  • Yonaguni Ruins Remains of Lemuria Tamils?

    was not the same in ancient times.

    When I say ancient,I mean older by more than between 50,000 to 💯 000 years.

    The vast difference between the time frame mentioned is because of the inadequacy of Carbon dating method in determining objects which are over fifty thousand years old or more.

    And the use of other Scientific tools like Tectonic shift,ocean floor mapping,Strata analysis, infrared dating of Rocks, verification of Geogyphs,geoglyphology.

    When one finds ancient ruins around the world ,each of them quite far off from the other,the legends and literature of divergent cultures having some thing in common,the seacoasts,

    the unearthing of archeological finds of similar nature,one can not but wonder whether these were related!

    The land of Atlantis being referred to in ancient Indian texts,..

    Now evidence of this civilisation in Japan.

    (Curiously it is very difficult to find the origin of Japanese people.)

    And if we go through the ancient continents, Pangaea,Rodina,and ancient oceans like Tethys ocean,one can find the floods mentioned in Puranas,Tamil classics are validated.

    And further the Fist Man Manu,as stated in the ancient texts,was from Dravida Desa and he meditated near Madagascar.

    The ruins of Poompuhar and of the remains of Yonaguni,Japan seems to have similarities.

    According to Kimura, the Yonaguni monument appears to depict carvings of animals and people as well as the remnants of a carved face, which he compares to the Moai heads on Easter Island. At the end of the last ice age, Yonaguni would have been connected to what is now mainland China. It is likely that the fate of the civilization that built the Yonaguni pyramid, was sealed by a massive tectonic event that triggered a tsunami and subsequent sea level rise.

    Since the end of the last Ice Age, sea levels have risen some 40 meters, causing drastic changes in topography and lending credibility to the theory that there may have been cities or even continents that disappeared into the sea. Based on stalactite found in caves near the ruins, Kimura has calculated the Yonaguni pyramid to be at least 6,000 years old when it sank, with the potential to be up to 10,000 years old including the time prior to flooding. The oldest recorded flooding event at Yonaguni occurred in the late 1700s, during which a tsunami ravaged the island with 130 foot waves. This combination of sea level rise and catastrophic climatic events were likely the cause of this ancient city’s demise….

    An interesting discovery has been made when looking at the orientation of the angles in the Yonaguni ruins. One researcher believes that the radial lines, when extended out from the ruins, might potentially outline a territory in the Pacific. This theory employs geoglyphology, or the study of coded maps and messaging in ancient geoglyphs, and has drawn out the radial lines of the Yonaguni ruins. The Faram Research Foundation’s work shows lines that depict a map very similar to the territory sought after by Japan during WWII.

    The area extends from Yonaguni and the South China Sea, up to the tip of Alaska’s archipelago, down to Hawaii and back over encompassing Indonesia and Burma (Myanmar). This territory, some believe, could be that which was occupied by the lost continent of Mu, a lost civilization larger and older than Atlantis.

    THE LOST CONTINENT OF MU

    The lost civilization of Mu, is thought to have spanned a large swath of the Pacific Ocean. Reaching from the Philippines Sea all the way to Easter Island, Mu would have encompassed most of the small islands in the mid-Pacific, including Guam, Fiji, Christmas Island, Midway and Hawaii. The conception of Mu was first proposed by Augustus LePlongeon in the 19th century who was the first explorer to photographically document the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza. It was there that he supposedly learned of the lost continent of Mu through his translation of the ancient Mayan Troano Codex.

    Human History To be Rewritten Six Pre Historic Mu Lemuria Rama Atlantis Uyghur Hyperborean

    The period belonging to recorded history seems to a revisit.

    This is because of new archeological findings that predate recorded history and one finds a lot of anomalies in regard to our advancements in almost every field.

    Things that were there during that period should not be there ,going by our recorded history.

    The Wheel was used during the Period of Ramayana,Mahabharatha and even much earlier according to Indian texts.

    Chariots were used.

    Advanced concepts in Physics,Chmistry,Biology,Astronomy,Quantum Theory are found in Indians texts,along with Atomic theory and  theories in almost all disciplines and practical applications of theories in building Aircrafts,Radar,Space Suits,diet for Astronauts.

