  • Why How Sanatana Dharma Spread Throughout The World

Evidence that the Sanatana Dharma had spread throughout th world raises two questions.

    Global Map Gondwana.jpg
Silurian Period: Earth during the early Silurian Period
Distribution of landmasses, mountainous regions, shallow seas, and deep ocean basins during the early Silurian Period. Included in the paleogeographic reconstruction are cold and warm ocean currents. The present-day coastlines and tectonic boundaries of the configured continents are shown in the inset at the lower right.

    1.Why did it spread?

    2.And how?

For the first the answer is that there are various factors.

    a)Sanatana Dharma was individual specific.

It addresses Human problems and tried to answer them from the experience of the Realized souls.

    b) It did not believe in numbers.

    c) It did not attempt to proselytize.

    d) It did not suggest ways that are contrary to Nature nor did it try to impose its rules.

    e) It did not curs people who refuse to follow it.For Hinduism, Sanatana Dharma all Paths lead to God, just as water from different sources reach the Ocean, be it a sewage or a River.

    f) It devised methods to suit individual temperament.

‘ In Whatever For You worship Me, I grant you your wish in that form” Sri Krishna in The Bagavad Gita.

    g) Though the Karma Theory suggests Determinism, it grants and accepts free will.In the closing chapter of the Bhagavad Gita Krishna says to Arjuna,

” I have explained you the secret of secrets and you are free to choose what you think is suitable for you”

h)Santana Dharma treated everything in the Universe as its own, including the Inanimate,

    The Shanthi Mantra states,

May The Two legged Be Happy,

    May The four-legged Be Happy,

    May there Be sufficient rains”

i ) Its motto is Let All Be happy’

    Sarve Janas Sukino Bhavanthu.

    j) It advocated social order with out laws, but by Social Mores.

    k) It allowed people to practice what they believed in, including Atheism, denial of God.

No doubt it had takers every where.

Answering the second question ‘How di it spread throughout the world’ is difficult.

Despite evidence that the Sanatana Dharma was present in all the countries, there seems to be no evidence to suggest the people of these countries were won over by military might and subjugated.

The worst thing the early Hindus in India was to fight among themselves in India and in some cases against the Kings in Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, that too only when these Kings interfered in the local Indian affairs.

Tamils invasion of these areas speak of this.

With the evidence available now I am forced to admit that the people of these areas embraced the Sanatana Dharma voluntarily, being coming to know of it from the emissaries sent by the Indian Kings starting From Rama.

This also raises an important question.

How come these people have traveled such great distances, while record speak of only Bullock carts and horses as means of transportation.

Simply brushing aside the evidence that The Sanatana Dharma did not exist in the areas like,

Baikal, Russia, Krishna’ son Pradhyumna’s city,

Lahore ,Pakistan was founde by Lava, Son of Lord Rama,

A South Korean princess was from Ayodhya,

    Archaim , Russia,

Russia as Sthree Varsha, Women Kingdom,

River Danube was names after Dhanu, the Mother of Devas,

Naradony Mountain, Narada Mountain in Russia,

    Nazca Lines resembling Shiva’s Trident,

Presence of Sri Chakra in America Mountain,

Mayan temples built as per the design of Hindu Temples,

    Angkorvat designed with Sri Chakra,

Sage Agastya worshiped in New Zealand Tribes,

    ……

I have posts on each of these with evidence.

The only alternative is that people could have traveled in a form of Transport of which we know very little

I am researching into this and shall share as soon as I get the evidence.

  • Narasimha In Ancient Cave Germany 38000 BCE Huns Sveta Hunas

I have written about the Celts being Brahmins and Danube comes from the word  Danu.

Danu is the daughter of Daksha Prajapathi, the Progenitor of Mankind.

She was married to Kashyapa and is the mother of the Danavas.”Though there are indications that the people of England, Celts did have a Sanatana Dharma connection, I have not been able to find a good research work till now on this subject.

    Now,

There is enough evidence that the priestly class of the ancestors,Druids, of the Celts were…. Brahmins.

And they performed the Vedic rituals.”

The Danavas’ descendants migrated from the South off India, to South Central Asia and Europe.

    They migrated in waves.

They were called the Sveta Hunas, from whom the word, the ancient Hun Tribe is arrived.

The Huns were the descendants of the Danavas.

They settled in what is  now known as Germany, Austria,Slovakia, Hungary,Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria,Romania, Moldova,Ukraine.

The River Danube is  named after their ancestor Danu.

    Not only this.

There is evidence of Vishnu in Germany in the form of a Lion Man image resembling Narasimha.

    This dates to 38.000 BCE!

Reminds you of Vishnu’s Narasimha Avatar, which took place  in the earlier Aeon.

There is an allusion to a Namuci story in RV.VIII 14.13:

With waters’ foam you tore off, Indra, the head of Namuci, subduing all contending hosts.

This short reference is believed to have culminated in the full puranic story of Narasiṁha.

    This is in  Hohlenstein Stade.

