Till about a decade back we had Purchase,Administration,Sales and Accounts in a Sales Organisation. In the case of a Manufacturing Unit,Despatch/Loading,Production and Inventory were added. Now for selling a Product, we have Marketing,Sales Front office,Back office,Brand Management,Product Management,Advertising,Customer Care,HR, Administration,Accounts,Warehousing,Logistics …..endless.…
In short, do not volunteer information.
Do not write 'I am aspiring to be a part of the team that is going places and in the process would like to develop my skills'
This is inane as you do not know the Company personally and HR Managers know what you are writing is completely insincere.
Remember you are not begging, you are providing n opportunity for the Employer to hire a good hand to enable him to earn more.
So never be defensive and at the same time never be arrogant.
