Best Brahmin Subrahmanya Gayatri Maha Mantras

Based on the functionality of the Trinity of Indian Pantheon, Lord Siva is a Brahmin, Vishnu a Kshatriya because He has Kshama , He sustains and

protects.

 

Subramanya, called as Muruga in Tamil (means Sublime Beauty)Kaarthikeya is mentioned in the Vedas as Skanda.

 

Even the most important God of Hinduism,Ganesha, is referred to as the Elder brother of Skanda,

 

‘Skanda Poorvaja: ‘

 

Lord Subrahmanya is the best among Brahmins because he explained the Pranava to His father Shiva.

 

Hence he is  called as Su-Brhamanya, best among Brahmins, among those who realized the Brahman.

Subramanya Upasna is recognised by Shankaracharya and he has established the Worship of Subramanya as Kaumaaram.