    I have written on each of these.

    And there is ample evidence to prove the existence of UFOs,UMOs(unidentified marine objects,classified data released by the then USSR.

    On UFOs,the released classified filed from the US are voluminous,including the testimony of Apollo Astronaut.

    Then there is Area B51 in the US which is a secret location and A BBC crew was arrested for trying to enter the area.

    There are proven UFO sightings.

    I have written on these,under UFO,Astrophysics.

    And there is this instance of US troops disappearing in Afghanisthan,while investigating the remains of an ancient Vimana,Aircraft.

    There is a tunnel from Mount Kailash to Iraq,through Romania.

    Three stone platforms were found,in one ,one can find his life flashing by,in another the sky map appears.

    Nobody is able to understand the Third Table.

    Then we have Anamolies,

    Human history,

    Science Anamoloies,

    Artifacts,

    Time travel anomalies,

    I shall be writing on each of these in detail.

    I shall be examining the Civilizations of the world of prehistoric times.

    Civilizations do not develop overnight.

    They take thousands of years.

    The same with languages//literature.

    And when we speak of ancient times,We should remember that the landmass then was different from what it is today.

    There were Super Continents,Rodina,Pangea,Lemuria ,Atlantis.

    The effort to discredit Atlantis and Lemuria has come to nought,with archeological and geological evidences surfacing and with advanced dating tools like infra red dating and Plate tectonics studies.

    We also must remember that Ocean floor is not explored even by ten percent!

    Amazon is explored only by 10 percent.

    We can not understand how marine beings could live under the oceans,miles deep,with water pressure crushing everything.

    As to Stars,We are yet to understand the Magnitude of the Universe.

    The known Universe is of Matter made of Atoms in the conventional sense.

    That is Electron with negative charge,proton with positive charge and neutron,neutral.

    Now we find that there is anti matter,which has these three with Electron with positive charge,Proton with Negative charge and Netron,Neutral.

    Then we have Quantum Theory.

    An atom is present in more than one place at the same time.

    Your perception of an object,atom,changes it,and it also changes your perception of it.

    Atoms communicate with each other at long distances.

    Very scarce information is available on Magnetism,Gravity and Time.

    Such bein the real case our knowledge is very limited and we should not abrogate ourselves into believing what we know now is the truth or facts.

    Considering these points,one must be prepared to look for additional sources of Knowledge,including Intuition,theories of Interstellar visit of Aliens,Aliens manipulating our DNA.

    And we should also examine the  circumstances leading to the Great Flood mentioned in all mythologies and almost all legends.

    Unless we can disprove them,they are data to be verified.

    What has been dismissed as legend, myth is proved to be fact.

    For example,Ramayana,Mahabharata,Krishna,Dwaraka,Madurai,Poompuhar,Tamil Sandals..

    I shall be attempting to understand these issues in forthcoming articles by verifying all these thoughts with the help of modern technics and wherever it is called for with Intution and from Authentic sources where most facts are verifiable except some areas,which may be due to our limitations in understanding.

    To begin with I will start with the first prehistoric civilizations.

  • Improbable Is Possible Sanatana Dharma Tamil World History

    I have been researching India,its History,Sanatana Dharma,Hinduism for the past eight years.

    I have been referring Indian texts in Sanskrit,Tamil and English (these languages I know a bit).

    My search was triggered by anamolies in Indian History and culture in the prescribed text books.

    ‘Considering these facts,( I have written detailed articles on each point mentioned here),I have been pursuing my studies and I am stuck with some startling, seemingly improbable facts.

    Nothing is Improbable because I do not understand it,

    I shall be writing a series with evidence on some of my conclusions, which might border on Wild imagination to plain Crazy!

    So the idea that One could see the world with a small device in one’s palm and communicate.!’

