There is a widespread belief among the Hindus, who style themselves as orthodox that some
Nakshatras ( stars ) are bad.
Many lives are made miserable by this irrational approach.
There seems to be no basis for this attitude.
Some Nakshatras like Moola, Jeyshta ,Poorvaashaada,
Aslesha are called as bad.
In the case of Moola girls do not get married as it is the belief that girls born in this Nakshatra would ruin the family they get married into.
Hanuman’s Nakshatra is Moola.
But it is considered that a male born in this Nakshatra would rule .(Aan Moolam Arasaalum, tamil)
And thise born under Bharani shall rule the world.
My father was born in Bharani and he was a teacher trying to meet both ends meet.
I was born in Chitra nakshatra and by the reckoning of the nakshatra saying My parents shold have been left to the street.
Both of them lived with me comfortably.
Nothing can be more stupid than this approach.
I am yet to see some one who could quote authentic source to corroborate this view.
They brush aside saying that ‘ elders say’
But which ‘elders’?
Nobody shall reply.
One is born into this world according to his Karma and One shall lead the Life as one deserves.
Stars do not play a role in this to the extent of ruining a family.
Lord Rama was born in Punarvasu Nakshatra.
Did he lead a carefree life?
He went to forest at a very young age, his wife kidnapped, ostracised his wife, was not with his wife when his children were born!
But Lord Krishna,
He had a carefree life.
His nakshatra was Rohini , considered inauspicious for Uncle( true for Kamsa)
The thithi He was born is Asthtami considered inauspicious.
People forget we celebrate Janmashtami and it is also the date when DEVI WAGED WAR in Asthtami and Rama conquered Ravana on Navami.
Just ignore these sort of misinformation about Hinduism by charlatans to make money by offering To solve by Parihara.
Let me conculde by a saying from the Tamul Sangam poem,
Neither Good nor bad accrue by others ,excepting by your actions.
‘ theetum nanrum pirar thara vaara’
