I have posted articles on the existence of Hinduism, Sanatana Dharma in Mesopotamia,including the Arabian Peninsula.
These articles were about the Kaaba, Mecca being a Hindu place of worship and there is a Shiva Linga;King Vikramadhitya’s Inscription is found there.
I shall be posting a detailed article on the History of Kaaba.
In the meanwhile, I would like to share a Poem, Stuthi on Lord Shiva by Umar-Bin-E-Hassham, an Uncle of Prophet Muhammad.
Muhammad’s uncle was one of the resident priests of the Shiv temple known as “Kaaba”.
Prophet Muhammad’s uncle (Chacha) Umar-bin-e-Hassham (also known as Abu Hakam or Abu Jahl) was a renowned poet whose famous Arabic poem in praise of Lord Shiva, included in Sair-ul-Okul and cited on a column in the (fire worship pavilion in the rear garden of the) Lakshmi Narayan Temple in New Delhi

The man who may spend his life in sin
and irreligion or waste it in lechery and wrath
If at least he relent and return to
righteousness can he be saved?
If but once he worship Mahadeva with a pure
heart, he will attain the ultimate in spirituality.
Oh Lord Shiva exchange my entire life for but
a day’s sojourn in India where one attains salvation.
But one pilgrimage there secures for one all
merit and company of the truly great.
King Vikramadithya’s Kingdom extended to Mesopotamia and included the present day Saudi Arabia.
‘Evidence is now available that the whole of Arabia was part of the great Indian King Vikramaditya’s vast empire. The extent of Vikramaditya’s empire is one of the main reasons for his world-wide fame. Incidentally this also explains many intriguing features about Arabia. It could be that Vikramaditya himself had this peninsula named Arvasthan if he was the first Indian monarch to capture it and bring it under his sway…
Its central pilgrim centre, Mecca is also a Sanskrit name. Makha in Sanskrit signifies a sacrificial fire. Since Vedic fire worship was prevalent all over West Asia in pre-Islamic days Makha signifies the place which had an important shrine of fire worship.
Coinciding with the annual pilgrimage of huge bazaar used to spring up in Makha i.e. Mecca since times immemorial. The annual pilgrimage of Muslims to Mecca is not at all an innovation but a continuation of the ancient pilgrimage. This fact is mentioned in encyclopedias.

‘A reference to king Vikramaditya comes in an inscription found in the Kaaba in Mecca .
The text of the inscription, supposedly found inscribed on a gold dish hung inside the Kaaba shrine, is said to have recorded in a volume known as Sayar-ul-Okul (meaning, memorable words) treasured in the Makhtab-e-Sultania library in Istanbul, Turkey.
“Fortunate are those who were born (and lived) during king Vikram’s reign. He was a noble, generous dutiful ruler, devoted to the welfare of his subjects. But at that time we Arabs, oblivious of God, were lost in sensual pleasures. Plotting and torture were rampant. The darkness of ignorance had enveloped our country. Like the lamb struggling for her life in the cruel paws of a wolf we Arabs were caught up in ignorance. The entire country was enveloped in a darkness so intense as on a new moon night. But the present dawn and pleasant sunshine of education is the result of the favour of the noble king Vikramaditya whose benevolent supervision did not lose sight of us–foreigners as we were. He spread his sacred religion amongst us and sent scholars whose brilliance shone like that of the sun from his country to ours. These scholars and preceptors through whose benevolence we were once again made cognisant of the presence of God, introduced to His sacred existence and put on the road of Truth, had come to our country to preach their religion and impart education at king Vikramaditya’s behest.”

