11 Lamps Lit On Ravana’s Head Maheswar

Furious Ravana picked up a fight with Karthaviryarjuna.

Ravana was defeated.

The mighty Sahasrarjuna with the 1000 arms pinned Ravana to the ground. Then he placed 10 lamps on his heads and one on his hand. After tying up Ravana, Sahasrarjuna dragged him home and tied him up to the cradle pole of his son. A humiliated Ravana stayed prisoner until his release was secured.

Even today, the Sahasrarjun temple at Maheshwar lights 11 lamps in memory of the event.

Iyers Ayyangars No Sanction Vedas Smriti

They can be used for Abhichaara Prayoga by vested interests.

Abhivadanama is for elders of the same community and Brahmins and only those who can Bless you with Veda Swasthi Mantra(Blessings from the Veda)

As far as I could check the terms Iyers, Ayyangars seem to have evolved during the middle ages, some say during Ramanuja's period, though there seems to be no solid evidence on this.

There terms were formulated to build an Endemic group by some.

Unfortunately this is being practiced to-day to divide Hindu Brahmins ans Iyers ans Ayyangars, North Indian Brahmin and a South Indian Brahmin.

These have no sanction of the Vedas nor the Smriti.
