There is ample evidence that Lord Krishna existed.
We have a temple where Lord Krishna spent his childhood played with Balram.

It is the Nandgram, not Nandhigrama.

It is near Vrindavan.
“A few miles from Barsana is Nandagram, another place where Krishna performed many childhood pastimes described in the Bhagavatam. On top of the hill is the main temple that has Deities of Krishna, Balarama, Nanda Maharaja (Krishna’s father), Mother Yashoda, Srimati Radharani, and two of Krishna’s friends. There is also a Shiva lingam in a small shrine across from the temple called Nandisvara, which again is said to have been installed by Vajranabha many hundreds of years ago. It is considered that this hill is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. From the top of the walls that surround the temple we can get good views of the area, and someone who is familiar with it can point out other nearby places connected with Krishna’s pastimes that we may want to visit.(Stephen Knapp)
Nandgaon is located 12 km away from Kosi and is the place where Lord Krishna stayed during his childhood. Few things can be seen in the village regarding the childhood of Lord Krishna that find mention in the Granthas. It is believed that Lord Krishna along with Radha and other gopis performed raas leela on the banks of River Yamuna, flowing through the region.
Nandgaon, often called as Nandnagri, is the home of Lord Krishna’s foster father, Nand. The highest peak of the region, the Nandisvara hill, has a temple dedicated to Nand Baba. This temple was constructed by Roop Singh. The Temple of Narsingha, Nritya Gopal, Gopinath, Nand Nandan, Girdhari and Yasoda Nandan are also located on the way to the hill.
Nanda Bhavan, also known as the Nandgram temple, is another prominent attraction of the village. This temple has black marble idols of Lord Krishna and Balarama. Another section of the temple is enshrined with the deities of Nand parivar and Goddess Radharani.
The idols of the mother of Lord Balarama, Rohini and wife of Lord Balarama, Revati, can also be seen in this temple. The temple also has idols of Krishna’s two friends, Sudama and Madhumangala. The ceiling of the sanctum is adorned with various paintings depicting the life and different episodes of Krishna’s life.
New Delhi to Nandgram 29km.