Following are the Arabic wording of the inscription reproduced in Roman script:

Rendered in free English the inscription reads as follows:

However, the book (from which the above quotation comes) remains a controversial issue, with some Muslim communities having a skeptical view about the existence of the book. Which makes it uncertain if the so-called golden dish was present inside or associated with the shrine (in its modern sense) as claimed. It may be noted though that the era of Vikramaditya, if placed in the 1st Century BC, makes him predate the origins of Islam by a few centuries, and hence, there may not be any direct association between the king and Islam.’
My answer to the italicized portion is that Vikramadhitya was originally called Chandragupta II .
If Vikramadhitya’s date is 1 BC,it is possible what is mentioned in the Kaaba does not refer to Vikramadhitya, but could refer to his descendants,who could have been named after him, as the original Vikramadhitya was named after His father.

n the west the other bank of the Sindhu River; in the South the Setu; Badarinarayana in the Himalayas formed the North limit and the city of Kapilavastu, the boundary in the East. These were the limits of Vikramaditya’s Empire.
Another sloka states,
“By the grace and command of Siva, Gandharvasena’s son, Vikramaditya reigned as Emperor, for hundred years. His son “Devabhakta” after ruling for ten years, was killed in a battle by the cruel Sakas.”(Kali 3130 or 29 A.D.)..”
Second point is that there are no historical proof for the existence of the Prophet.
Mitanni (/mɪˈtæni/; Hittite cuneiform KUR URUMi-ta-an-ni; also MittaniMi-it-ta-ni) or Hanigalbat (Assyrian Hanigalbat, Khanigalbatcuneiform Ḫa-ni-gal-bat) or Naharin in ancient Egyptian texts was a Hurrian-speaking state in northern Syria and southeast Anatoliafrom ca. 1500 BC–1300 BC. Founded by an Indo-Aryan ruling class governing a predominantly Hurrian population, Mitanni came to be a regional power after the Hittite destruction of Amorite[1] Babylon and a series of ineffectual Assyrian kings created a power vacuum in Mesopotamia.
The Mittanni was in northern Mesopotamia , roughly from 1500-1300 BC.
At its height the empire extended from Kirkuk (ancient Arrapha) and the Zagros Mountains in the east through Assyria to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.
Mittani Kings, but the Egyptian Pharaohs have also have been known to have a major Indic influence.

The Sun King Akhenaten of Egypt who ruled between 1352-1336 BC was a son-in-law of Tushratta, the Mitanni king. The name Tushratta has been recorded in the Hittite cuneiform script.

Some have suggested that the Sanskrit origin of Tushratta is Dasaratha, a few others that it is Tvesaratha (having splendid chariots), a name which is attested in the Rigveda.
Mittani Empire.
“The first Mitanni king was Sutarna I (good sun). He was followed by Baratarna I (or Paratarna great sun), Parasuksatra(ruler with axe),…. Saustatar (Sauksatra, son of Suksatra, the good ruler), Artadama (abiding in cosmic law)..Tushratta (Dasaratha), and finally Matiwazza (Mativaja, whose wealth is thought) during whose lifetime the Mitanni state appears to have become a vassal to Assyria”. Subhash Kak traces the ‘arna’ syllable in the names of the kings to ‘araNi’ (अरणि) meaning ‘sun’…

