  • Jesus Christ Killed Had Bad Temper Apocrypha Bible

    One of the problems, which those who design a Religious text, do not realize that, whatever be the presentation and promotion , Truth will surface.

    Especially so, if the Religious text is selected from about 300 versions and only that which suited the Political expediency is accepted.

    The danger is that there are chances that the rejected material shall also come through.

    This, being of the same origin as that of the accepted Text will carry the same force as the one accepted.

    I am talking about the Bible, which was compiled by a Conclave of Cardinals and only that which suited the political necessities of Empire Constantine was accepted as the Religious text.

    There were more than 300 versions reported to have been considered by the conclave of the Cardinals.

    Now there are those versions of the Bible that have become available that speak differently of Jesus and His Character.

    These Books are called the Lost Books of the Bible, Apocrypha Bible.

    Some of the material found in these books are very uncomfortable for a Religion which says it the most Compassionate and Jesus  was a Prince of Peace.

    No question, the kid portrayed in the “The Lost Books of the Bible” isn’t exactly the Prince of Peace. After recounting three murders in two pages, one passage concludes, “Then said Joseph to St. Mary, henceforth we will not allow him to go out of the house; for everyone who displeases him is killed.”

    The “lost books” are part of the apocrypha, quasibiblical works not included in the official Bible. There are several dozen of these, dating from both Old and New Testament eras and exhibiting considerable variety in length, completeness, and credibility. A few of these were considered inspired in some corners of the early church but were ultimately excluded from the formal canon for one reason or another; the remainder, which account for the bulk of the material, have always been regarded as spurious by the mainstream church and include works condemned as heretical or fraudulent…

    In 1820 a number of the apocryphal books were compiled into a sort of alternative Bible called the Apocryphal New Testament. This was republished in 1926 as The Lost Books of the Bible and reprinted in 1979; the last version is what you saw. The 1820 book in turn was an aggregation of two English translations published in 1736 and 1737. The original works were a serious attempt to advance bible study, but the subsequent publications, arguably in 1820 and certainly from 1926 onward, were an attempt to sell books by creating scandal.

    The homicidal-Jesus stories come from something known as the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. (This is to be distinguished from the better-known but equally apocryphal Gospel According to Thomas, about which more below.) Several versions of the Infancy Gospel have come to light, dating back to about the sixth century AD; all are copies of earlier texts.

    As near as scholars can make out, the Thomas story originated in the mid-second century AD, subsequent to the four canonical gospels (that is, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). Some say it was based in part on Luke; the two books share the story of Jesus scourging the money lenders at the Temple. It is one of the few portrayals, spurious or not, of Jesus’s early life, which no doubt accounts for its continued circulation after eighteen hundred years…

    Gospel According to Thomas, a collection of 114 sayings attributed to Jesus discovered in Egypt in 1945. It is taken more seriously than the Infancy Gospel and while not as outrageous is equally troubling in its way. It ends, “Simon Peter said to them, ‘Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life.’ Jesus said, ‘I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven.’”

    Zephaniah 2:12-15

    “You Ethiopians will also be slaughtered by my sword,” says the LORD. And the LORD will strike the lands of the north with his fist. He will destroy Assyria and make its great capital, Nineveh, a desolate wasteland, parched like a desert. The city that once was so proud will become a pasture for sheep and cattle. All sorts of wild animals will settle there. Owls of many kinds will live among the ruins of its palaces, hooting from the gaping windows. Rubble will block all the doorways, and the cedar paneling will lie open to the wind and weather. This is the fate of that boisterous city, once so secure. “In all the world there is no city as great as I,” it boasted. But now, look how it has become an utter ruin, a place where animals live! Everyone passing that way will laugh in derision or shake a defiant fist

     

    Ezekiel 9:5-7

    “Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, “Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all – old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin your task right here at the Temple.” So they began by killing the seventy leaders. “Defile the Temple!” the LORD commanded. “Fill its courtyards with the bodies of those you kill! Go!” So they went throughout the city and did as they were told.”

