79* 41 Longitude Chidambaram Kanchi Kalahasti Three Elements Temple

The temple for water is in Thiruvanaikaval, fire is in Thiruvannamalai , air is in Kalahasti , earth is in Kanchipuram and The temple for space/sky is in Chidambaram.

Earth is nestled between Sky/Ether/Space, Aakasa( Chidambaram) and Air,Vayu(Kalahasti).

Earth is surrounded by Space and Air.

One thing is for sure.

Hinduism/ Indian philosophy not for the weakhearted!

As I was researching for information on Chidambrama Nataraja Temple, I found some information that was astounding.

Chidambaram Nataraja.

These three Pancha Bhuta(Five elements, Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether) fall in a straight Line at 79 degree 41 minutes East longitude.

I do not take things for granted and I checked with Google Maps.

I called for a search with the search term ’79 degrees 41 minutes Longitude’ in Google(India) Maps India.

The result is reproduced below.

Kanchipuram Ekambareswara Temple and Kalahasti Shiva temple fall in the same Longitude in a Straight Line.

Aakasaath Vayuhu ,Vayor Agni, Agniyor Aapaha, Aapaprithivi.

From Space, Air, Fire from Air, Water from Fire,Earth from water.

I shall be writing on the scientific progression involved in this.

Tiruvanaikkaval is located at around 3  degrees to the south and exactly 1 degree to the west of the northern  tip of this divine axis, while Tiruvannamalai is around midway (1.5  degree to the south and 0.5 degree to the west).

Fire and Water are not kept together to facilitate  Evolution.

I shall be writing in detail about each of these Mystic and scientific Temples.

  1. Hi Ramanan

Check this blog. I hope you know tamil. There are lots of information about Shiva temples.

      • No problem! Hope you find more information about sacred geomentry especially about our Indian Temples. In every our customs there are reasons behind it. People merely changed into lots of things “abasagunam” etc.

        1. The turmeric 3 lines on vasagal is keep away anti bacterail things. In olden days, people apply turmeric and walk as it preventing bacterial disease.

        2. Going temple and take a bath in that River, sea or any water source is mainly each place water has different minerals.Especaily Sea has different mineral which can absorb by skin. Hence it was the custom. We need these mineral only small amount. As skin is big area it can absorb more.

        3. Having vilakku, arathi is to destroy bacteria in the air in the temple. As lots of people gathering it is necessary to reduce disease spread by air. Continous vilakku and AArathi was doing that. Here in my son’s school practical they do this before culture bactria in agar dish.

        4. Having Verrilai helps for diegestion. SO it was given after meal. You don’t need sunnambu. Just try verrilai when you feel bloated tummy.

Deepavali is about fire works and it is in most of the country in different form. I live in UK. Here same time guy fox day and that day children fire fireworks.

We have navarathiri. Western countries has “Halloween”. Both occassion children dressed up. We give sundal. Here they get sweets.

Our culture has spolied as unnecessary “trading ” has come in our hinduism. In addition, present culture just chasing money and forget about moral and responsibilities. When every one of us understand and do our duties and take responsibility to our action then that is our Hinduism. Thats what it simply mentioned in Bhagavagita.

Sorry just few of my thoughts and as I am typing very fast due to lack of time, there may be mistakes.

        Regards

      • Yes. I am going through it. I am keeping the comment pending so that I can trace it for my reference. Regards

  2. Hi,

When I read your blog I thought I share the following information:

Shiva’s temples denotes our body parts. The Sthalangal points that:

    Thirukkayilai (Kailash) – (Head)

    Thirukkedharam (kedarnath) – (Forehead)

    Kasi – (Eyebrow)

    Thriyambakam (triambekeshwar) – (Eye)

    ThiruKalasthiri -(Throat)

    Omkaram (omkareswar) – (Right Hand)

    Beemasankaram (Beemshankar)- (Left Hand)

    Ujjaini – (Chest)

    Chidhambaram –
    (Heart)

    Thiruvanamalai -(stomach)

    Thiruvanaikaval -(kidney)

    Thiruvaroor -(mooladharam)
When I read your post I tried few more places latitude:

Lord Siva Temples in India on almost same Longitude

    Kedarnath – Kedarnath Temple (30.7352° N, 79.0669)
Kaleshwaram – Kaleshwara Mukteeshwara swamy Temple (18.8110, 79.9067)
    Srikalahati – Srikalahasti Temple (13.749802, 79.698410)
    Kanchipuram – Ekambareswarar Temple (12.847604, 79.699798)
    Thiruvanaikaval – Jambukeswara Temple (10.853383, 78.705455)

    Thirukuvalai Temple (10.63.21, 79.72)

Maybe other SHiva temples too! Not sure! There are books about sacred geometry. It seems Vastu is based on this geometry. All these are calculated sacred geometry. Noyt just our temple buildings but all over the world, buildings follow some kind of sacred geometry it seems. Hope this helps for your research.

    Kind Regards
    Valli

Good ancient knowledge, there is so much to learn yet from Hinduism.
