   Some stupid astrologer from India called Hardick, told me that since I was born under Moola Nakshatra it is very inauspicious and in India, in the olden days, if a girl was born under Moola star, she was buried alive and the father was not allowed to see her face until the Moola pooja had been conducted. He also told me that if any boy agrees to marry me, I should just say yes, without batting an eye lid, because if a boy has agreed to marry me, then it is very surprising and I should consider myself lucky that a boy is willing to marry me. I have never heard such nonsense in my life – such Indian astrologers should be banned from practicing astrology because they bring disgrace to the entire branch of Vedic Astrology – this person claimed to be a priest and an astrologer (aged only 23yrs) No person who believes in God and has a conscience, and considers astrology to be sacred, would ever tell any human being that their parents should have buried their daughter alive. I asked him, if the same applies to a boy born under Moola star – he said, no, it is an auspicious nakshatra for boys but not girls!!!! So basically if a girl is born under Moola, then she should be buried alive, but if it is a boy then, it is to be celebrated. When will Indian astrologers stop discriminating against the girl child??? I am waiting for the day, this person is blessed (or cursed) with a baby girl born under Moola star – then we will see if he buries her alive! Be warned people, avoid this astrologer who resides in Gujarat. I was forced to study astrology myself because what he told me, led to a depression. Now, having studied astrology and also after consulting another astrologer – I know it is not a curse to be born under Moola – Dalai Lama is also born under this nakshatra. So, my request to all Indian astrologers is to please not discriminate between girls and boys, because the planets don’t discriminate between them and whatever star or planets are in your chart – you were meant to be born under those planetary alignments to help you fulfill your soul purpose and according to past life karma. Indian astrologers should stop scaring people with fatalistic statements. Each and every one should make the most of their planets and use the energies positively.

   Jyothishya shashtra or Astrology is a very profound and deep science. I come from a family of Top notch Astrologers and have an experience of more than 40 yrs in this science.The Nakshatras Ashesha, Vishaka, Jyeshta and Moola are deemed peculiar. As rightly pointed, some Tamil sayings defining the stars are too far stretched and over simplified sweeping statements.

   Moola Nakshatra or Scorpii is the location where the Black Hole found in the Centre of our Galaxy namely The Milky Way Galaxy is situated. Hence it has a tremendous potential to suck into its Black hole any thing. This destructive / Constructive potential of this star is therefore given attributes. The Feminine attribute is that it makes any Female born in this star highly over bearing in attitude and attempting to wreak established norms. The Masciline attribute is the transformation which happens after matter gets sucked into a black hole, passes through WORM HOLE and re-emerges into another galaxy etc in another Universe. BUT ANY PERSON OF MOOLA NAKSHATRA WITH GOOD ASPECT OF JUPITER OR BAD ASPECT OF RAHU / SANI WILL OBVIOUSLY GIVE CONTRADICTORY GOOD OR BAD EFFECTS. ANY HOROSCOPE SHOULD NEVER BE INTERPRETED IN ISOLATION. IT HAS TO BE PROPERLY ANALYSED FOR VARIOUS ASPECTS AND THE FINAL VERDICT THEN GIVEN WILL BE ACCURATE. ASTROLOGY OR JYOTHISHYA SHASTRA PER SE IS VERY ACCURATE BUT THE ASTROLOGER WHO PREDICTS MAY BE WRONG SOMETIMES OR MOST OFTEN.

      So according to you, a female with an over bearing attitude and who attempts to break established norms (set by men) is a bad thing??? Which stone age do you come from??? Your thinking is so regressive and you sound like an M.C.P who feels that a woman should never be dominating or go against norms set by men as it is a threat to society. It is because there exist men with your regressive mentality in India, that India can never move forward and continues treating it’s women like second class citizens who have no say in anything. Please do women and humanity a favor and quit practicing astrology, you have no right to know this sacred knowledge, because you discriminate between men and women, while planets do not discriminate between men and women. I feel sorry for your daughter and wife!!!