     

    Matthew henry’s Biblical commentary writes this on Ezekial 9:5-7 :

     

    . A command given to the destroyers to do execution according to their commission. They stood by the brazen altar, waiting for orders; and orders are here given them to cut off and destroy all that were either guilty of, or accessory to, the abominations of Jerusalem, and that did not sigh and cry for them.     1. They are ordered to destroy all, (1.) Without exception. They must go through the city, and smite; they must slay utterly, slay to destruction, give them their death’s wound. This was fulfilled in the death of multitudes by famine and pestilence, especially by the sword of the Chaldeans, as far as the military execution went. Sometimes even such bloody work as this has been God’s work. But what an evil thing is sin, then, which provokes the God of infinite mercy to such severity! (2.)     1. They are warned not to do the least hurt to those that were marked for salvation: “Come not near any man upon whom is the mark; do not so much as threaten or frighten any of them; it is promised them that there shall no evil come nigh them, and therefore you must keep at a distance from them.” The king of Babylon gave particular orders that Jeremiah should be protected. Baruch and Ebed-melech were secured, and, it is likely, others of Jeremiah’s friends, for his sake. God had promised that it should go well with his remnant and they should be well treated (Jeremiah 15:11 <http://www.studylight.org/desk/?query=jer+15:11&t=kjv&gt; ); and we have reason to think that none of the mourning praying remnant fell by the sword of the Chaldeans, but that God found out some way or other to secure them all, as, in the last destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans, the Christians were all secured in a city called Pella, and none of them perished with the unbelieving Jews. Note, None of those shall be lost whom God has marked for life and salvation; for the foundation of God stands sure.

    There is this story going around fro some years now that Jesus visited India,learnt the Buddhist/Hindu Doctrines during his ‘missing years’!

    There are also suggestions that there is a Tomb of Christ In Kashmir.

    Well, according to an eclectic combination of New Age Christians, unorthodox Muslims and fans of the Da Vinci Code, the grave contains the mortal remains of a candidate for the most important visitor of all time to India.

    ‘Crazy professor’

    Officially, the tomb is the burial site of Youza Asaph, a medieval Muslim preacher – but a growing number of people believe that it is in fact the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth.

    They believe that Jesus survived the crucifixion almost 2,000 Easters ago, and went to live out his days in Kashmir.

    “What else could they do? They had to close it,” Riaz told me.

    His family home almost overlooks the shrine, and he is witheringly dismissive of the notion that Jesus was buried there.

    “It’s a story spread by local shopkeepers, just because some crazy professor said it was Jesus’s tomb. They thought it would be good for business. Tourists would come, after all these years of violence.

    “And then it got into the Lonely Planet, and too many people started coming.

    “And one foreigner…” he gave me an apologetic look, “broke off a bit from the tomb to take home with him. So that’s why it’s closed now.”

    There are gaps in Jesus Story,

    There are unaccounted years in Jesus’s Life.

    This is being used to propagate all sorts of theories.

    Consider these facts.

    1.Name of Jesus is not known even today.

    2.The Bible was compiled by Constantine 300 years after the death of Christ in a Conclave of Cardinals.

    3.The reference to this story of Jesus visiting India is not found in the Old Testament.

    4.The idea for this story started of by a writer of fiction.

    5.Even here it is mentioned that Jesus visited India.

    Just how many Tombs one would have?

    7.There are other sources(!?) on this story which could make one laugh aloud,

    Hence the canard that Jesus visited India, learnt from Hinduism and was buried in Kashmir is false

    and mischievous.

    This is yet another attempt at Religious conversion of Hindus by trying to legitimize Jesus as presenting Hinduism in another format much like other stories being spread that the Monotheism of Islam is nothing but Vedic Monotheism

    These pseudo scientific studies must be nipped in the bud.

    The phrases “lost years of Jesus” is usually encountered in esoteric literature (where it at times also refers to his possible post-crucifixion activities), but is not commonly used in scholarly literature since it is assumed that Jesus was probably working as a carpenter in Galilee from the age of twelve till thirty, so the years were not “lost years”, and that he died in Calvary.[2][3][4]

    In the late medieval period, Arthurian legendsappeared that the young Jesus had been inBritain.[5]

    In the 19th and 20th centuries theories began to emerge that between the ages of 12 and 30 Jesus had visited India, or had studied with the Essenes in the Judea desert.[4][6]

    Modern mainstream Christian scholarship has generally rejected these theories and holds that nothing is known about this time period in the life of Jesus.

