  • Earth Is Hollow Science Hinduism ?

    The Puranas of the Hindus, they are eighteen in number, might differ among themselves in the narration some events recorded.

     

    But all the Puaranas are uniform in asserting that the Earth, called Jambudweepa is elliptical, egg shaped.

    While explaining the evolution of the Universe the Puranas describe the Universe as being a shell within a shell.

     

    They also describe the Seven Lokas, places of existence.

     

    Our Earth is in the middle and we have tree above  and two below us.

     

    Those that are below are the dwelling places of  Rakshasas and others.

     

    The place called Patala and two more are reported to be extremely hot.

    Consider the following facts from Hinduism, some of which have been archaeologically verified, while some are being checked up.

     

    1.The Universe is more than two billion years old.

    2.There have been Giants and Pygmies.

    3.There were super continents, like Lemuria, Atlantis.

    “The Hollow Earth Theory states that the earth is not a solid sphere with a central, hot magma which is yet to cool, but a hollow sphere that has a thick crust of landmass only around the circumference, with openings at the north and south poles. There is an ‘inner sun’ at the centre of the earth. The ring of land crust is supposed to be between 600 and 800 miles in thickness and the polar openings between 100 and 1400 miles in diameter. This leaves a space of over 7000 miles at the centre, which is hollow.

    In direct contravention to the proportion of land and water mass being of the ratio 1:4 on the surface, the inner crust has this proportion in the ration 4:1, that is, four-fifths of land and only one-fifth of water. The reason for this reversal is that the floors of the surface oceans are actually landmass on the inner side!

    A unique feature of this theory is that it logically confronts the currently accepted solid earth theory, with facts that orthodox science has overlooked. The adherents of this theory point to its origins in the religious myths throughout the world, the science fiction works of the 17th and 18th centuries, and the ‘anomalies’ found during the Arctic expeditions undertaken over the last two centuries.

    Some of these adherents subscribe to the thinking that a whole civilization
    of prosperous, peaceful and technologically more advanced humans live in a world of highly evolved vegetable and animal life sustained by the ‘inner sun’ of the hollow earth, on the vast continents of land mass that form the inner side of the surface world we are living.

    There are also people who think that the stories of dark entities such as the werevolves, vampires, ghosts and other ghastly creatures that are said to occupy the caverns under the earth might have some element of truth in them.

    Hollow Earth and the Puranas

    There are Puranic evidences that are said to point to a civilization inside the hollow earth. Some of them include:

    1. Sons of Sagara and the Patala Ganga (Brahmanda Purana)

    Indra had stolen the sacrificial horse of King Sagara which he had kept for the ashvamedha yajna (sacrifice ritual using a horse). In their search for the horse, the sons of Sagara came to a Northern ocean, which they crossed, and entered the interior of the earth. There they found the horse in the hermitage of Kapila Rishi. They mistook that it was the Rishi who stole the horse and disturbed his tapas (meditation). The angered Rishi burnt all the 60,000 of them to ashes with a curse. The horse was later found by the grandson of King Sagara and the asvamedha yajna was completed. Finally, it was Bhagiratha, a descendant of the late King Sagara who performed intense tapas and brought the Ganga River to the world and then to the Palata Loka where she washed the sins of the sons and liberated them.

    2. Kalki Avatar of Lord Vishnu

    Srimad Bhagavtam states in Canto 12, chapter 2, Text 18:

    sambhala-grama-mukhyasya
    brahmanasya mahatmanah
    bhavane visnuyasasah
    kalkih pradurbhavisyati

    According to this verse, Lord Vishnu will take the Kalki Avatar at the Sambhala village at the end of Kali Yuga to establish the oncoming Satya Yuga. Padma Purana (6.242.8-12) also mentions that the name of the village is Sambhala. This village is supposed not to exist today, but to be be born in due time, from the inner earth. The Tibetan lore speaks of a city named Shamballa which they consider to be in the interior of the earth on the Himalayas. Thus the Satya Yuga with its truly Vedic civilization will be established on the surface of the earth from its interior.

    3. Parasurama’s Connection

    Srimad Bhagavatam states in Canto 9, Chapter 16, Text 21 that Sri Parasurama, after wiping out the kshatriya clan off the face of the earth, performed a yajna (sacrifice) to bring his father back to life.