‘ “A number of Indo-European sounding words have been identified in the cuneiform documents of the Mitanni kingdom (1500-1200 BC). In addition to nouns and adjectives with parallels in Sanskrit this Hurrian speaking kingdom had kings with Indo-Aryan names and two documents even list the main Gods of the Indian pantheon….”
What Air can not purify Water can, what Water and Air can not, Fire shall.
It is the Ultimate purifier.
The warmth in mother’s womb sustains the child and the same Fire destroys the Human body.
Fire is both the Sutainer and Destroyer.
So is Lord Shiva.
He is the cause of All and the withdrawer of the Universe.
The Distinction between Shiva and Rudra is to be understood.
The meaning of the word Shiva is ‘Auspiciousness’
He is the Chief among the Trinity.
His Amsa,one of His manifestaions, is Rudra.
He is one of the Ganas of Shiva.
He destroys the Universe only to be hidden by Shiva to enable them to manifest them later.
While Shiva has three attributes or functions, Srushti(Creation,) Sthithi( Sustanance),Samhaara(Dissolution), Thirodhaana(Hiding) and Anugraham( Blessings)
Rudra represents one aspect of Shiva, Destruction and this is eveident from the first sentence from the Sri Rudram.
Om Namao Bhagavathe Rudraaya,
Namsthe Rudramanyave’
My prostrations to Rudra,
My prostraions to His anger”
Implied is the fact that anger leads to desruction.
Now to Shiva.
Being the Ultimate Reality Shiva is with out Attributes.
However attribute is rewuired for Human Beings to connect and worship as concentraing ona vacuum is impossible .
So Fire has been associated with Shiva, both for its sustaning qualities and for destrution.
Twelve Jyotir Lingas , Puranas.
Brahma (the God of creation) and Vishnu (the God of Preservation) had an argument over supremacy of creation. To test them, Shiva pierced the three worlds as a huge endless pillar of light, the jyotirlinga. Vishnu and Brahma split their ways to downwards and upwards respectively to find the end of the light in either directions. Brahma lied that he found out the end, while Vishnu conceded his defeat. Shiva appeared as a second pillar of light and cursed Brahma that he would have no place in ceremonies while Vishnu would be worshipped till the end of eternity. The jyotirlinga is the supreme partless reality, out of which Shiva partly appears. The jyothirlinga shrines thus are places where Shiva appeared as a fiery column of light.[2][3] Originally there were believed to be 64 jyothirlingas while 12 of them are considered to be very auspicious and holy.[1] Each of the twelve jyothirlinga sites take the name of the presiding deity, each considered a different manifestation of Shiva. At all these sites, the primary image is lingam representing the beginningless and endless Stambha pillar, symbolizing the infinite nature of Shiva. The twelve jyothirlinga are Somnath in Gujarat, Mallikarjuna atSrisailam in Andra Pradesh, Mahakaleswar at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh, Kedarnath inHimalayas, Bhimashankar in Maharashtra, Viswanath at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Triambakeshwar in Maharashtra, Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga at Deogarh in Jharkhand , Aundha Nagnath at Aundha Nagnath in Maharashtra, Rameshwar at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu and Grishneshwar at Ellora near Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Kedarnath and Pashupatinath (Nepal) are considered half jyotirlingas counted together as one. -Shiva Purana

One who recites these 12 names regularly in the morning and evening he washes all the sins committed in the previous 7 births and attains all the powers and Siddhis.
After the Mahabharata War, the Yadava Clan was very nearly destroyed and a Group left Bharatavarsha,now called India .
They spread throughout the world and in the words of Gene D. Matlock,
“Even ancient Hindu mythology states that the forefathers of the Hindus came down in successive waves from Eastern Siberia (Uttara Kuru). Even now, the major tribes in Eastern Siberia bear virtually the same names as the three major grass-roots Indian groups: Saka, Buryat, and Yakuts. In India, they became the Saka (Scythians), Bharats, and Yakhu-Deva (Now the Yadavas). The Yadavas later became the Hebrews or the Phoenicians and Jews, fathering the civilizations of all mankind. As you’ve read in some E-Mails I’ve received, some people hate me for saying that.
The Bharats were the Kashi or founding leadership caste of India. The Sakas (Scythians) became the fathers of Guatama Buddha and also the Mesheks that the Bible talks about. These Mesheks became our American Indians because the Bharats and Yadavas feared them as did our forefathers in Bibleland. By the way, DNA tests proved that these Siberian groups and the Hindus of Northern India share the same DNA. I have even more proof of these matters in my files and references.’
There were inroads made already into the East and the Kingdom was called the Uttara Kuru.

