  • Manojava Is Tachyon Particle Faster Than Light Mundaka Upanishad

We have a popular sloka of Anjaneya thus,

    Tachyon .Image.gif
Tachyon. Because a tachyon would always move faster than light, it would not be possible to see it approaching. After a tachyon has passed nearby, we would be able to see two images of it, appearing and departing in opposite directions. The black line is the shock wave of Cherenkov radiation, shown only in one moment of time. This double image effect is most prominent for an observer located directly in the path of a superluminal object (in this example a sphere, shown in grey). The right hand bluish shape is the image formed by the blue-doppler shifted light arriving at the observer—who is located at the apex of the black Cherenkov lines—from the sphere as it approaches. The left-hand reddish image is formed from red-shifted light that leaves the sphere after it passes the observer. Because the object arrives before the light, the observer sees nothing until the sphere starts to pass the observer, after which the image-as-seen-by-the-observer splits into two—one of the arriving sphere (to the right) and one of the departing sphere (to the left) “Tachyon04s” by TxAlien at en.wikipedia – Transferred from en.wikipedia to Commons by User:Sumanch.. Sanskrit Dictionary gives the following meaning.

मनोजव manojava adj. swift as thought
मनोजव manojava m. speed or swiftness of thought

Vedas have determined the Speed of Light accurately.

Please read my post on this.

Such being the case the reference to ‘Speed more than Mind’ is intriguing.

Reason is that Vedic people have studied Gravity and have treatise on this.

I searched and found the following answer.

Seven flickering tongues of the fire(light/energy).
Those are Kaali (black one), Karaali (terrific one), Manojava (swift as the mind), Sulohita (the deep red), Sudhumravarna (the smoke-coloured), Sphulligini (sparkling) and the Viswa-Rupi or the Viswaruchi (having all forms).
Whoever performs his Karmas (Agnihotra etc.), when these flames are shining and in proper time, then these oblations lead him through the rays of the sun to where the one lord of the Deva dwells.

    Chapter II  Mundaka Upanishad.

    1. This is That, the Truth of things: works which the sages beheld in the Mantras [=The inspired verses of the Veda] were in the Treta [=The second of the four ages] manifoldly extended. Works do ye perform religiously with one passion for the Truth; this is your road to the heaven of good deeds.

    2. When the fire of the sacrifice is kindled and the flame sways and quivers, then between the double pourings of butter cast therein with faith thy offerings.

    3. For he whose altar-fires are empty of the new-moon offering and the full-moon offering and the offering of the rains and the offering of the first fruits, or unfed, or fed without right ritual, or without guests or without the dues to the Vishwa-Devas, destroys his hope of all the seven worlds.

    4. Kali, the black, Karali, the terrible, Manojava, thought-swift, Sulohita, blood-red, Sudhumravarna, smoke-hued, Sphulingini, scattering sparks, Vishwaruchi, the all-beautiful, these are the seven swaying tongues of the fire.

    5. He who in these when they are blazing bright performs the rites, in their due season, him his fires of sacrifice take and they lead him, these rays of the sun, there where the Overlord of the Gods is the Inhabitant on high.

    6. “Come with us”, “Come with us”, they cry to him, these luminous fires of sacrifice and they bear him by the rays of the sun speaking to him pleasant words of sweetness, doing him homage, “This is your holy world of Brahman and the heaven of your righteousness.”

The properties described for Manojava are same as for Tachyon, which travels faster than light and its speed is equal to that of human mind.
In modern science, Tachyon, (pron.: /ˈtæki.ɒn/) (term in use since 1967) is a hypothetical faster-than-light particle.
In the 1967 paper that coined the term, Gerald Feinberg proposed that tachyonic particles could be quanta of a quantum field with negative squared mass.”

    Gravity does affect the time.

That is the reason why satellites are adjusted

The difference on a GPS satellite can be quite significant and hence the clocks on these satellites are constantly readjusted.

A black hole has enormous gravitational pull, strong enough to even hold the light in it, and nothing can escape a black hole.  Escape velocity from the weak earth’s gravity is about 7 miles per second.  Light travels at about 186282 miles per second.  Even this velocity is not enough to get light out of the gravitational pull of a black hole.  The only thing we know that is capable of travelling faster than light, is a quantum particle called Tachyon.  Even this has been described in the Mandukya Upanishad as Manojava.  The characteristics of both objects and particles are uncannily similar. Varahamihira described what could only be a gravitational force when he said, that there must be a force that keeps object stuck on the surface of the earth.

    Tachyon.