    When checked with resources from ancient Indian texts,foreign literature not being referred to in our curricula,archaeology,Astronomy,Astro-archeaology,Philology,Linguistics,Racial theories,Geology, and the past cultures of the world and their religion and legends,I found,

    1. Bharatvarsha existed as explained in Indian Texts,
    2. The events, characters are real,
    3. Bharatvarsha extended throughout the world,
    4. Rama and Krishna were real.
    5. Rama’s name is found  in Kings List of Sumeria, along with Dasaratha and Bharatha.
    6. Rama is referred to in Atlantis Legends.
    7. Rama Tribe is found in Africa.
    8. Ramas Chapel in Iraq.
    9. Egyptian Pharoahs wore Vaishnav marks on thier body.
    10. Australian Aborigines perform Shiva Trinetra Dance even today.
    11. Ancient Tamil is spoken ,even now in Cameroon.
    12. Hindu thoughts were prevalent in Greece much before the arrival of Alexander in India.
    13. Pillars of Herules was dedicated to Krishna.
    14. Krishna Balarama and Shiva were worshipped in ancient Greece.
    15. Tamil Siddha Bhogar is found in South America.
    16. Agastya is found New Zealand.
    17. Rig Veda was compiled in the Arctic.
    18. Pradhyumna, son of Lord Krishna founded the Port city Port Barzhyn in Russia.
    19. Russia has Vedas called Perun,Perun Santis and they were nine in number.
    20. Siberians worship Ayur Devathas of Hinduism even today.
    21. Lake Baikal was Indra’s Amravathi.
    22. Kaikeyi was born in Russia.
    23. Russian language is very close to Sanskrit.
    24. Saptha Rivers, that is seven rivers as explained in Indian Texts are found in Russia.
    25. Yagnyavalka, the Sage who gave Shukla Yajur Veda lived in Russia.
    26. Caspian Sea was Kashyap Sagar.
    27. River Danube was named after Dhanu, mother of Dhanavas.
    28. Rig Vedic Mandala city is found in Arkaim, Russia.
    29. Russia was called Sthree( Women) Varsha and was a Republic.
    30. Petra Jordan Has a Shiva Temple.
    31. Arabia was Aravasthan.
    32. King Vikramaditya ruled the region.
    33. His edict is found in Kaaba.
    34. Muhammad’s Uncle wrote Siva Stuthi.
    35. Shiva Linga is in Meccan and Islam follows Vedic rituals at Kaaba.
    36. Ancient Arabians followed Tamil customs.
    37. Tamil kings extended their kingdoms to middle and far east.
    38. Cilappadikaram Nedunchezhiyan ,Pandya King was called Nebuchadnezzar I.
    39. Yadavs migrated to Israel and are the ancestors of Jews.
    40. Hittie,Elamite,Hurian,Sumerian,Minoan civilizations trace their roots to Tamils.

    I have received a few comments on some of my articles which date some temple, events a long way back.

    I have written that,

    Thiruvannamalai,Tamil Nadu is 3.94 Billion Years old,

    Tirupati 2100 Million Years old,

    A Million year old site found in Chennai indicated the presence of Tamil Civilization,

    Jwalapuram, Cuddapah,Telengana is 74,000 Yeas old,

    Poompuhar , Tamil Nadu, which has been dated 20,000 year back had advanced Tamil Civilization,

    Million Year old Kannada Brahmi  script has been found in Karnataka,

    120 Million year old  3 D Map has been found.

    Kailash Iraq Romania interconnected tunnels

    These are some of the articles and I have not listed all the articles which predate our known History   or what we have been taught a History.

    Below is a comment on one of the articles.

    ‘I don’t think temples can be dated as 3.94 Billion years orTirupati 2100 million years. These could be ages of rocks where the temples were built! That far back in time man had not come into the picture!

    Common refrain of most of the comments are,

    1.Human Being did not exist in the time frame mentioned in some of my articles.

    2.Many of the artifacts mentioned in my article could not have been in existence(?) because it conflicts with  the known Ice Age, Iron Age, Copper Age and Bronze Age.

    3.Fact mentioned in my article areMyths and they are not scientifically validated.

    I would like to rercord my coments on the dates assigned to them.

    a)The dates assigned to Homo Spaiens are arrived at mainly on the basis of. human skeletons,remains,living quarters,rock/cave paintings,fossils available .

