Mantra Sloka For Relieving Confused Mind Decision Making

sMany of us find ourselves in a confused state of Mind, not knowing what exactly we want or what we are suffering from.

I have received quite a few mails in the past few days, highlighting this, seeking relief.

This state is characterized by self-doubt, low self-esteem,fear of future, worrying about others comments, diffidence, concern about health, Relationships…….

First thing one has to bear in mind is that the Mind is what we make of it.

Churchill Quote On Success and Failure.jpg. Churchill Quote On Success and Failure.

Mind is simply a mechanism to receive inputs and it can not decide.

When one gets a knocking, be it a loss of job, loss of a beloved, ridicule, the ind immediately jumps to the wost possible scenario and recollects only the ba times one has undergone and not the pleasant times.

At such moments one has to remain stead fas by not allowing the mind to dwell on misfortune.

Mind is of a lower order than Intellect and it is the Intellect that should guide us and not the Mind.

Indian Philosophy calls the Intellect as Buddhi, the ability to discriminate from what is good, bad, correct, incorrect.

So one has to be aware of this.

To begin with one should surround oneself with those who have a positive frame of Mind and have a Happy-go-lucky attitude to Life.

Never allow anyone who is a whiner near you.

And do not try to find the reason for the misfortune now, the time for it is later.

If you have a drinking habit, get rid of it.

    Have a Balanced food.

    Do not bother about criticisms.

If one were live by what others say, One can never live.

The world will talk ill of you irrespective of the fact whether you are well off or otherwise.

And do not try to think too much about Life and problems.

Think positively and take the net step boldly(what you think is right/correct)

To reinforce this attitudes and provide mental strength to weather any mental problem I am providing the following Mantras.

** Those who do not have the time may recite these 18 times a Day.

And chant the Sankalpa Suktha twice a day for better decision making.

    Sankalpa means, Right Determination.

The power of determination and auto suggestion play a vital part in ensuring the success of any endeavour.

Though there are various factors determining the results of any action, the individual plays a vital part.

The effort of the individual is not to be assailed by self-doubt or negative thoughts on the performance or the result that may accrue.

The Dhruda or strong determination is required.

If the Determination is Right favourable results will ensue.

The Vedas have a Sukta devoted to this aspect, called Sankalpa Suktha

I am providing some Mantras for  relief from mental disturbances, including Schizophrenia,Alzheimer’s,Deep depression,Melancholia, Cancer,Life threatening diseases and Possession from evil spirits.

Some might wonder why I have included possession by Evil Spirits in this category.

The answer is I have experienced this personally.

While none could cure it, including famous psychiatrists, these Mantras have cured.

I have discussed this issue with many psychiatrists and Neuro Physicians.

Their answer is’ I do not know’

Recite any of these Mantras for 45 Days, 18 times a day, begin on the sixth day of the waxing Moon, Sukla Paksha, early in the morning, Naivedya, Sakkarai Pongal.

On the day of completion feed a poor man or woman and if you can afford give them Clothes.

Cash offering is to be avoided.

Make sure you give out to those who are in need of these.

Do not inform people that you are reciting this Mantra.

Relatives of those who are afflicted may perform this.

  • Happiness Success And You

Success and Happiness are two different things.

    A child enjoys
    Happy Child

Those who are successful need not be happy and the Happy need not be successful.
Success is measured by the others or our conception of what others consider us to be a Success.
We think we are happy with success because we hear people talking about our ‘Success”

But not all say you are successful in an endeavor, profession.

Some deride because of it if not brushing it aside.

One feels Happy when one hears talk about one’s success and becomes depressed when some one ignores it .

And we set ourselves a Goal in Life, in the present days,at success in what is being perceived by the others as Success.

If some group says you are a Success when  you get a five figure Income, own a house, Beautiful wife, become CEO of a Company, Star or a Public personality.

Till some one comes out with another formula.

All these are subject to change as perceptions of people starts changing on things and issues.

There used to be a time in India, that getting B.Com Degree, secure a Bank employment you are a success.

    Then came MBA.

Now it is B.E. in Computers and an IT Job.

You were a success if you ha a two-wheeler.

    Now a Car!

As values change s is your success target.

And our own definition of Success changes from one point if time to another.

As against t this, Happiness does not require the others.

    Look at a toddler.

Its smile of Happiness captivates you, so natural

    Why?

Because a Child knows to be Happy with itself.

You set it for your self.

Once set, it does not generally change.

Here your happiness does not get affected or change because of the changing perception of you by the others.

    You are within You.

    You are contented.

Ultimately you are always Alone( not lonely)

    You are with you.

Unfortunately we spend the least time with ourselves, never pause to ask what we want to be happy.

    Check.

Yuu would find that it needs only You and nothing else.

  • Desire Avarice Jealousy Lifestyle.

    I am hurt.

    Mad rush for things.
    Consumerism.Image Credit. http://philebersole.wordpress.com/2013/03/30/consumerism/

    I am unhappy.

These are the most heard from people.

This is also reported  to be cause of Stress.

People  attribute this to the changed Lifestyle and a host of other factors, like work pressure, peer Pressure.

But there are more fundamental issues involved.

    One is regarding our-self.

Another is how we behave with others.

Regarding the first point, our attitude of Comparing ourselves starts in childhood.

Parents would like children to be what they have failed to be and force them into doing what they may not prefer.

Parents compare their children with other children and force the children.

Then comes the way of behaving.

They are taught what the others follow and this even in matters of Food and dressing.

There is a fine line between good behaviour and aping others, especially the West.

    Then Education.

We study what guarantees high income, without bothering whether one has the aptitude or attitude for it.

    Lifestyle again.

We acquire , not things we need, but what we think others will be envious about.

    That’s the point.

We allow ourselves to be conditioned by the others.

    Why?

Because we want to be what they are.

Bottom line of this, we are jealous of them.

But this remains hidden in our heart.

Jealousy, trying to become what we are not and our striving t be like them is the cause for our ills.

This is what we should avoid.

Closely connected to this is our desire , avarice.

We fail to distinguish between Wants and Needs.

Blind desire blurs the line between the two.

    Desires are fine.

We should be able to channelized desires, not allow desires to direct our lives, or Desire is impulsive and does not envisage the future problems arising out of satisfying the desires.

If we can avoid Jealousy and Desire, avarice, quality of our Lives would improve.

    • Early intervention and early use of new medications lead to better medical outcomes for the individual
    • The earlier someone with schizophrenia is diagnosed and stabilized on treatment, the better the long-term prognosis for their illness
    • Teen suicide is a growing problem — and teens with schizophrenia have approximately a 50% risk of attempted suicide
    • In rare instances, children as young as five can develop schizophrenia.

Anti-psychotic medications are the generally recommended treatment for schizophrenia. If medication for schizophrenia is discontinued, the relapse rate is about 80 percent within 2 years. With continued drug treatment, only about 40 percent of recovered patients will suffer relapses.( Source: NIMH)

Wide variation occurs in the course of schizophrenia. Some people have psychotic episodes of illness lasting weeks or months with full remission of their symptoms between each episode; others have a fluctuating course in which symptoms are continuous but rise and fall in intensity; others have relatively little variation in the symptoms of their illness over time. At one end of the spectrum, the person has a single psychotic episode of schizophrenia followed by complete recovery; at the other end of the spectrum is a course in which the illness never abates and debilitating effects increase. (source: Openthedoors). Recent research increasingly shows that the disease process of schizophrenia gradually and significantly damages the brain of the person, and that earlier treatments (medications and other therapies) seem to result in less damage over time.
