I have been following the Aarushi, Hemraj Murder case ever since it was reported.
From day one, I have been maintaining that the Talwars are guilty and had posted several blogs on this and a special post on how Tehelka was used by a journalist to cast doubt on the Court to create a sympathy wave for the Talwars.
Some of my readers have asked me that they have been following my posts on this case and wanted a Time line of this case.

What we all saw during the trial was errors and irregularities, enough for any critically thinking citizen to question the investigation and court proceedings. There is no motive proven, no physical evidence and no unbroken chain of circumstantial evidence. There was however evidence tampered with – vaginal swabs lost, evidence seals on boxes broken. There were expert witnesses who were found to be wrong (BK Mahapatra), or not credible (Naresh Raj), there was a post mortem doctor who suddenly changed his opinion (with no new information!) only after meeting AGL Kaul and one who made numerous logical errors (MS Dahiya). The testimony of the defence witnesses was seemingly ignored (for example, the fact that the type of blunt injury to Aarushi’s head could NOT have been made by a golf club, or the DNA errors/omissions noted by expert Dr Andre Semikhodskii).
As an Indian, I’m offended that all of this can occur and no one – NO ONE – is held to account. We should be angry when this type of trampling of due process occurs, because while it happens to the Talwars today, it could happen to any of us tomorrow. In fact, regardless of whether you think the Talwars are guilty or not, you should be angry that the authorities have so smugly and brazenly taken liberties with our laws and justice system.
Should have been open and shut case right from day 1. The hindi media channels seem to have a better coverage on this than the English media. They do have a different perspective also. If hindi media to be believed , the dad apparently showed his id card to the cop and said he is mayawati’s doctor. So the pressure tactic started right on day 1. Any talk of lack of evidence is BS. They tried to cover up the case and dint work. The guy thought he is too smart but forgot a fundamental principle of digital devices. They have logs. I wonder why the mom went along here. A Mother’s role precedes a wife’s role. The Indian society really got to start thinking of parenting as a science. If a 13 year old is not safe @ home, where will any child be safe ?
