of Make Money Anyway, gems like Doctors like Dr. Somasekhar and Sachin Nataraj are to be preserved and they are models for Young aspiring Doctors and Surgeons.