    “After completing the sacrifice, Lord Parasurama gave the eastern
    direction to the hota as a gift, the south to the brahma, the west to the
    adhvaryu, the north to the udgata, and the four corners–northeast,
    southeast, northwest and southwest–to the other priests. He gave the
    middle to Kasyapa and the place known as Aryavarta to the upadrasta.
    Whatever remained he distributed among the sadasyas, the associate
    priests.”

    Hollow Earth theory adherents say that the term ‘madhyatah’ in the above verse might mean the central or innter portion of the earth (that Sri Parasurama gave to Kasyapa Rishi), but this seems to be a far-fetched idea, as the verse is clear as to what parts of the earth he gave as gifts to the rishis.

    However, the Hindi TV serial on Vishnu Puranam showed Sri Parasurama springing up from the interior of the earth to kill a kshatriya king.

    4. Abduction of Duryodhana

    Vana-parva of Mahabharata describes a battle waged by Karna and Duryodhana with the Gandharvas in a forest. Duryodhana was defeated and captured by the Gandharvas until he was rescued by Arjuna, his archenemy. Humilated, Duryodhana decided to give up his life doing tapas and fasting unto death. The Danavas found this out, created a powerful woman named Kritya, using whom they brought Duryodhana to their nether world (bila-svarga). They explained to Duryodhana that he was born out of a yajna (sacrifice) to please Lord Shiva, that his friend Karna was Narkasura in his earlier birth who was hostile to Vishnu and that their purpose was to defeate the Pandavas. The Danavas also assured that great warriors like Drona and Bhishma would be influenced by them to fight the war remaining on his side. The whole episodes seemed like a dream to Duryodhana.

    Strangely, the Hollow Earth theorists attribute this episode to be typical of a UFO encounter! This is because they think that the origin of the UFOs is from the interior earth through the polar openings.     1. A strange being takes Duryodhana bodily to another location, where he has a meeting with other strange beings.
    2. Mystical or higher-dimensional transport is used.
    3. The strange beings have human form, but look ‘gruesome’. Certainly they are ‘aliens’.
    4. These beings have been guiding Duryodhana’s life from the very beginning.
    5. They designed his body so that he would be impervious to weapons. Thus they apparently engaged in genetic manipulations, or something similar.
    6. The aliens were planning to manipulate human beings through mind control.
    7. After his interview, Duryodhana returned to the spot where he was taken, and after settling him down, his captor disappeared.
    8. After the experience, it seemed to be a dream.
    9. There are accounts in the UFO literature which parallel the story of Duryodhana.

    5. Arctic Home of the Vedas

    Bala Gangadhar Tilak (1856-1920), a key participant in India’s freedom struggle was a vedic scholar and researches. He published his findings in a book titled The Arctic Home of The Vedas in 1903. In this book he quotes the authority of Vedas and states that the original Arctic home of humanity was destroyed around 10,000 – 8,000 BCE by the last Ice Age, and that from 8,000 – 3000 BCE, was the ‘Age of Wandering’, before they Vedic people finally settled in India between 5,000 – 3000 BCE.

    In chapter four, page 57 of the book, Tilak writes:

    We shall therefore, next quote the Mahabharat, which gives such a clear description of Mount Meru, the lord of the mountains, as to leave no doubt its being the North Pole, or possessing the Polar characteristics. In chapters 163 and 164 of Vanaparvan, Arjuna’s visit to the mount is described in detail and we are therein told, ‘at Meru the Sun and the Moon go round from left to right ( Pradadakshinam ) every day and so do all the stars.’ From the normal, inhabited longitudes on the surface of the earth, the Sun and Moon don’t rise and travel left and right, only above one’s head. According to how one turns, the rising could be left or right, frontal or from the back. Only from the Arctic could the rising of the Sun be from left to right, and it can ONLY be from left to right. So what region is being referred to in this description of Meru’s placement?”

    The Ramayana one of the most famous texts of India, tells the story of the great avatar, Rama. It describes Rama as “an emissary from *Agartha” who arrived on a Vimana.     The Entrances. While the entrance to Bhogavati is somewhere in the Himalayas, believers assert that Patala can be entered through the Well of Sheshna in Benares, India. Says William Michael Mott in “The Deep Dwellers”: “According to herpetologist and author Sherman A. Minton, as stated in his book Venomous Reptiles, this entrance is very real, with forty steps which descend into a circular depression, to terminate at a closed stone door which is covered in bas-relief cobras.