    These have been dated through Carbon dating in the case of fossils,places and landmarks/rocks.

    Carbon dating becomes useless for periods going back greater than 50,0000 yeras.Please read my article on Carbon dating.

    2.Infra red dating is used for other evidnece, and in some cases for even the skeletons and land mass.

    3.Geology is used to determine the dates for determing the dates of mountains and rocks.

    The point is Carbon dating can not determine the dates beyound 5000 years ago.

    Infra read and geologiocal dating can determine the total mass available for examination and not the specific part.

    That is let us say we have a rock.The rock sample may be dated by this method .

    It can not date the indents in the rock , say a Foor print.

    Average is arrived about the age of the material, taking into account the various factors in various parts of the sample and the factors foud in various parts neede not be the same.So an average is arrived at.

    More over ther atmospheric conditions existing, had existed have to be taken into acoount as also the changes in the atmosphere due to spots, Atomic blasts, which we know had happened.

    So if  we have a rock sample dated at 500 BC, it is best an educated guess , not a confirmed case beyond doubt.

    This is due to inadequacies of the technology involved.

    The same drawback is present is the other tools of dating like Infra Red, which have inbulit restrictions on.

    Hence the dates we now have are at best gueses based on information not fully correct.

    On the other hand how doesw one determine the various ages ?

    It is based on the available evidenc validated by these tools mentioned above.

    These tools as I have pointed out are not perfect and hence the verified information is not 100 % correct.

    STONE AGE.

    ‘The Stone Age is contemporaneous with the evolution of the genus Homo, the only exception possibly being at the very beginning, when species prior to Homo may have manufactured tools.[3] According to the age and location of the current evidence, the cradle of the genus is the East African Rift System, especially toward the north in Ethiopia, where it is bordered by grasslands. The rift served as a conduit for movement into southern Africa and also north down the Nile into North Africa and through the continuation of the rift in the Levant to the vast grasslands of Asia.

    Starting from about 4 million years ago (mya) a single biome established itself from South Africa through the rift, North Africa, and across Asia to modern China, which has been called “transcontinental ‘savannahstan’” recently.[4] Starting in the grasslands of the rift, Homo erectus, the predecessor of modern humans, found an ecological niche as a tool-maker and developed a dependence on it, becoming a “tool equipped savanna dweller.”[5]‘

    Stone age is first accepted r e corded History of Mankind and Homo Erectus is supposed to have evolved then.

    During 2010, fossilised animal bones bearing marks from stone tools were found in the Lower Awash Valley in Ethiopia. Discovered by an international team led by Shannon McPherron, at 3.4 million years old they are the oldest indirect evidence of stone tool use ever found anywhere in the world.[2] Archaeological discoveries in Kenya in 2015, identifying possibly the oldest known evidence of hominin use of tools to date, have indicated that Kenyanthropus platyops ( a 3.2 to 3.5-million-year-old Pliocene hominin fossil discovered in Lake Turkana, Kenya in 1999 ) may have been the earliest tool-users known.[6]

    The oldest known stone tools have been excavated from the site of Lomekwi 3 in West Turkana, northwestern Kenya, and date to 3.3 million years old.[7] Prior to the discovery of these “Lomekwian” tools, the oldest known stone tools had been found at several sites at Gona, Ethiopia, on the sediments of the paleo-Awash River, which serve to date them. All the tools come from the Busidama Formation, which lies above a disconformity, or missing layer, which would have been from 2.9 to 2.7 mya. The oldest sites containing tools are dated to 2.6–2.55 mya.[8] One of the most striking circumstances about these sites is that they are from the Late Pliocene, where previous to their discovery tools were thought to have evolved only in the Pleistocene. Rogers and Semaw, excavators at the locality, point out that:‘

    Bronze and Copper Age.

    The Bronze Age is a period characterized by the use of bronze, proto-writing, and other early features of urban civilization. The Bronze Age is the second principal period of the three-age Stone-Bronze-Iron system, as proposed in modern times by Christian Jürgensen Thomsen, for classifying and studying ancient societies.