A tachyon /ˈtæki.ɒn/ or tachyonic particle is a hypothetical particle that always moves faster than light. The word comes from theGreek: ταχύ or tachy /ˈtɑːxi/, meaning “swift, quick, fast, rapid”, and was coined in 1967 by Gerald Feinberg.[1] The complementary particle types are called luxon (always moving at the speed of light) and bradyon (always moving slower than light), which both exist. The possibility of particles moving faster than light was first proposed by Bilaniuk, Deshpande, and George Sudarshan in 1962, although the term they used for it was “meta-particle.

  • Rig Veda Calculates Speed Of Light

I have posted an article on how the Vedas have talked about the velocity of light.

I now provide the details how the velocity of Light was calculated.

    Speed of Light.jpg.

“Yojananam Dwe Dwe Shate Dwe Cha Yojane Aken Nimishardhena Krammana Namostute”-Rig Veda (I,50-4)

Sunlight moves 2202 Yojanas in half Nimisha.

Distance Traveled by Light 2202 Yojana.

One Yojana -9 miles appx., 110 Yards,21,144.705 Miles.

    Time taken -Half Nimisha .114286seconds.

    Speed of Light=185,016.169 miles/second.

Current Value for Velocity of Light-1,86,282.397 Miles.

Another Calculation based on the same Suktha.

Definition of Nimisha based on Srimad Bhagavatha.

    15 Nimisha = 1 Kashtha
    30 Kashth = 1 Kaal ( 30 * 15 Nimisha = 450 Nimisha)
    30 Kaala = 1 Muhurta ( 450 * 30 Nimisha = 13500 Nimisha)
    30 Muhurta = 1 Ahoratar ( 13500 * 30 Nimisha = 405000 Nimisha)
    1 Ahoratra = 1 Day (24 Hours)

    1 Day = 24 * 60 * 60 Seconds = 86400 Seconds

    86400 Seconds = 405000 Nimish

    1 Second = 4.69 Nimish
    1 Nimish = .214 Second

3X10^8 m/s upto two significant digits a value quite accurate as we know it today.
A Nmisha is therefore equal to 16/75 seconds. It does come very close to the correct figure of 186,000 miles per second.”

    * Values are approximate.

  • Rig Veda Speed Of Light Precise Than Modern Science

I have my son’s friend, who is also my friend, is in Australia(most of my son’s friends are my friends too< despite two decades difference in Ages).

On Reading one of my posts on the predictions of Hinduism especially n regard to Technology, he remarked,

“We have a habit of saying, after a New Thought in Modern Science has been brought forth, we say that it is already there in Hinduism and never say

that before the discovery of new theories and if we are serious about our heritage, we should say what all have been said in our texts much before the

    present day findings.

I replied that  agree and the reason people do nt know about our findings s that we do no read our texts and some of our thoughts look outrageous ,

especially on Astrophysics, Time, we tend to call them as Fantasies!

    Speed of Lght In RigVeda
Rig Veda on Speed of Light. Image Credit. http://brahmanisone.blogspot.in/2009/08/speed-of-light-from-sayana-bhashya.html

Also that one of the purposes of Ramanis’ blog is to post as much information as I know on these subjects.

There is also another accusation about Hinduism that People interpolate facts in the ancient texts and say that the modern findings are found in our

    texts.

Untrue; wherever possible I have been provoking texts to prove that there is no interpolation.

I am posting now on the Speed of Light as found in the Rig Veda.

This s also doubted that there is an interpolation.

    I shall disprove this.

“Sayana ,Sāyaṇācārya  1315- 1387) was an important commentator on the Vedas. He flourished under King Bukka I and his successor Harihara II,

in the Vijayanagar Empire of South India.

He was the son of Māyaṇa, and the pupil of Vishnu Sarvajna and of Samkarananda.

More than a hundred works are attributed to him, among which are commentaries on nearly all parts of the Veda; some were carried out by his pupils, and some were written in conjunction with his brother Mādhava or Vidyāraṇya-svāmin

    .

Hs works were edited by Max Mueller.

Whale commenting on The Rig Veda, Sayana explains about the Speed/Velocity of Light’

    Regarding Speed of Light:

There are 2 quotes. I will try to reproduce as given in the book:

    taraNirvishvadarshato jyotiShk^Ridasi sUrya | vishvamAbhAsi rochanam |

Oh Sun! (You) overwhelm all in speed, visible to all, source of light. (You) shine pervading the Universe.

tathA cha smaryata yojanAnAM sahasram dve dve shate dve cha yojane | ekena nimiShArdhena kramamANa namo&stu te ||

It is remembered (that) Salutations to Thee (sun), the traveller of 2.202 yojanas in half a nimiSha.

