In the wake of allegations of shadow individuals fronting BJP Gadkari’s Company, the RSS confirmed its support of Gadkari when the report of Kejriwal surfaced by a terse statement that’ there is nothing for the RSS to say ,Gadkari has agreed for a probe.
Now RSS ideologue Gurumurthy who is reported to have conducted an audit into the allegations against Gadkari has stated.
BJP chief Nitin Gadkari should choose between his party post and his love for social enterprise to avoid conflict and embarrassment to the party in future even as he said he stood by the “legal and moral” clean chit he gave to Gadkari last week in connection with his alleged improper business deals.
“I personally feel that no party president should be in business as that always invites problem and creates perception,” Gurumurthy said in a series of tweets.
“I care very little whether Nitin remains president or not,” he tweeted, adding that his audit of Gadkari’s controversial businesses was done in good faith.
Last week, the findings of Gurumurthy’s audit were used by the BJP to reaffirm its faith in Gadkari and quell the murmurs of dissent against him. On Tuesday, Gurumurthy seemed to be indicating that even though he had found Gadkari not to be in the wrong in connection with the allegations that surfaced in the media, the “perception” that has stuck with him is a “political problem” the BJP should deal with.”
It is glaring that the constitution of the Companies that ploughed in funds into Gadkari’s Company are shady.
The Sangh Parivar and BJP denied on Monday that GujaratChief MinisterNarendra Modi had a hand in encouraging the allegations that BJP chief Nitin Gadkari was involved in improper business practices.
RSS veteran M G Vaidya fanned the perception of a power struggle within the BJP with his remarks on Sunday in a Marathi blog that the “needle of suspicion in the campaign against Gadkari points to Modi”. Both the Sangh and BJP rejected the “insinuation” Monday; Gadkari himself issued a statement saying the claim was “totally unfounded”.
“The BJP completely rejects such insinuation,” Gadkari said, referring to Vaidya as a “senior journalist” and avoiding reference to his association with the RSS altogether. “All central leaders of the party and its chief minister have been working cohesively and unitedly for the cause of the party.
We are fighting the Gujarat assembly elections with complete unity of purpose and total mutual confidence,” he added.
I received some comments for my post Nitin Gadkari‘s web of Bribes that I have been harsh in Gadkari’s case and that business expands and the bribe amount is not in tune with the IRB‘s growth.
And Gadkari was not in power!
BJP‘s Punj states that Gadkari has magnanimously ‘agreed to a probe knowing well that the investigating agencies will be hostile’
And that it is only the media , specifically the TimesNow news channel that is providing more coverage for Gadkari than for Robert Vadra!
As Arnob Goswamy put it, Mr.Punj has not been watching the TimesNow.
Advani and Gadkari_jpg.
Facts.Timesnow filed an RTI application in August 2012 requesting information whether investigations were on the accusations of Gadkari in respect of alleged mismanagement/non transparent funds by his Company,Purti Group.
The answer in No.
Is this a Quid pro Quo?
Of the addresses provided to the Registrar of Companies as Directors of the Companies who have invested Crores in Gadkari’s Company.,,,
1.Gadkaris’ Driver is included. On checking up , the addressee was not found in the address.Further tracking led to another address where he was not available but his son confirmed that his father was a Director in Purti Sugar and Power and he was no longer associated with it.
It also transpires that this Panse, the driver was the principal witness to a murder in a Car found in Gadkari’s Compound.
2.Another Addresse was in Kolkata who denied his association with the Company but he was surprised that the PAN numbers his and his Family matches!
3.Another Director is an Astrolger, whose wife denied her husband was any thing more than a Vaasthu expert.
4.Two Companies were operating from a Chawl.-no board, nothing.
5.One Company’s Corporate Head quarters is in a Chawl.
6. Two Companies’ addresses were fakes.
Now Mr. Advani barges in ,backed up by Sushma Swaraj,,Venkaiah Naidu,Anant Kumar, stating that Gadkai has agreed to a Probe and would the Congress launch a probe into Vadra.? Open Collusion?
He adds a rider ‘ What is in question is not Corruption but standards of Business’!
This, from a man who went on Rath Yatra to weed out Corruption.
Advani-one understands -he needs desperately to block Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Ministerial Candidate…his coterie ditto.
One of the greatest Men of integrity going awaste.
Very Sad.
TIMES NOW investigation unravels more details of Nitin Gadkari’s company under scanner. Investigation reveals more fake addresses, more dubious directors, drivers, and astrologers made directors of Gadkari’s firms. TIMES NOW tracks down driver-turned-director.
The biggest mystery of Narendra Modi’s life is his relationship status. The world knows him as a ‘bachelor’ but it has been contested by some of his critics who point out that he was once married to ‘Jashodaben’. A magazine published a story in 2009 that claimed Jashodaben to be Modi’s wife. The fact that Modi never contested the facts of the story gives credence to the content of the article. The woman in question is a school teacher and lives in Rajosana village of Banaskantha district. She is said to be married when she was 18. She had studied up to class VIIII only and that is supposed to have spoiled their relationship. It is said that Jashodaben does not like to be photographed as she believes she is not good looking. Not only this, she is conscious of Modi’s high position and does not want to create any embarrassment to Modi although she is hopeful that someday Modi will come to her and publicly accept her as his wife.