    An ancient civilization is defined to be in the Bronze Age either by smelting its own copper and alloying with tin, arsenic, or other metals, or by trading for bronze from production areas elsewhere. Copper-tin ores are rare, as reflected in the fact that there were no tin bronzes in Western Asia before trading in bronze began in the third millennium BC. Worldwide, the Bronze Age generally followed the Neolithic period, with the Chalcolithic serving as a transition. Although the Iron Age generally followed the Bronze Age, in some areas (such as Sub-Saharan Africa), the Iron Age intruded directly on the Neolithic from outside the region.[1]

    Bronze Age cultures differed in their development of the first writing. According to archaeological evidence, cultures in Mesopotamia (cuneiform) and Egypt (hieroglyphs) developed the earliest viable writing systems.’

    It maybe noted that Vecic period,Mesopotamia,,Anatolia,Caucasus,Egyptian civilizations Have been taken into account.

    The assigned date on these studies for the Vedas is around 1800 BC!

    This despite the fact that Lord Rama’s date has been proved at 5114 BC.

    And consider these facts.

    Thiruvannamalai,TamilNadu,India has been dated at around 3.94 billion years.

    Tirupati is dated around 2100 million years.

    JWALAPURAM,Cuaddapah ,India is dated 74,000years ago.

    Kalpa Vigraha of Vishnu.

    Radiocarbon (C14) dating conducted by the University of California Radiation Laboratory on the heavy 9-inch thick timber sides and lid of the chest in which it was discovered arrived at readings that indicated a period around 26,450 BCE. 

    That would make it over 28,450 years old today, and about 23,300 years older than the legendary Hindu Kurukshetra war. 

    The idol was also tested by experts who concluded that it was the oldest Hindu idol in existence.’

    The Human foot Print in Tirupati is Man_made and is dated around 2100 million years.

    Apart from this records of Mu Civilization,Mayan and Aztec Civilizations have SAnatana Dharma/ Tamil connection and these were the ancestors of these civilizations.

    Then we have geologiacl proof based on tectonic plates movements that confirm the super continents of Rodina,Pangeaand others.

    Interesting fact is that these land masses were described in the Hindu texts in detail.

    Not only this..

    The flora and fauna described in Hindu texts confirm the details found in the study of these super continents.

    Then we have refernces to Lord Rama engaged in war with the Atlantic people.

    There were four Empires during the period of Rama.

    They were,

    Atlantis,

    Uighur,

    Rama and 

    Lemuria.

    Details of Lemuria abound in Tamil Classics and the Lemurian Continent dates back to thousands of years and these texts auote the Ramayana.

    This means that Ramayana and Mahabharata took place much earlier.

    Mahabharata took place  in Dwapara Yuga.

    The Time Scale of Hindus.


    The Viṣṇu Purāṇa Time measurement section of the Viṣṇu Purāṇa Book I Chapter III explains the above as follows:

    • 2 Ayanas (6-month periods, see above) = 1 human year or 1 day of the devas
    • 4,000 + 400 + 400 = 4,800 divine years (= 1,728,000 human years) = 1 Satya Yuga
    • 3,000 + 300 + 300 = 3,600 divine years (= 1,296,000 human years) = 1 Tretā Yuga
    • 2,000 + 200 + 200 = 2,400 divine years (= 864,000 human years) = 1 Dvāpara Yuga
    • 1,000 + 100 + 100 = 1,200 divine years (= 432,000 human years) = 1 Kali Yuga
    • 12,000 divine year = 4 Yugas (= 4,320,000 human years) = 1 Mahā-Yuga (also is equaled to 12000 Daiva (divine) Yuga)
    • [2*12,000 = 24,000 divine year = 12000 revolutions of sun around its dual]

    For BrahmaEdit

    • 1000 Mahā-Yugas = 1 Kalpa = 1 day (day only) of Brahma

    (2 Kalpas constitute a day and night of Brahma, 8.64 billion human years)

    • 30 days of Brahma = 1 month of Brahma (259.2 billion human years)
    • 12 months of Brahma = 1 year of Brahma (3.1104 trillion human years)
    • 50 years of Brahma = 1 Parārdha
    • 2 parardhas = 100 years of Brahma = 1 Para = 1 Mahā-Kalpa (the lifespan of Brahma) (311.04 trillion human years)

    One day of Brahma is divided into 1000 parts called charaṇas.’

