She reportedly prepared food for him for 48 hours and when he did not answer, it was found he was no more.
The woman was arrested, of course!

MOUNT HOLLY — A 77-year-old Pemberton Township woman accused of shooting her 79-year-old husband has been indicted for murder.
A Burlington County grand jury returned an indictment Tuesday against Fredricka Rosa for first-degree murder and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Rosa is accused of killing her husband, Valpa C. Rosa Sr., on July 19 by shooting him in the head and neck with a .357 Magnum.
The victim was an Army and Air Force veteran and a retired postal worker.
His body remained in the couple’s Margaret Street home for two days until one of their children called police, authorities said.
The defendant’s family has said that she suffers from dementia and that the shooting occurred after she endured decades of domestic abuse.
During the nearly 48 hours that Rosa lived with the body, she continued to prepare meals for her husband of some 50 years and tried to check on him when he didn’t show up for dinner, family members have said.
