Unless specifically asked for Do not attach your Photo.
Do not mention your your Hobbies/Interests unsolicited.
Avoid Spelling mistakes,this will indicate either you are ignorant or slipshod.
Avoid posting your height,weight,native place-At times these will prejudice your chances.
Do not provide References unless asked for and if you are providing ensure that the Referrer has a few good thing to says about you.
Do not refer to relatives or employees of the organisation to which you have applied unless specifically asked for.
Pay attention to details in your Resume like Qualification,Experience,job content,proficiency in skills.
Do not provide false information.
In short, do not volunteer information.
Do not write ‘I am aspiring to be a part of the team that is going places and in the process would like to develop my skills’
This is inane as you do not know the Company personally and HR Managers know what you are writing is completely insincere.
Remember you are not begging, you are providing n opportunity for the Employer to hire a good hand to enable him to earn more.
So never be defensive and at the same time never be arrogant.