    Source:

    Rg-veda-samhitA, maNDalam 1, sUktam 50, mantraH 4 (6000 DCE) sAyanAchArya’s commentary (14th century AD)

“tatha ca smaryate yojananam. sahasre dve dve sate dve ca yojane ekena nimishardhena kramaman”
    तथा च स्मर्यते योजनानां सहस्त्रं द्वे द्वे शते द्वे च योजने एकेन निमिषार्धेन क्रममाण नमोऽस्तुते॥
“[O Sun,] bow to you, you who traverse 2,202 yojanas in half a nimesha.”.
    Explaining this,
Vartak in his Scientific Knowledge in the Vedas (1995, p. 95).[3]

    • 1 yojana is said to comprise either 4 or 8 krosha (a cry or shout, or the range of the voice in calling); and 1 krosha (or goruta ~ as far as a cow’s lowing may be heard, or a bull’s roar) may represent either 1000 or 2000 daNDa (a rod or staff), and 1 danda represents 1 pauruSa (a man’s length) which equals 1 dhanvantara (bow-string) or dhanu (bow). 1 yojana measures either 4,000 or (more likely) 8,000 dhanus. Assuming that 1 paurusha is 6 ft long, then 1 yojana must represent a distance of about 14.6 km (or about 9 miles, as suggested by Monier-Williams).
    • nimesa means shutting the eye or winking, and as a measure of time it is a wink of the eye or a moment. The Arthashastra (c. 300 BC) defines 1 nimesa as 1/360,000th of a day and night, i.e. 0.24 seconds.
    • Given that 1 yojana is between 14.6 and 16.4 km, 2,202 yojanas must represent between 32,149 and 36,113 km. Half a nimesha is 0.12 seconds. Sayana thus gives the “speed of the Sun” as between 267,910 and 300,940 km/sec, i.e. the same order of magnitude as the speed of light at 299,792 km/sec.”(wiki)

    . The units are well-known.

For example, the Indian epic “Mahabharata”, conservatively dated to 400 BC – 400 AD, defines 1 nimesha to be equal to 16/75.3 seconds; 1 yojana is about 9 miles.

This is the same as Modern Science on the Speed of Light: in fact more precise !

There s objection to this that Sayana says this about the movement of the Sun and not Light.

My point is that Hinduism speaks in allegories.

If they were speaking directly then with so much of calculations they would not be saying that the Sun has Seven Horses, which are the colors of

    Light, VIBGYOR.

The Sun is an allegory for Light Energy( At the same time a Personal God,  shall be posting later on this)

So Sayana was referring to Light.

What are the chances of Interpolations/Fraud?

Substituting in Sayana’s statement we get 186,536 miles per second. Unbelievable, you’d say! It cannot be the speed of light.

Maybe it refers to the speed of the sun in its supposed orbit around the earth.

But that places the orbit of the sun at a distance of over 2,550 million miles.

The correct value is only 93 million miles and until the time of Roemer the distance to the sun used to be taken to be less than 4 million miles. This interpretation takes us nowhere.

What about the possibility of fraud? Sayana’s statement was printed in 1890 in the famous edition of Rigveda edited by Max Muller, the German Sanskritist.

He claimed to have used several three or four hundred year old manuscripts of Sayana’s commentary, written much before the time of Roemer.

Is it possible that Muller was duped by an Indian correspondent who slipped in the line about the speed? Unlikely, because Sayana’s commentary is so well known that an interpolation would have been long discovered.

And soon after Muller’s “Rigveda” was published, someone would have claimed that it contained this particular “secret” knowledge.

The fact that the speed in the text corresponds to the speed of light was pointed out only recently by S.S. De and P.V. Vartak.

Also a copy of Sayana’s manuscript, dated 1395 AD, is available.

Further support for the genuineness of the figure in the ancient book comes from another old book, the Vayu Purana.

This is one of the earliest Puranas, considered to be at least 1,500 years old. (The same reference is to be found in the other Puranas as well.)

In Chapter 50 of this book, there is the statement that the sun moves 3.15 million yojanas in 48 minutes.

This corresponds to about 10,000 miles per second if considered as speed of light, and 135 million miles for the distance to the sun,

if considered as the speed of the sun. Sayana’s speed of light is exactly 18 times greater than this speed of the sun! Mere numerology?

For the rationalists these numbers are a coincidence.

Given the significance of these numbers, they’d look very carefully at the old manuscripts of Sayana’s commentary.

  • Speed Of Light =Gravity=Infinity = 0 = Science?

The Speed( I am using this term to enable every one to understand this) is 299,792,458 metres per second,

This is equal to the Speed of Gravity.

Speed of Light is equal to Speed of Gravity(+ or – 1%)

The Speed of Light, according to Newton is Infinite.

That is you can not comprehend because there are innumerable Digits,’ it is limitless.

Zero can not be comprehended because there is nothing to comprehend.( some say “A positive or negative number when divided by zero is a fraction with the zero as denominator”

So in terms of Comprehending Infinity is as comprehensible as Zero is.

Therefore Infinity is equal to Zero.