    More and more archelogical evidence is piling up to prove Humans existed much earlier than the Stone Age.

    Considering all these facts mentioned in Hindu Texts being validated by Science,it is surprising that Hindu texts are called Myths and theacademicians refuse to consider to revise the date of Indian History.

    Of late I have been researching into the connection between Tamil and Sanatana Dharma, though I have posted a few articles on the subject earlier.

     

    I have been able to confirm to myself the following.

     

    1.The Tamil, Dravida and the Sanatan Dharma were closely connected and people were interacting with each other.

    I have been able to check the dates and events with the help of Astronomical Data found in Tamil and Sanskrit Literature,Vedas, Puranas, Ramayana and Mahabharata.

     

    This has been done with the help of Star Canopus, called Agasthya, mentioned in Tamil Classics and Sanskrit.

     

    I wanted to cross verify this with the help of references found on Time in the Rig Veda.

     

    Rig Veda , the earliest literature known to Man speaks of Time as a Wheel, thereby denoting that Time is Cyclic.

    rvs.1.164.2:-
    RV_1,164.02a sapta yuñjanti ratham ekacakram eko aśvo vahati saptanāmā |
    RV_1,164.02c trinābhi cakram ajaram anarvaṃ yatremā viśvā bhuvanādhi tasthuḥ ||

    Seven {sapta} are yoked {yuñjanti} to the Chariot {ratham} with a single-wheel {ekacakram} and a single horse {eko aśvo} with seven people (seven names) {saptanāmā} inside it. The wheel has three navels {trinābhi}. It is ageless {ajaram} and un-decaying {anarvam}. On it are staying {tasthuh} all the beings of the world {viśvā bhuvanādhi}.

    The seven yoked entities mentioned here represents the seven days of the week constituting the first quarter of a fortnight. It is also represented in Epics and Puranas as the seven horses of the Chariot of Surya (the Sun) alluding to the seven rays of the sun (seven colors in sunlight). The seven people who rides the chariot could be an indirect references to the Seven Sages (Saptarshis). The Chariot here represent the Sun whose apparent motion in Earth’s sky is what facilitates the time measurements done using the wheel of time. The Chariot could also represents the constellation of the seven stars (Big Dipper;- Saptarshi constellation) which also helps to measure long units of time.

    The ‘navel’ of the wheel mentioned here represents ‘gear’. Thus the wheel is envisaged as a machinery with three gears to change the three levels of time measurement using the same wheel of time viz. 1) hours in the day, 2) months and seasons in the year and 3) twelve zodiacal ages and four (or eight) Yugas in the Great Year (axial precession period, 25,776 years). The beings of the world depends on this wheel since the daily, yearly and precessional changes in the time indicated by this wheel of time affect all beings.

     

    rvs.1.164.3:-
    RV_1,164.03a imaṃ ratham adhi ye sapta tasthuḥ saptacakraṃ sapta vahanty aśvāḥ |
    RV_1,164.03c sapta svasāro abhi saṃ navante yatra gavāṃ nihitā sapta nāma ||

    In this Chariot {ratham}, resides {tasthuh} the seven {sapta}. It has seven-wheels {saptachakram} and is driven by seven horses {sapta vahanty aśvāḥ}. The Seven sisters { sapta svasāro} praises the Cow {gavāṃ} and the seven people (seven names) {sapta nāma}.

    This verse again describes the Seven Sages (Seven Names) residing in the Chariot (the Sun) this time mentioned as having seven horses (like in Epics and Puranas) and as having seven wheels. The Seven Sisters represent river Sarasvati and the nearby rivers and is a theme repeated in Vedas. The Cow represents the Year. The significance of seven wheels is unknown. It could mean the seven zodiacal ages that had elapsed during the composition of this hymn.