Narendra Modi is a patriot since childhood. During Indo-Pak war of 1965, Modi, as a 15 year old boy, volunteered to serve the soldiers in transit at the railway stations. Similarly, in 1967 at an age of 17 years, he served the flood affected people of Gujarat.
Modi was born in an OBC family of grocers in Vadnagar of Gujarat. Modi wanted to become a sanyasi when he was a child. In fact, he was always fascinated with Sadhus, different forms of worship and meditation. He ran away from home after completing his school education. He visited many places including Ramkrishna Ashram of Belur in West Bengal. Finally, he reached Himalayas and wandered aimlessly and stayed with unknown but yogic Sadhus for months.
After returning from Himalayas, Modi ran a tea stall with his brother at the State Transport Office in Ahmedabad. Modi sold tea for many years. That was the time when Modi learnt what hardship really meant. It made him more determined and resolute in his approach towards life.
Modi with his Mother.
Narendra Modi is very particular about his appearance in public. He prefers trimmed beard and hair. As for his clothes, his favourite cloth store used to be Jade Blue of Ahmedabad. He ensures that he looks elegant whenever he moves out.
Narendra Modi has done a three-month course in US on public relations and image management. This could be one reason why he has succeeded in positioning himself as one of the most affable and sought after politicians in India.
Narendra Modi adores his mother and never forgets to take her blessings whenever he undertakes any new initiative- political or otherwise. In fact, she is his only closest relation. He has got all traditional virtues of an Indian man. He is a teetotaler. He doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke. He is a complete vegetarian. In nut-shell, he is miles away from even minor vices.
Women all over India and cutting over age bracket adore Modi. In his home state, he is seen as a sex symbol among women. A close look at his public meetings makes it abundantly clear that women outnumber men among attendees. Analysts say this is mainly because of his emperor like image exuding absolute power and authority.
Modi is a prolific writer and poet.He writes in Gujarati language and his favourite topics include life and teachings of Hindutva icons. Narendra Modi is a big fan of Swami Vivekananda. His most recent election campaign was christened as ‘Vivekanand Yuva Vikas Yatra’.
Narendra Modi is not liked by the sister organisations of BJP like ‘VHP’ and ‘Bajrang Dal’. The hatred is so intense that ‘sangh parivar’ outfits are said to be working tirelessly to overthrow his government in upcoming assembly elections.
We have been seeing exposes one after another involving people in high places.
Vadra is accused of getting 39 Crores, selling land to DLF , with drawn his equity after the transaction that netted him a huge questionable profit.
Gadkari Companies, Purthi Group received investments from India Road Builders and the investors/directors of the holding companies exist in fake emails;his driver is the MD of a Company.
Virbhadra Singh has been accused of bribe taking , based on his IT Returns.
Aren’t the Registrar of Companies supposed to check the information when the Companies’ records are submitted or is it that they just file away the triplicate.
If you are a salaried man, your IT Return is questioned as to the source of funds even if it is an oversight for Rs.1000/.
My long-held view is that it is the bureaucrats who educate, train and teach the politicians the loopholes and share the loot.
If the Bureaucratic are disciplined the system will become better.
Targeting Politicians is only skimming the surface.

SHIMLA: Faced with allegations of money laundering, Himachal Congress president and former chief minister Virbhadra Singh said on Tuesday that all the charges levelled against him by the BJP were “imaginary” as the party cannot be privy to income-tax details of any individual.
“How can I respond to fiction-based on theories circulated by the BJP, which is on a losing wicket in Himachal Pradesh? I am surprised how Arun Jaitley has access to such private and personal documents, which should be in the custody of competent authorities and is not even available under the RTI Act without the permission of the assessee,” Virbhadra said in a statement.
“Some senior BJP leaders, and specially Arun Jaitley, seem to know more about my I-T returns than I do. Their information appears to be based on imaginary details supplied by BJP leadership in Delhi. This is being done to create confusion among the people, and to divert my attention from election campaign,” he added.
“Repeated attempts are being made to scrutinize me on every front. I have no problem with that. I fail to understand how some senior BJP leaders have taken over the role of the income-tax department, which has so far not sought any clarification from me,” said Virbhadra’
On Sunday 8 October 2012, in ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ by Karan Thapar in CNN IBN News Channel interviewed Kejriwal on the question of moral propriety of Kejriwal in raising the issue of Robert Vadra without giving Robert the opportunity of defending himself ,that too after getting this information(which is available for the Public from the reistrar of Companies) from an article published in the Economic Times in March last year.
Karan Thapar’s moral high ground is laudable.
