Dwaraka, the lost city, mentioned in the Mahabharata is gradually emerging from the ocean, newly discovered in the Arabian Sea along the coasts of Gujarat, and dated between 3000 and 1500 BC This confirms both the antiquity of the Mahabharata and Ramayana as well as the historical truth of the work.