    *I am yet to find ‘Agartha’ in Sanskrit version.

     

    If the core of the Earth is too hot and it is increases  dramatically during Solar Flares to such an extent  that it could have destroyed the Earth.

    It has not happened.

    There is no satisfactory explanation for the Google Maps anomaly  in the North Pole( I shall be posting on this).

    Science , at best, in my view,  is a working Hypothesis.That’s all consider the volte face science has done in all the fields.

    Legends and Puranas may also be accorded the same consideration while formulating theories and await further evidence to surface.

    They may be taken as pointers to facts and may be kept in mind for referral while formulating a Theory instead of condemning them.

    Now as to the question where is /was Tripura located ?

    Considering the fact that Vaivaswataha Manu migrated from the Dravida territory to Sarasvathi Valley,while Shiva, Ganesha and Muruga left through the Arabian Sea towards the west, middle-east to settle further east,

    The descendants of the group , which left Dravida for the Sarasvathi Valley,traveled  through Iran, Kazhakasthan through Russia to finally settle down at the Arctic,

    The Rig Veda was composed in the Arctic,

    my search was on to locate the places the descendants of Shiva visited.

    The term Asura means powerful.

    While Ravana from the southern part of Bharatavarsha is called a Rakashsa, the people of Atala, Atlantis were called Asuras.

    This term set me to search for a landmass which had a culture similar to Sanatana Dharma.

    One finds references to this in the Ramayana where Sugriva directs hs army to search for Sita in Peru, identifying it with the Nazca Lines, which he called

    The description of Tripura confirmed suspicion that Atlantis is Tripura mentioned in the Purana and destroyed by Lord Shiva.

    They deliver results  whether you know their meaning or not, for Fire will burn you whether you know it or not.

    It helps to know the meaning for the spiritually inclined.

    And for the disbeliever, the mantras are nothing more than gibberish, at most inane statements.

    When one reads the meaning of he Gayatri Mantra, it is not profound, but the results it delivers are unimaginable, when intoned properly.

    Some Mantras and Stuthis contain scientific facts.

    One such is the Krishna  Stuthi, which contains the value of Pi to thirty-one decimal points.

    ca, ta, and sa all stand for 6;
    cha, tha, and sa all denote 7;
    ja, da, and ha all represent 8;
    jha and dha stand for 9; and

    Vowels make no difference and it is left to the author to select a particular consonant or vowel at each step.

    This great latitude allows one to bring about additional meanings of his own choice. For example kapa, tapa, papa, and yapa all mean 11. By a particular choice of consonants and vowels one can compose a poetic hymn with double or triple meanings.

    The triangle of female genital organ,

    The three strands of Upaveeda.

    Three primary Stages of life, Asrama-Brahmacharya, Gruhastha and Vanaprastha-Sanyasa can be practiced in any of the three.

    The importance of three is elaborately explained thus.

    Now Mathematical research has proved the Principle of three.

    “In 1970, Vitaly Efimov was manipulating the equations of quantum mechanics in an attempt to calculate the behavior of sets of three particles, such as the protons and neutrons that populate atomic nuclei, when he discovered a law that pertained not only to nuclear ingredients but also, under the right conditions, to any trio of particles in nature.

    While most forces act between pairs, such as the north and south poles of a magnet or a planet and its sun, Efimov identified an effect that requires three components to spring into action. Together, the components form a state of matter similar toBorromean rings, an ancient symbol of three interconnected circles in which no two are directly linked. The so-called Efimov “trimer” could consist of a trio of protons, a triatomic molecule or any other set of three particles, as long as their properties were tuned to the right values. And in a surprising flourish, this hypothetical state of matter exhibited an unheard-of feature: the ability to range in size from practically infinitesimal to infinite.

    “It’s a pretty wild idea,” said Randy Hulet, a physics professor at Rice University in Houston. “You get this infinite series of molecules.”

    Efimov had shown that when three particles come together, a special confluence of their forces creates the Borromean rings effect: Though one is not enough, the effects of two particles can conspire to bind a third. The nesting-doll feature — called discrete scale invariance — arose from a symmetry in the equation describing the forces between three particles. If the particles satisfied the equation when spaced a certain distance apart, then the same particles spaced 22.7 times farther apart were also a solution. This number, called a “scaling factor,” emerged from the mathematics as inexplicably as pi, the ratio between a circle’s circumference and diameter.