“One of the treasures of Prehistoric art from the period of Aurignacian art, theLion Man of Hohlenstein Stadel is an ivory carving of a lion-headed figure, and is recognized as the oldest known anthropomorphic animal carving in the world. It was discovered in a cave in Hohlenstein Mountain, located in the Swabian Jura of southwest Germany. Following carbon dating tests on earth in which this item of prehistoric sculpture was found, it has been dated to approximately 38,000 BCE, making it the earliest art of its type (male figure) in Europe. A number of other unique works of Stone Age art have been found in the locality, since excavations first began in the 1860s, including: (1) theVenus of Hohle Fels (38,000-33,000 BCE), the oldest of the Venus Figurinesand the oldest known figurative sculpture; (2) the earliest ivory carving of a mammoth – see Ivory Carvings of the Swabian Jura. The area is therefore an important centre of Paleolithic art and culture, and is likely to disclose further examples of Rock art in due course. After the discovery of the Lion Man, a similar, but smaller, lion-headed carving was unearthed in a nearby cave, together with other zoomorphic figures as well as several bone flutes. This has led archeologists to speculate that the lion-figure had a totemic role for the inhabitants of the early Upper Paleolithic. The original carving is now kept in the Ulmer Museum, Ulm, pending the establishment of a new museum of ancient art.”

  • Irish , ‘People(s) / Tribe(s) Of the Goddess Danu’

I have written articles on the migration of the Peoples of the world.

I have mentioned that whenever there was a surge of migration into Europe , there was a cataclysm. mostly , a Tsunami in India, then called Bharata Varsha

During one such Tsunami , Satyavrata Manu, also called as Vaivasvatha Manu, the ancestor of Lord Rama migrated to Ayodhya to found the Ikshvaku Dynasty.

    Ikshvaku was Manus son.

When we look into the history of the ancient Magyars, Bulgars, we shall find a migration coinciding with a natural calamity in India.

Please read my post on Human  Migration.

Shiva and his son Ganesha left through the Middle East, traversing through Europe the area now called as Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Africa,Americas before reaching the Arctic.

The Rig Veda was composed in the Arctic.

Then a group returned to India through Russia and Iran into India, in their wake leaving trail of their culture in Russia, where we find Arkaim , Hanuman Temple , the Legend of Kubera ,Sthree Kingdom and many more.

The group which went through the middle east and the places mentioned in the article too left their marks in their Journey.

One would find more of Shiva Ganesha artifacts in the regions they traveled.

One finds the Nazca Lines in Peru, Shiva temple in Petra Jordan,Shiva Linga in Mecca,Mount Meru in Tanzania, Tamil influence among the Incas, Sanatana Dharma ancestry of the Mayas.

One group , that of the Germanic tribe, played an important role in the formation of Europe.

The Origin of germanic tribe has been explained in my article on Danube, the River of Danu.

Danu is the primeval waters which this deity perhaps embodied.

    उत्तरा सूरधरः पुत्र आसीद दानुः शये सहवत्सा न धेनुः ||
uttarā sūradharaḥ putra āsīd dānuḥ śaye sahavatsā na dhenuḥ ||
The mother was above, the son was under and like a cow beside her calf lay Danu. 1.32.18 Rig Veda.

Danu was the Mother of Vrtra. who was killed by Indra, the Chief of the Devatas.

Danu was later described as the daughter of Daksha and wife Sage Kashyapa.

She is described as the Mother of the Danavas.

As a word for “rain” or “liquid”, dānu is compared to Avestan dānu “river”, and further to river names like Don, Danube, Dneiper, Dniestr, etc. There is also a Danu river in Nepal. The “liquid” word is mostly neuter, but appears as feminine in RV 1.54.

Now to the Celts and the Irish.

Irish Mythology states that they are ,

    Tuath(a) Dé Danan,

The Tuath(a) Dé Danann (usually translated as “people(s)/tribe(s) of the goddess Danu”), also known by the earlier name Tuath Dé (“tribe of the gods”),[1] are a race of supernaturally-gifted people in Irish mythology. They are thought to represent the main deities of pre-ChristianGaelic Ireland.

Tuath(a) Dé Danan descended from Nemed .

According to the tradition, he is the leader of the third group of people to settle inIreland, who are referred to as the Muintir Nemid (Muintir Neimhidh, “people of Nemed”), Clann Nemid (Clann Neimhidh, “offspring of Nemed”) or Nemedians. The name ‘Nemed’ itself means “privileged” or “holy”.[1]

Daksha Prajapathi, Kashyapa and Danu were described as Holy as the progenitors of the Human Race.

Dakasha is the Chief of Mankind.

Kashyapa was the father of devas, Asuras and Danavas.

Giving birth to Celtic culture, the sacred mother Danube river was named for the Celtic mother Goddess Danu. Danu is also the name of an early Hindu mother Goddess of primeval waters. The descendants of the Goddess Danu, in both Celtic and Hindu culture, are called Children of Danu.
