ತಮಿಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸನಾತನ ಧರ್ಮವು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯತಿರಿಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದೆ, ಉತ್ತರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಆರ್ಯರು ತಮಿಳನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದರು, ತಮಿಳು ವೇದ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾಕಾವ್ಯ ಪುರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಉತ್ತರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ರಾಜರು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ರಾಜರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲರಾಗಿದ್ದರು, ರಾಜರು ಮತ್ತು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಜನರು ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಉತ್ತರದ ಜನರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಜಾತಿಗಳು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಇತಿಹಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ವಿಭಜನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಭಾರತ ಎಂಬ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು
