Kara Nyāsa (करन्यास) for Sri Bhuvaneshvari Tantra:
1. ॐ ह्रां अङ्गुष्ठाभ्यां नमः । – by uttering this mantra, touch thumb from bottom to top by index finger tip (both hands simultaneously). 2. ॐ ह्रीं तर्जनीभ्यां नमः। – by uttering this mantra, touch index finger from bottom to top by thumb tip (both hands simultaneously). 3. ॐ ह्रूँ मध्यमाभ्यां नमः । – by uttering this mantra, touch middle finger from bottom to top by thumb tip (both hands simultaneously). 4. ॐ ह्रैं अनामिकाभ्यां नमः । – by uttering this mantra, touch ring finger from bottom to top by thumb tip (both hands simultaneously). 5. ॐ ह्रौं कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः । – by uttering this mantra, touch little finger from bottom to top by thumb tip (both hands simultaneously). 6. ॐ ह्रः करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः । – by uttering this mantra, touch top and bottom of both hands. — इति करन्यासः।
Hridiyādhi-Shadanga Nyāsa (हृदयादिषडङ्गन्यास)for Sri Bhuvaneshvari Tantra:
1. ॐ ह्रां हृदयाय नमः । – by uttering this mantra, touch heart with right hand ring, middle and index fingers together. 2. ॐ ह्रीं शिरसे स्वाहा। – by uttering this mantra, touch head with right hand ring and middle fingers together. 3. ॐ ह्रूँ शिखायै वषट् । – by uttering this mantra, touch hair with right hand thumb. 4. ॐ ह्रैं कवचाय हुं । – by uttering this mantra, touch left-shoulder with right-hand five fingers together and at the same time touch right-shoulder with left-hand five fingers together. 5. ॐ ह्रौं नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट् । – by uttering this mantra, touch both eyes and middle of eyebrow (Ājñā chakra/आज्ञा चक्र) with right-hand three fingers viz., ring finger (left-eye), middle finger (Ājñā chakra) and index finger (right-eye) simultaneously. 6. ॐ ह्रः अस्त्राय फट् । – by uttering this mantra, strike left-hand palm with right-hand index and middle fingers together with Finger snap (sound) after circling head with finger snap. Note: Twice finger snap (sound) should be made, first time while circling head clockwise and second while striking both the fingers with left-hand palm. — इति हृदयादिषडङ्गन्यासः। The above 6 steps is known as Hridiyadhi Nyāsa or Anga Nyāsa or Shadanga Nyāsa.

The word Bhuvaneshvari is a compound of the words Bhuvana Iśwari, meaning “Goddess of the world” or “Queen of the universe”, where the worlds are the tri-bhuvana or three regions of bhūḥ (Earth), bhuvaḥ (atmosphere) and svaḥ (Heavens).
According to the Devi Bhagavata Purana, the goddess offers the five manifestations of the Pancha Prakriti

भुवनेश्वरी सक्ति के मौलिक रूपों में से एक हैं। वह स्वरूप में हैं, जो सरस्वती, लक्ष्मी, दुर्गा, और गायत्री आदि के माध्यम से पाँच प्रकृतियों की हितुक्ति करती हैं। श्रीविद्या उपासना के तत्त्वों को भी वह प्रगट करती हैं। भुवनेश्वरी शब्द का अर्थ “दुनिया की देवी” या “विश्व की रानी” हैं, जहां दुनियाँ त्रिभुवन यानी भूलोक, भुवर्लोक और स्वर्लोक के तीनों क्षेत्र हैं।
देवी भागवत पुराण के अनुसार, इस देवी ने पाँच प्रकृतियों को उपहार दिया हैं: दुर्गा, लक्ष्मी, सरस्वती, गायत्री और गायत्री के बीज मंत्र को जो विद्या, षड-शक्ति, श्रीचक्र, नादबिन्दु और कुण्डलिनी में स्थित हैं। इन्हें स्तुतिवचन करते हुए मैं गीता की गिरिराज उमा द्वारा निर्मित प्रज्ञा गिरि (क्षमा पास) को, जो दूसरों द्वारा नहीं देखी जा सकती हैं, अभिनंदन करती हूँ। अपनी अद्भुत सुंदरता में होने के कारण तुम वाणी हो, जिसमें ब्रह्म साक्षात्कार स्थापित होता हैं।
तुम ही पृथ्वी से उत्पन्न हो वायु में शिखर धरे, जन-विनियोजन और वायुतत्त्व द्वारा सज्जित खेलाड़ी, अपनी शक्ति से देवताओं के साथ पूजित होने परन्तु तुम आराध्यों का उत्कृष्टतम कारण हो। तुम्हारे परमपद के लिए किया जानेवाला दूर्वा, कुचल लाडेने, हयापिंड स्पिष्ट (घी चिढ़कावट के द्वारा) गीत पाठकरने, सीमन्तों में सदैव घूमने, पंडितों की पवित्र धूलि में सदैव परिवर्तन करने वाले तुम ही हो। तुम जीवन की अवधियों में लाभप्रद करने वाली हो। जिन लोगों का चिन्तक सूत्र, तांगा कलश से लिखे हुए स्वयंभू(शिवकी) हाथों से सच्छपट्टी को मैं मन से वाणी द्वारा आवर्तित करती हूँ। भगवती! तुम्हें आस्था प्राप्त हो योगद्वारा या युद्ध से पराजित कर न्यूनतम इन्द्रियों को मन से प्रसन्न करके बाधाओं का आवाहन करने वाली योगिनियों की तुम ही हो।
