Indian Sarees are worn in different styles in different parts of India,
However, in South India, Brahmin women use a special wrapping of the Saree, called Madisar.
This is worn for Religious Occasions and is generally worn by women of pious attitude at all times.
There are two types of wraparound, one the Iyer Type, and another Iengar.
The essential difference between the two is the top portion of the wrap around differs from one another.
While Iyers have the top portion of the Saree over the Right shoulder and Iengars over the left shoulder.
