Time does appear to stand still when drunk.But after waking up?
Misspent youth brings in nostalagia of enjoyment of youth with drinks ;also it brings with it what could have been other wise.
The struggle to be or not to be is highlighted by drinks.
Any way, joy at at one point , of time is sorrow at another frame of reference..
But,what the hell! we live only once, we may as well explore,but within limits to avoid regrets later.