    “It’s like layers of an onion,” Hulet said. “You see molecules at one layer. Peel the layer away, and you see that there’s a molecule there 22.7 times smaller. Every time you peel away a layer, you find another molecule.”..

    Rudi Grimm and his group at the University of Innsbruck in Austria managed to create an Efimov trimer for the first time in 2006, building it from a trio of cesium atoms cooled to 10-billionths of a degree above absolute zero. It was a long-awaited triumph for Efimov, who, Grimm recalled, became very emotional when he heard the news.

    But the result did not decisively prove the theory.

    “With just one example, it’s very difficult to tell if it’s a Russian nesting doll,” said Cheng Chin, a professor of physics at the University of Chicago who was part of Grimm’s group in 2006. The ultimate proof would be an observation of consecutive Efimov trimers, each enlarged by a factor of 22.7. “That initiated a new race” to prove the theory, Chin said.

    Eight years later, the competition to observe a series of Efimov states has ended in a photo finish. “What you see is three groups, in three different countries, reporting these multiple Efimov states all within about one month,” said Chin, who led one of the groups. “It’s totally amazing.”

    Hinduism describes fourteen Lokas or places  where there is Existence.

     

    I have not used the term Human.

     

    The descriptions are of beings;  in terms of Color, Shape, their behaviors, they  are different.

     

    One view is that they are descriptions indicating Spiritual Development.

     

    For example, Chandra Loka denotes mental acumen and development of Buddhi unhindered by Mans, the Mind.

     

    Chandra indicates the Mind.

     

    Suyra, Sun represents knowledge.

     

    Budha , Mercury Wisdom.

     

    Bruhaspati, Jupiter, Discerning ability.

     

    Angaaraka, Volatile temper,

     

    Sukra , venus, material enjoyment,

     

    Sani, Saturn, mental toughness,

     

    Raahhu, a shadow planet, represents,aggressive behavior, to be tempered by Wisdom by Kethu another Shadow planet by Philosophical Disposition.

    However there is another view, which states that these are places inhabited by Beings.

     

    I subscribe to the view that these Planets do not indicate dwelling Places, but only  mental stages as a careful study of the Vedas reveal .

     

    The Veda Mantras addressed to these Planets, including Navagraha Mantras used in The Navagraha Homa, talk about qualities and are allegorical.

     

    However there are legends in the Purans on these planets having Form and are found to be interacting among themselves and with Human Beings.

     

    But specific places of their dwelling is only hinted at and these may indicate their qualities.

     

    But there are other Fourteen Lokas described in the Vedas and Purans .

     

    These are spiritual and Dwelling Places.

     

    They might exist in different planes, at different levels.

     

    An interpretation is that these are the Quantum Fields other than where we exist.

    1.Bhu Loka

     

    Vishnu Purana: Chapter 7:- Wherever earthy substance exists, which may be traversed by the feet, that constitutes the sphere of the earth (Bhu Loka), the dimensions of which I have already recounted to you.

    Amongst the 14 worlds thus mentioned, the 7th one viz. Bhu-loka is  Earth..

    ‘Bhu’ means ‘Earth’ and ‘loka’ means the surface of planet Earth, where we live.

    2.Bhuvar Loka.

    Vishnu Purana: Chapter 7:- The region that extends from the earth to the sun, in which the Siddhas and other celestial beings move, is the atmospheric sphere (Bhuvar Loka), which also I have described.

     

    Bhuvar-loka is identified with Earth’s atmosphere and sometimes with the space which is in the immediate neighborhood of Earth.

     

     

    In other words Bhuvarloka is the near-Earth space including Earth’s atmosphere.

     

    This is the region were all the aircrafts fly and where all the artificial-satellites and space-stations that orbit around the Earth are situated.

     

    This region canbre equated to the Geospace, the space dominated by Earth’s magnetic field.

     

     

    3.Suvar Loka.

     

    Vishnu Purana: Chapter 7:- The interval between the sun and Dhruva, extending fourteen hundred thousand leagues, is called by those who are acquainted with the system of the universe the heavenly sphere (Suvar Loka)

    Suvar-loka (alternatively Swar-loka) is beyond Bhuvarloka.

    Some description makes it a planet inhabited by the Devaswith their king Indra.

