Indian texts of yore have advanced scientific concepts.

Vedic texts tend to have minimum three meanings.

The literal meaning,

Information, explanation of Scientific facts and

Esoteric/Tantra, Philosophical insights.

Though the Vedas do not speak of Personal God’s,there are references to it.

Most of these Hymns are allegorical.

However,worship of Gods ,yields results,as Universal consciousness in us manifests as personal God and delivers results in commensurate with our Actions and Intents.

Of the Trinity of Indian pantheon of Gods,Brahma is portrayed vas Manifestor,Vishnu,Sustainer and Rudra as The one who dissolves.

Vishnu symbolises everything Cosmic that Sustains.

Sarvayam Vishnu Mayan Jagat.

Everything manifested in the universe is Vishnu.

The term Vishnu is from the Sanskrit word Jishnu,that which supports.

Vishnu jishnum mahavishnum prabhavishnum maheswaram-Vishnu Sahasranama.

Whatever that Is in the Universe supports Life,each other.

So are the Stars and Galaxies.

We are in the Milky way ,a spiral galaxy,which resembles Lord Vishnu’s Discus.

World is recorded to have evolved from Vishnu Nabhi,The Navel of Vishnu.

‘The source of the radio waves appears to be located almost exactly at the Galactic Center, and may coincide with a super massive black hole. This black hole has the equivalent mass of 4 million suns and is the source of most of the gravitational energy in our galaxy. Thus the Galactic Center is the Sun around which our Sun rotates.
Hinduism understood this connection between Sun and the Galaxy, and used it as a marker for the ascending and descending yuga cycles that are measured by our Earth/Sun relationship to it (ie the pole star alignments at the solstices).

2. Dhanur month, November- December,maaasa,month is the early morning for the celestial beings,Devas,the Beginning of Uttarayana, movement of Sun to Tropic of Cancer.

3. Lord Krishna declares in the Bhagavad-Gita ,that,

Of months,I am Mrigasira’- Vibhuthi Yoga.

4. Yet this month is called Sunya Maasa.

People avoid performing auspicious functions.

Sunya in Sanskrit means ‘Devoid of’

It is generally taken as Zero.

However,in philosophical terms devoid of everything need not be Zero.

Now we know Blackholes gobble up everything and in a sense annihilates.

It is noticed that Sagittarius galaxy contains massive Blackholes,some of them very huge and it is theorized that these giant Blackholes are the link to the evolution of the Universe.

Hindu texts say that Vishnu,from whom the universe manifests is again drawn back into Him.

That is,in modern astronomy,Birth of New Stars after earlier annihilation.

5.Maarghazhi is known as Dhanur masam because
the sun moves in the Dhanur rasi (the constellation of Sagittarius) in this month
That is, the sun rises in Dhanur rasi in this month.
This constellation is in the shape of a bow
held by a half-man who seems to have his lower body as that of a horse.

This area is dotted with massive black holes which gobble up the matter around them.
If in pralaya, all bodies were to get back to the source from which they originated,
then our entire galaxy would some day
get eaten up by this centre.
I used to wonder whether the meaning of
Lord’s name, Krishna: is to do with black holes.
“ThaanE undumindu thaanEAlvaanE” (Nammazhwar) seems to describe the way the blackhole
eats up and Spits(?).

6. Lord Rudra,a manifestation of Shiva is called the one who dissolves.

Curiously this thought seems to be echoed by modern Astronomy.

Lord Nataraja.

The figure of Nataraja is amazing. It is like a whirl of movement.the same archetype of movement we can see in the images of our galaxy, milky way,which belongs toclass of spiral or S galaxies.Limbs and flying matted hair remind spiral arms of the galaxy, and the circle of fire outilines its round boundaries. The face arrest out attention as bright center of star constellation.
On Arudhra day of Dhanur masa , the earth, Sun, and moon are not just in alignment with each other,but they are also in alignment with the centre of the galaxy.

Natarja’s Big Toe is presumed to represent the center of the universe.

It is also stated that Lord Nataraja ‘s big toe is the Centre Point of World ‘s Magnetic Equator.

Chidambaram ,Kanchipuram and Sri Kalahasti lie in a straight line at 79* 41 East Longitude.

7.Nataraja in Orion.

We have the Nazca Lines,Peru, Stonehenge in UK ,Cave arts in France, Germany,Tibet, Romania, Australia and in Karnataka,Tamil Nadu and other parts of India.

We do find sculptures of this type in many temples of India,where one can find Astronaut costumes,UFO like sculptures.

8. Now to Modern Astronomy.

Sagittarius A* (pronounced “Sagittarius A-star”) is the most plausible candidate for the location of the supermassive black hole at the centre of our galaxy.

The black hole at the centre of the Milky Way lies at a distance of 26,000 light years from Earth.

Sgr A can’t be seen in optical wavelengths because it is hidden from view by large dust clouds in the Milky Way’s spiral arms.

However, the size of the object indicates that it would have taken 50 to 100 times more energy than a standard supernova event to form a remnant this wide.

For this reason, the star that exploded in the supernova event is conjectured to have been gravitationally compressed because it had made a close approach to the Milky Way’s central black hole….

Sagittarius A West

The spiral structure Sagittarius A West is sometimes called the “Minispiral” because it appears as a three-arm spiral when observed from Earth.

..Sagittarius A* is believed to be the location of the supermassive black hole in the centre of the Milky Way Galaxy. Astronomers have detected stars orbiting Sgr A* at speeds much greater that those of any other stars in the Milky Way. One of these stars, designated S2, was observed spinning around Sgr A* at speeds of over 5,000 km/s when it made its closest approach to the object.