    Speed of Light is Infinite.

Therefore, Speed of Light is equal to Zero.

I am aware of the Logical Fallacy of undistributed Middle is present in my argument.

    So do the Scientist theories!

We take Science because it is convenient.

    We do not question it.

    Then why not God?

    * Follow Theory of Relativity, it is more fun .

    Symbol of Infinity
    Infinity symbol

    Newtonian Gravity.

Therefore the theory assumes the speed of gravity to be infinite. This assumption was adequate to account for all phenomena with the observational accuracy of that time. It was not until the 19th century that an anomaly in astronomical observations which could not be reconciled with the Newtonian gravitational model of instantaneous action was noted.

    Relativity Gravity.

General relativity predicts that gravitational radiation should exist and propagate as a wave at lightspeed: a slowly evolving and weak gravitational field will produce, according to general relativity, effects like those of Newtonian gravitation.

    Infinity.

Infinity (symbol: ) is an abstract concept describing something without any limit and is relevant in a number of fields, predominantly mathematics and physics. The English word infinity derives from Latin infinitas, meaning “the state of being without finish”, and which can be translated as “unboundedness”, itself calqued from the Greek word apeiros, meaning “endless”

The Indian mathematical text Surya Prajnapti (c. 3rd–4th century BCE) classifies all numbers into three sets: enumerable, innumerable, and infinite. Each of these was further subdivided into three orders:

    • Enumerable: lowest, intermediate, and highest
    • Innumerable: nearly innumerable, truly innumerable, and innumerably innumerable
    • Infinite: nearly infinite, truly infinite, infinitely infinite

In the Indian work on the theory of sets, two basic types of infinite numbers are distinguished. On both physical and ontological grounds, a distinction was made between asaṃkhyāta (“countless, innumerable”) and ananta (“endless, unlimited”), between rigidly bounded and loosely bounded infinities.

Minecraft can be a great tool for visualizing complicated subjects, such as the speed of light (aka “c”). Using a straight track and simple math, we can see how the universe might be limiting speeds for very fast things, such as light.

The “doors” metaphor is admittedly, imperfect. While they do limit speed outside of “acceleration”, they falsely imply that there is something “in space” that slows things down, which does not appear to be the case at the moment. The actual mechanisms that limit objects to light speed will be the topic for a future video. (Hint: It has to do with time!)

    Zero.

The rules governing the use of zero appeared for the first time in Brahmagupta‘s book Brahmasputha Siddhanta (The Opening of the Universe),[25] written in 628 AD. Here Brahmagupta considers not only zero, but negative numbers, and the algebraic rules for the elementary operations of arithmetic with such numbers. In some instances, his rules differ from the modern standard. Here are the rules of Brahmagupta:[25]

    • The sum of zero and a negative number is negative.
    • The sum of zero and a positive number is positive.
    • The sum of zero and zero is zero.
    • The sum of a positive and a negative is their difference; or, if their absolute values are equal, zero.
    • A positive or negative number when divided by zero is a fraction with the zero as denominator.
    • Zero divided by a negative or positive number is either zero or is expressed as a fraction with zero as numerator and the finite quantity as denominator.
    • Zero divided by zero is zero.

In saying zero divided by zero is zero, Brahmagupta differs from the modern position. Mathematicians normally do not assign a value to this, whereas computers and calculators sometimes assign NaN, which means “not a number.” Moreover, non-zero positive or negative numbers when divided by zero are either assigned no value, or a value of unsigned infinity, positive infinity, or negative infinity.

  • Physicist Says Warp Speed Will Kill You.

If we have to observe speeds >speed of Light the Observer has to be at the same speed or coordinates of the Observed, and Time factor being identical with space, the observer has to move to another dimension, probably that of the Observed. Please read my Blog Time -A Non linear Theory, under Astrophysics.
    Story.
Last year, a group of physicists figured out that achieving warp speed had the potential–depending on how we did it, at least–to create a black hole that would suck up Earth and destroy us all.

Putting aside that cheery bit of news for a moment, another physicist recently said that even if that particular scenario didn’t come to pass, the simple matter of traveling warp speed could kill you–all because of some stray hydrogen atoms.

Johns Hopkins physicist William Edelstein said at the American Physical Society conference in Washington, D.C. the two hydrogen atoms per cubic centimeter in space pose no threat to regular space travel, but would transform into “deadly galactic space mines” at near-light speed, Space.com reports.

Edelstein went on to say that it would feel like getting struck by the high-energy proton beam from the Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. The audience at the talk wasn’t thrilled with this, apparently, as it caused a minor stir and some good back and forth, the report said.

“Getting between stars is a huge problem unless we think of something really, really different,” Edelstein said. “I’m not saying that we know everything and that it’s impossible. I’m saying it’s kind of impossible based on what we know right now.