    Some references make it equivalent to the Swarga

    Some Puranic references equate Suvarloka to the Solar System.

    As per these the Suvar loka is consisted of nine sub divisions or sectors called

    1) Druva Mandala, 2) Sani Mandala, 3) Brihaspati Mandala, 4) Angaraka Mandala, 5) Sukra Mandala, 6) Budha Mandala, 7) Nakshatra Mandala, 8) Chandra Mandala, 9) Surya Mandala.

    Human beings are among the inhabitants.

    4. Mahar Loka.

    Vishnu Purana: Chapter 7:- Above Dhruva, at the distance of ton million leagues, lies the sphere of saints, or Mahar-loka, the inhabitants of which dwell in it throughout a Kalpa, or day of Brahmá.

    Maharloka is  the place of saintly souls (as per Vishnu Purana) and is considered as greater than the Suvarloka .

     

    Some Puarans say that the souls of the Saptarshis (the Seven Sages of Ancient India) reside here with a watchful eye upon the activities of humanity on Earth.

     

    Maharloka can be equated to the region (Stellar Neighborhood) where all the stars visible to us including our Sun (and thus the Suvar Loka or our Solar System) is situated.

     

    Inhabitants of Mahar Loka belongs to an inter stellar civilization.

     

    All of the 27 Nakshatras  belongs to Mahar Loka.

     

     

    5.Jana Loka, The Milky Way Galaxy.

     

    Vishnu Purana: Chapter 7:- At twice that distance is situated Janaloka, where Sanandana and other pure-minded sons of Brahmá, reside.

    Jana Loka is described greater than Mahar Loka, contains the Mahar Loka, the world of the stars visible to us.

    This can be equated to the Milky_Way Galaxy itself. The word ‘Jana’ means people.

    In this case, Jana Loka thus becomes the world of people belonging to the Milky Way Galactic Civilization.

     

    6.Tapo Loka.  Galaxies.

     

    Vishnu Purana: Chapter 7:- At four times the distance, between the two last, lies the Tapo-loka (the sphere of penance), inhabited by the deities called Vaibhrájas, who are unconsumable by fire.

    Tapo Loka is described as ‘greater than’ or ‘beyond’ or ‘above’ the Jana Loka.

     It is  the world of the Galaxies visible to us, including the Milky Way Galaxy.

    Thus it can be  equated with the inter-galactic structures like the Local Group of Galaxies, the Virgo Super Cluster of Galaxies and the Pisces Cetus Super

    Cluster Complex.

    7.Satya Loka.

    Vishnu Purana: Chapter 7:- At six times the distance (or twelve Crores, a hundred and twenty millions of leagues) is situated Satya-loka, the sphere of truth, the inhabitants of which never again know death.

    Satya Loka is a Loka greater than the Tapo Loka.

     

    It is the first among all the 14 Lokas.

     

    It can be equated to the Universe itself containing several Worlds of Galaxies (Tapo Lokas).

     

    Satya Loka is the abode of Brahma, the God of Creation.

     

    Some Puranas describe Brahma as residing in a Cosmic Egg, the Egg of Brahma or Brahmanda. The Universe indeed can be conceived as a Cosmic Egg.

     

    Some Puranas consider a Lotus which sprang from the naval of Vishnu, the primordial being, as the abode of Brahma.

     

    Due to its expansion from aSingularity (a hyper-massive black-hole of infinite mass and infinitesimal size), the Universe indeed looks like a lotus sprang from a navel, except that we need to consider it as a four dimensional (4D) lotus rather than a three dimensional (3D) one.

     

    In this case ‘the navel of Vishnu‘ can be equated to the Singularity from which our Universe has sprung up.

     

    Thus ‘Satya Loka’ is same as ‘the Lotus that sprang from the navel’.

     

    It is same as our ‘Universe’ itself. It is also the ‘Brahmanda’, the ‘Egg of Brahma’ in which Brahma resides.

    The etymology of the word ‘Vishnu’ means ‘that which expands (vis:- expand)’. The etymology of the word ‘Brahma’ to means ‘that which is big or that which is expanded (Brh:- expand, grow, large)’.

     

    Both of these words (personified as Brahma and Vishnu) signifies the expansion of the Universe (a property inherent in the Universe).

     

     

    The inhabitants of this Cosmic World are mentioned as immortals (ie, they exist till the universe exists).
