I have written a few posts on Tharpana, Sraddha.
I have received requests for Tamil Text of Tharpana Mantras to enable one to follow the Mantras.
I am posting these Mantras.
I will be posting the meanings shortly.
I am asked to provide Tamil Tharpana Procedure as set by Agastya.
These are different from Apasthamba Sutra Tharpana in Sanskrit.
I am in the process of collating the information and shall post as soon as my information is authenticated and complete.

Duration = 0 Hours 46 Mins
Aparahna (अपराह्न) Kaal = 13:36 to 15:56
Duration = 2 Hours 20 Mins
Amavasya Tithi Begins = 11:31 on 8/Oct/2018
Amavasya Tithi Ends = 09:16 on 9/Oct/2018

you should also let us know the rates for the ceremonies, because, pandits fleece away people, finally, leaving nothing for themselves. Love to hear on this
Rates vary. My view is that we spend so much on unwanted things in life and one should not grudge in paying the Priests who are upholding ancient dharma. The perception that all priests are rich and greedy is not correct.majority of them are very poor. They,because of low income through Purohitham are sending their children to other vocations.if this continues Sanstana Dharma will lose its main pillar.At the same time we should make the priests realize that we are paying more and that is because we want Sanstana Dharma to prosper and that the priests must be beyond greed.Regards.

Shastras recommend Tharpana on all days.We have shortcircuited them , selecting some Thithis. Shall try tovpost mantras by 5th .Regards.
If a person dies, the dayadhis should perform kuzhi tharpanam on 10th day, I heard. If one of them has travelled to a foreign land on official work, it is difficult to attend the apara karyam. can the kuzhi tharpanam be done by themselves if they do regular amavasya, masa pirappu tharpanams with manthram paper? Is kuzhi tharpanam similar to amavasya tharpanam? They can’t attend the 11,12,13th days function also. is it ok if kuzhi tharpanam alone is done? Can you give the method for kuzhi tharpanam? Thanks.
If Dayadhi could not perform KuzhiTarpnam, they can do the regular Amavasai tharpanam where they can include the deceased.Even if they have not performed the Kuzhi tharpanam, they can attend the 11,12, and 13 day ceremony.Kuzhi Tharpana mantra is the same as that of Amavasya.