But the point by Kejriwal that how else does one expect one’s answer when such a major scam is reported in the Media long back ,which no other Media picked up(incidentally Hindustan Times’ expose on Thorium theft remains unpicked by Media till date-I posted details in my blog), is well taken.
On the other hand Kejriwal’s silence to why he raised a hue and cry when corruption charges were leveled against Shanti Bhushan, si deafening.
You should have a level field for play.
Well, Kejriwal has become a Politician now and we can not expect any thing more from him than double talk.
Now coming to the issue ‘How exactly is DLF is linked to Robert Vadra and did the Media not follow up ETstory?
Robert Vadra’s Companies.
New Delhi-based entrepreneur Robert Vadra, married into the country ‘s most powerful family, has made a quiet and relatively unheralded entry into the real estate business, including a partnership with DLF Ltd, India ‘s largest realty firm. Vadra, the son-in-law of the ruling United Progressive Alliance coalition chairperson Sonia Gandhi, has stayed away from electoral politics, maintaining that he wants to be known as a businessman,
In interviews, he has said that his focus is on Artex, a small company specialising in jewellery and handicraft exports. That seems to be changing as 42-year-old Vadra, known for his punishing fitness regime and love for fast bikes, has sought to scale up and diversify his business activities since 2008, acquiring tracts of land in Haryana and Rajasthan, a 50% stake in a leading business hotel in Delhi, and attempting an entry into the business of chartering aircraft. Regulatory filings available in the public domain and reviewed by ET reporters reveal the changing graph of Vadra ‘sbusiness interests. These include wide-ranging transactions with the DLF Group.
Sky Light Hospitality Pvt Ltd, a company wholly owned by Vadra and his mother Maureen Vadra, is a partner, along with DLF Hotel Holdings and others, in a partnership firm that owns the business hotel Hilton Garden Inn in the upscale South Delhi business district Saket. The hotel is located within the DLF Place mall, also known as DLF Courtyard. “The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Saket is a small business hotel.
I have interest in hospitality and am happy to be part of the hotel,” Vadra told ET, speaking on the phone from Europe, where he is travelling presently. He said the business association with DLF stemmed from a long-standing friendship with the family that controls the realty giant. “I have known the DLF people for a long time and they are friends of mine. I had wanted to invest in real estate and one thing led to another. Right now, I can only be part of a small hotel.
If I were taking favours from people I would be doing far bigger things. But I am doing this on my own. I can’t expand immediately but I hope to expand a few years down the line,” he added.”
“DLF has given loans to Vadra ‘s companies
DLF has also extended loans to various companies owned by Vadra. Some of these are unsecured loans or debt without any collateral. As on March 2009, Sky Light Hospitality had received unsecured loans amounting to Rs 25 crore from DLF Ltd. As on March 2010, only Rs 10 crore remained. It ‘s unclear from the statement of accounts if the rest was paid back or written off. Sky Light Hospitality has, in turn, loaned money to other Vadraowned companies such as Blue Breeze Trading Pvt Ltd, North India IT Parks Pvt Ltd, Real Earth Estates Pvt Ltd and Sky Light Realty Pvt Ltd.
Blue Breeze Trading, a company incorporated in 2007 with Vadra and his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as first directors and equal shareholders, is in the business of chartering aircraft. The company, however, seems to have done little business, apart from acquiring agricultural land. Priyanka Gandhi ceased to be a director as on July 2008. She is no longer a shareholder. Real Earth Estates Pvt Ltd also had a Rs 5 crore loan directly from DLF on its books as on March 2010.
The joint venture firm Saket Courtyard Hospitality had received Rs 3.58 crore of unsecured loans from DLF Hotel Holdings Ltd, the group company that owned 50% stake in the JV. “The business relationship of DLF Group with Robert Vadra has been in his capacity as an individual entrepreneur and on a completely transparent and arms length basis.
“On March 16, the TOI reported: BJP, Left to corner Cong on Vadra’s rise:On Tuesday, leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj said, “The matter is a serious one and the party is gathering documents to aise it with the prominence it deserves.”
She said the party had “entrusted” leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley to collect facts on Vadra’s rise.CPM leader Sitaram Yechury was on the same track.
“It looks like a serious matter and our party is ascertaining facts and will come up with a structured reaction on this,” he said. But the story began to change, as Mr Dasgupta tweeted on March 16:Resistance in BJP on raising Vadra issue is from some a of its ex-Presidents
Differences were evident at a meeting of BJP leaders in Parliament on Wednesday with some leaders advocating caution while some others felt Congress could be asked some questions on Vadra’s activities. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Saba Sushma Swaraj felt it would not be good form to target family members of political rivals.
Whether or not the possible counter-attack on the BJP’s own son-in-law, Mr Ranjan Bhattacharya, whose name keeps cropping up in Radia tapes and in Wikileaks cables, is one of the reasons for the BJP’s hesitation, has not found a mention in any of the discussions so far.”
See how the elusive Ranjan Bhattacharya, Vajpayee’s son-in-law is tucked in!
No wonder no Media picked the story of Economic Times.