    Following the accounts of Jesus’ young life, there is a gap of about 18 years in his story in the New Testament.[4][7][13]Other than the generic statement that after he was 12 years old (Luke 2:42) Jesus “advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52), the New Testament has no other details regarding the gap.[4] While Christian tradition suggests that Jesus simply lived in Galilee during that period,[14] modern scholarship holds that there is little historical information to determine what happened during those years.[4]

    The story of Jesus visiting Britain as a boy is a late medieval development based on legends connected with Joseph of Arimathea.[5] During the late 12th century, Joseph of Arimatheabecame connected with the Arthurian cycle, appearing in them as the first keeper of the Holy Grail.[5] This idea first appears in Robert de Boron‘s Joseph d’Arimathie, in which Joseph receives the Grail from an apparition of Jesus and sends it with his followers to Britain. This theme is elaborated upon in Boron’s sequels and in subsequent Arthurian works penned by others.[5]

    The idea of Indian influences on Jesus (and Christianity) has been suggested in Louis Jacolliot‘s book La Bible dans l’Inde, Vie de Iezeus Christna (1869)[28] (The Bible in India, or the Life of Jezeus Christna), although Jacolliot does not claim travels by Jesus to India.[29]

    Jacolliot compared the accounts of the life of Bhagavan Krishna with that of Jesus Christ in the gospels and concluded that it could not have been a coincidence that the two stories have so many similarities in many of the finer details. He concluded that the account in the gospels is a myth based on the mythology of ancient India. However, Jacolliot was comparing two different periods of history (or mythology) and did not claim that Jesus was in India. Jacolliot used the spelling “Christna” instead of “Krishna” and claimed that Krishna’s disciples gave him the name “Jezeus,” a name supposed to mean “pure essence” in Sanskrit.[29] However, according to Max Müller that is not a Sanskrit term at all and “it was simply invented” by Jacoillot”

  • ‘Jesus’ Name Is Not Real

    Jesus is the name attributed the Founder of Christianity.

    Jesus means the ‘anointed’

    There other meanings ascribed based on the writings from the Old Testament and the New Testament.

    Most of the allusions given indicate that it is not the real name but allusions, which can be inferred from the com the context in which it was used.

    While the Old Testament was compiled at the behest of Constantine, The New testament was written to suit King James.

    So th name Jesus is not real.

    The intent of this article is to investigate the origin of the Greek name Jesus and its erroneous transliteration of the Hebrew name of our Savior Yahshua.  Our Saviour’s Name in Hebrew is    (read from right to left). The English name “Jesus,” which later employed the letter “J,” is a derivation from Greek “Iesous” and the Latin “Iesus” version.

    This name “Jesus” commonly used in Christianity today did not exist and would not be spelled with the letter “J” until about 500 years ago.   • Jesus Born 24 December 4BC

    There have been a lot of papers on the date of birth of Jesus Christ.

    We now celebrate Christmas, the Birth Day of Jesus on 24 December.

    New Research indicates that Jesus was born on 24 December between  5 and early 4 Centuries  BC.

    This has been arrived at by calculating date on the basis of an eclipse of the moon just before Herod passed on. This occurred on March 12th or 13th in 4 B.C. Josephus also tells us that Herod expired just before Passover. This feast took place on April 11th, in the same year, 4 B.C.

    The Bible was compiled later, about 500 later by Constantine, with the help of a Conclave of Cardinals.

    While it seems alright to accept the date of Birth of Christ as authentic as this was compiled later,some 300 versions were prepared before one version was adopted.

    This is what we follow as The Old Testament.

