Dwaraka, the lost city, mentioned in the Mahabharata is gradually emerging from the ocean, newly discovered in the Arabian Sea along the coasts of Gujarat, and dated between 3000 and 1500 BC This confirms both the antiquity of the Mahabharata and Ramayana as well as the historical truth of the work. After the end of avatar Krishna on earth the powerful dark age of Kali Yuga descents. The ocean swelled and flooded the entire Dwaraka. According to Vishnu Purana – Dwakara was submerged by the ocean just after the Avatar of Lord Krishna. In the early eighties an important archaeological site was found in India, at Dwaraka, the site of the legendary city of Lord Krishna. Now, it was discovered that the entire west coast of India sank about 40 feet around 1500 BC.
