Adults complaining of headache were compared with others of the same age and sex who had problems other than headache. All 200 were screened for depression. Of those who had headache, 32 per cent were likely to have depression, compared with 12 per cent of those without headache, the authors say in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine.