    “Emperor Constantine, who was Roman Emperor from 306 CE until his death in 337 CE, used what motivates many to action – MONEY! He offered the various Church leaders money to agree upon a single canon that would be used by all Christians as the word of God. The Church leaders gathered together at the Council of Nicaea and voted the “word of God” into existence. (I wish to thank Brian Show for pointing out in his rebuttal to this article that the final version of the Christian Bible was not voted on at the Council of Nicaea, per se. The Church leaders didn’t finish editing the “holy” scriptures until the Council of Trent when the Catholic Church pronounced the Canon closed.     As for as The Ramayana goes, external evidence is provided in the Puranas(means ‘ very old’) , Eighteen in Number( in Sanskrit) and in regional Languages of India, be it Tamil,Telugu,Kannada, Malayalam,Hindi,Bengali,Oriya,other languages .

    In addition Dialects of India have this spread through word of mouth.

    Though the versions vary in embellishments, the basic fact that there was a King called Rama , he had been sent to forest with his wife called Sita by his father who wanted to appease his wife(not Rama’s mother),she was abducted by a Chieftain called Ravana of Sri Lanka and he was killed by Rama , never varies.(History of The Tamils by P.T.Srinivasa Iyengar)

    Reference to the Ramayana has been made in Mahabharata, which is posterior to The Ramayana.

    One of the characters in The Mahabharata is Lord Krishna, whose palace has been unearthed off Gujarat coast , India.(please see my blog filed under(‘Videos)

  • Jesus Used Cannabis,Healed Study.

    The Guardian,UK reported a news story stating that Jesus Christ was cannabis User and used it to heal .

    Jesus  was almost certainly a cannabis user and an early proponent of the medicinal properties of the drug, according to a study of scriptural texts published this month. The study suggests that Jesus and his disciples used the drug to carry out miraculous healings.

    “The anointing oil used by Jesus and his disciples contained an ingredient called kaneh-bosem which has since been identified as cannabis extract, according to an article by Chris Bennett in the drugs magazine, High Times, entitled Was Jesus a Stoner? The incense used by Jesus in ceremonies also contained a cannabis extract, suggests Mr Bennett, who quotes scholars to back his claims.

    “There can be little doubt about a role for cannabis in Judaic religion,” Carl Ruck, professor of classical mythology at Boston University said.

    Referring to the existence of cannabis in anointing oils used in ceremonies, he added: “Obviously the easy availability and long-established tradition of cannabis in early Judaism _ would inevitably have included it in the [Christian] mixtures.”

    Mr Bennett suggests those anointed with the oils used by Jesus were “literally drenched in this potent mixture _ Although most modern people choose to smoke or eat pot, when its active ingredients are transferred into an oil-based carrier, it can also be absorbed through the skin”.

    Quoting the New Testament, Mr Bennett argues that Jesus anointed his disciples with the oil and encouraged them to do the same with other followers. This could have been responsible for healing eye and skin diseases referred to in the Gospels.

    “If cannabis was one of the main ingredients of the ancient anointing oil _ and receiving this oil is what made Jesus the Christ and his followers Christians, then persecuting those who use cannabis could be considered anti-Christ,” Mr Bennett concludes.”

    ‘D The title “Messiah” is much older than Christianity, as all the ancient kings of Israel are referred to as the “Messiah”. “Christos – Anointed One, a title of many Middle-Eastern sacrificial gods: Attis, Adonis, Tammuz, Osiris. . .” 12‘

    ‘B The “m” is a pronounced plural, and the singular kaneh-bos sounds remarkably similar to the modern cannabis. Although often mistranslated as “calamus”, the word has been translated as “fragrant-cane” in most modern bibles, and specifically designates the fragrant flowering tops of cannabis.’

    Some modern “scholars” have claimed that the King James translators mistranslated the Hebrew word “qaneh” (pronounced “Kaw-neh”).  They did not.  It amazes me how ignorant many of today’s self-professed “scholars” are.  You don’t have to be a scholar to understand the truth, all you need is the Holy Spirit of God (John 16:13).  These “scholars” claim that in Exodus 30:23, “calamus” was actually “kineboisin” –which is the Hebrew word for cannabis (hemp, or marijuana).  Where did this “scholarly” information come from?   Suspiciously, there are only a couple sources of this NEW information.