Uttara Kuru was an ancient kingdom located north of the India. The name Uttara Kuru means the Northern Kurus. The Kurus were a tribe during the Vedic civilization of India. The Uttara Kuru were therefore a population to the north of the Kurus, or north of the Himalayas.
Some historians identify this kingdom as Kyrgistan, a Central Asian Republic. This identification is based on the Mahabharata epic which describes a Kuru warrior Bhishmaabducting three brides from the Kasi kingdom for making them wives of his half-brother Vichitravirya. This same custom of abduction of brides by bridgegroom or his allies for marrying them, still prevails in Kyrgistan. At some point during the reign of Pururavas-Aila (the first king mentioned in the line of lunar dynasty of Indian kings) Uttara Kuru and the Kurus of India could have belonged to the same Kuru Empire. Arjuna collected tribute from Uttara Kuru during his northern military campaign for Yudhisthira’s Rajasuya sacrifice. The epics also mention that they followed a republican constitution with no monarchy.’
Krishna’s son Pradhyumna established a Kingdom in Siberia.
It is believed that a Palace built by him is in Por Bajin.

‘Por-Bajin is legally treated as one of the most mysterious archaeological monuments of Russia,’ says the official website for the complex, about 3,800km from Moscow.
‘Apparently it was built at the period of the Uighur Khagante nomadic empire (744-840 AD), but it’s not clear what they built a fortress for in such a solitary place, far from big settlements and trade routes. ‘The architecture also produces many questions and it has reminders of a model of an ideal Chinese city-palace.’
Por-Bajin, which translates as ‘clay house’ in the Tuvan language, is located in the very centre of Eurasia, on the borders of Russia and Mongolia. It sits on a small island in a lake high in the mountains between the Sayan and Altai ranges, about five miles west of the isolated Kungurtuk settlement in southern Siberia…

‘Bajrapur is mentioned as Vajrapur in the Harivamsa Purana. The story of Vajrapur was revealed by the ruler of Jaiselmer in the 1790s to Lt. Col. James Tod, Political Agent of the East India Company, who was researching the Rajput tribes of India which included the Yadhu tribe, of which Sri Krishna and his son Pradyamna are the most well known.
The ruins of the City of Por Bajin located in Siberia bears an uncanny resemblance to the design of Dwarka City, which was the city that Sri Krishna had built earlier.
The Harivamsa Purana describes the conquest of Vajrapuram in the Vishnu Paran section. It says that an a city was built by ‘builder’ Nikumba for King Vajranabha with the name Vajrapuram (later Bajra Pur). The city was an ‘Asura’ city in a far off land.
In his work ‘The Goose in Indian Literature and Art’ (Volume 2 of Memoirs of the Kern Institute), author Jean Philippe Vogel writes that the ancient Vajrapura was surrounded by a huge lake. Por Bajin, as it is called today, is surrounded by a lake called ‘Tere Kol. ‘Kul’ (कूल) in Sanskrit means ‘lake’, ‘pond’ or ‘pool’. Or else, ‘Tere Kol’ may be a distortion of ‘Tri-Kut’ (त्रिकूट) meaning ‘Three Peaks or Ranges’ which maybe a reference to the surrounding Altay, Sayan and Tochi Mountain Ranges.

As per various ancient Indian sources, Sri Krishna’s son Pradyamna is known to have extended the Yadhu Empire north of what is present day India. He had attacked the city of Vajrapura and defeated King Vajranabha. Later a truce was called and Pradyamna married the king’s daughter Prabhavati. The poetic versions of this war say that Pradyumna is transported by geese to a land far far away.
Siberia -‘the beautiful land’. Siberia translates as ‘the beautiful land’ from Sanskrit. In Sanskrit ‘Su’ (सु) means ‘good’ or ‘beautiful’ and ‘Pura’ (पुरा), ‘Puri’ (पुरी) or ‘puram’ (पुरम) all mean ‘land’ or ‘city’. It may well have been the beauty of the land, rather than of a woman, that attracted the Yadus to Siberia.
