Artificial life’ breakthrough announced by scientists.Proof of God?

Scientists in the US have succeeded in developing the first synthetic living cell.

Apart from the ethical implications of this discovery regarding the misuse of the ‘Controlling Synthetic Cell’,which might be programmed to the detriment of the individual and the society, it throws up a question.
The controlling synthetic cell-Does it have Intelligence?,apparently no as it has been assembled or manufactured by from inert objects.
Or if it has we are unable to identify it as such for as our science teaches that only intelligence can produce things.
One may say that the producer of Synthetic intelligence, namely man has intelligence and he is responsible and not the synthetic cell per se.
If it were to be so does it logical to say that an intelligent being like Man needs an Intelligent Being to Create him?
Alternately That which has created everything is not knowable from our standpoint or it is of such Intelligence we can not comprehend It just as we assume that the cells and the synthetic cells can not comprehend us.