    There are a few different claims, but the most recent and weighty was allegedly from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1980.  Even more suspicious is the ridiculous claim that a few people have found a NEW truth that theologians and translators have missed for thousands of years.  Do you really believe that?  If you do, I have some swamp land in Siberia I’d like to sell you.

    Allegedly, in 1903, the British physician Dr. Creighton was the first to determine that several references to cannabis can be found in the Old Testament.  Interestingly, no one can seem to document this claim.  Then again in 1936, etymologist Sara Benetowa (of the Institute of Anthropological Sciences in Warsaw) allegedly discovered the connection between kaneh-bosem in the Old Testament, and the original Semitic Hebrew origins of the word cannabis.  Again, where’s the proof of these allegations?  Anyone can say anything; but without proof, it is only conjecture at best.

    I have a big problem with a few things here.  First, are you going to believe a doctor and an etymologist over tens-of thousands of theologians and translators throughout history?  Second, there are NO proofs of these claims.  Third, there is absolutely nothing in the Bible which permits substance abuse.  And fourthly…
    The hebrew University in Jerusalem is pro-Homosexual.

    They even have the Hebrew University “Gay and Lesbian Student Union.”  Please read, Gays in Israel Demand Equal Rights.  Are you going to trust the Biblical scholarship of a university that allows, condones, trains, graduates, and honors HOMOSEXUALS!  In 1999, Rabbi Steven Greenberg challenged Orthodox Jewish tradition when he became the first Orthodox rabbi ever to openly declare his homosexuality.  He wrote a book titled, “Wrestling With God and Men: Homosexuality in the Jewish Tradition.  Dr. Tova Hartman, a Jewish scholar and a lecturer at Hebrew University’s School of Education in Jerusalem, who teachers gender studies and sex differences, said concerning Rabbi Greenberg…

    ‘As doubtful as the following hypothesis might first seem to the reader, I might as well boldly state my case right from the start: either Jesus used marijuana or he was not the Christ. The very word “Christ”, by the implication of its linguistic origins and true meaning, gives us the most profound evidence that Jesus did in fact use the same herb as his ancient semitic ancestors, and which is still used by people around the world for its enlightening and healing properties.

    The Greek title “Christ” is the translation of the Hebrew word Messiah, which in English becomes “The Anointed” D. The Messiah was recognized as such by his being anointed with the holy anointing oil, the use of which was restricted to the instillation of Hebrew priests and kings (See CC#5). If Jesus was not initiated in this fashion then he was not the Christ, and had no official claim to the title.

    From the time of Moses until that of the later prophet Samuel, the holy anointing oil was used by the shamanic Levite priesthood to receive the “revelations of the Lord”. At the dawn of the age of Kings, Samuel extended the use of the anointing oil to the Hebraic monarchs by anointing Saul (and later David) as “Messiah-king”. These kings lead their people with the benefit of insights achieved through using the holy anointing oil to become “possessed with the spirit of the Lord.”

    “Anointing was common among kings of Israel. It was the sign and symbol of royalty. The word ‘Messiah’ signifies the ‘Anointed One’, and none of the kings of Israel were styled the Messiah unless anointed.”1 The title was clearly only given to those “having the crown of God’s unction upon them” (Leviticus 21:12).

    After the fall of the Jewish kingdoms, and the bloody purges following the forged discovery of the Book of theLaw (1 Kings 23), the cannabis holy oil was prohibited as associated with pagan worship. Yet it seems that certain sects retained the topical entheogen, and continued to practice the older religion, silently awaiting the return of a Messiah-king in the line of David.

    The ministry of Jesus marked the return of the Jewish Messiah-kings, and thus the re-emergence of the holy oil. Jesus was called the Christ because he violated the Old Testament taboo on the cannabis oil and distributed it freely for initiation rites and to heal the sick and wounded.

    Although there is some evidence of Jesus’ use of this Judaic cannabis oil in the traditional New Testament, we get a clearer picture of its importance when we also look at surviving Gnostic documents. The term Gnostic, meaning “knowledge”, refers to a variety of early Christian sects which had extremely different beliefs about both Jesus and his teachings than those which have come down to us through modern Christianity.”