     

    rvs.1.164.11:-
    RV_1,164.11a dvādaśāraṃ nahi taj jarāya varvarti cakram pari dyām ṛtasya |
    RV_1,164.11c ā putrā agne mithunāso atra sapta śatāni viṃśatiś ca tasthuḥ ||by length of time,

    By Universal-Order {ṛtasya} this wheel {cakram} of time having twelve-spokes {dvādaśāraṃ} revolves {varvarti} in the sky {dyām}, without ever weakening or aging {nahi taj jarāya}. O Agni {agne}, On it stays, in pairs {mithunāso}, 720 sons {putrā}.

    The word Rta, means Universal Order, Universal Law, the Laws of Physics or the Laws of Cosmology. Here the wheel is mentioned as having twelve spokes, to measure out twelve months in a year and twelve ages in a Great Year (25,776 years). The strange number 720 mentioned here as number of sons attached to the wheel is interesting. As per Graham Hancock this could mean the 72 years taken by the wheel to move 1 degrees (71.6 approximated as 72). However 720 is also twice 360. The meaning here thus represent 720 spokes which are paired, each spoke representing 1/2 degree (36 years) and a pair of spokes representing 1 degree (72 years).

    Similarly in a human lineage, if 720 sons are born at an interval of 36 years (ie father begets a sun at his 36th age, on an average) then the total duration would be 720 x 36 = 25920 years, very close to the precession period of 25,776 yeas. Due to this simplicity, the number 72, its half 36 and its half 18 with or without zeros are frequently found in the Vedas, Epics and Puranas. Similarly the multiples of 72 like 144, 216, 432 with or without zeros too are found. Besides 36 + 72 = 108 is a very special number in ancient Indian traditions.

    The number of Parvas in Mahabharata is 18; number of days Kurukshetra War is fought is 18. The time gap between Kurukshetra War and submergence of Dwaraka is 36. Duration of ChaturYuga mentioned in Shanti Parva of Mahabharata is 4,320,000.

     

    rvs.1.164.48:-
    RV_1,164.48a dvādaśa pradhayaś cakram ekaṃ trīṇi nabhyāni ka u tac ciketa |
    RV_1,164.48c tasmin sākaṃ triśatā na śaṅkavo ‘rpitāḥ ṣaṣṭir na calācalāsaḥ ||

    Twelve {dvādaśa} are the major-spokes {pradhayaś}, and the wheel {cakram} is single {ekaṃ}; three {trīṇi} are the naves {nabhyā}. Who hath understood it {ka u tac ciketa}?
    On it are set together 360 spokes, which cannot be loosened {na calācalāsaḥ}.

    Here the Wheel of Time with 12 spokes to define 12 zodiac signs is mentioned as having 360 sub-spokes for measuring each each day of the year and each degree of movement of Vernal Equinox in every 72 years. It is mentioned as having three naves (gears of modes of operation, to measure hours in a day, months in a year and zodiacal ages in a Great Year). The verse generate curiosity in the mind of reader or reciter asking if they have any understanding of it.

    Rig Veda also mentions frequently about the Cow and the Calf when it discusses about the wheel of time. Cow represent a year and Calf the residual time that is left which needs adding of few days after the expiry of few years to correct the calender. This residue is a by product of approximation of the year as 360 days, 365 days, 365.25 days or as 365.2522 days. Hence the year is rightly called the Cow and the residue the Calf.

    Eg:- RV_1,164.05c (the yearling Calf {vatsa}); RV_1,164.09c the Calf {vatsa} lowed, and looked upon the Mother, the Cow.

     

    References of the Wheel of Time in Mahabharata are subsequent to those found in the Vedas. They often supplement the references in the Vedas and increase their clarity.

    Three hundred and sixty cows represented by three hundred and sixty days produce one calf between them which is the year. That calf is the creator and destroyer of all. Seekers of truth following different routes, draw the milk of true knowledge with its help. Ye Aswins, ye are the creators of that calf!

    The 360 cows thus represents 360 degrees and erroneously to 360 days in a year. The calf represent the residual time to complete one year. The residue in case of 360 days will be 5 days, in case of 365 days will be 1/4 day, in case of 365.25 days will be 11 minutes and so on and this chase will lead one to the secret knowledge about the precession of equinox and the wheel of time.
