  • Techie Tape Suicide Or Brutal Murder.

A young man was found in the plush suburb of Bangalore inside his car.

His body was taped all around and his face was covered with four layers of plastic covers.

The story put out by the Police is that the boy, who was a Software engineer had an Online affair with a girl and as she informed him that she would be getting married, she had asked him not to trouble her.

Distressed the boy is supposed to have committed suicide, by preparing meticulously after texting the girl that she would know of his fate through the Media.

A bottle of water laced with 50  Gardenal( a quick acting sedative, normally given to Horses) tablets was found half empty by his side.

    Few questions.

The sedative is very quick in acting.

In no way it is possible for a human being to consume 50 tablets of the same and yet have the time to tape himself around and wrap four plastic covers over his head.

Two to three tablets of even a tranquilizer like Restyl .5 mg. puts you to sleep in about 15 minutes.

To believe that 50 tablets of Gardenal was ineffective for nearly 15 minutes( the minimum time required to tape yourself as the boy was reported to have done) is naive or criminal or both.

Again the boy’s room-mate seems to have stated that the deceased had taken scotch tape and covers from his room.

The boy is reported to have spent  a long time conversing with his relatives in person and his mother over phone just prior to his fate.

A suicide is the result of instantaneous decision and does not require this much time , as the individual spends more time especially with his relatives, the desire to commit suicide recedes.

It is imperative that the case is  re-investigated thoroughly as the motive is also suspect.

A separate blog follows on Onine Relationship and the motive factor of the murder follows.

A 24-year-old software engineer was on Tuesday morning found murdered in a gruesome manner – his body was swathed in 50 metres of duct tape and strapped to the rear seat of his Volkswagen Polo at Brookefield, near Whitefield.

The youth’s head was shrouded in four plastic covers sealed with a duct tape wound 20 times around his neck. The body was swaddled in 12 layers of duct tape at eight places below the waist. His hands and legs, too, were tied using duct tape.

The victim is Sreeraj S, a resident of 6th cross, AECS Layout, Brookefield, and native of Kozhikode in Kerala. He worked with HP as a software engineer. The body was found in his car next to a lakeside park in ‘D’ block, Maruthi Layout, AECS Layout, about a kilometre from his house. A one-litre plastic bottle half-filled with water laced with sleeping tablets was found in the boot of the car.

In the morning, ragpickers spotted the car parked next to a waste dump. They thought a man lying on the back seat was asleep. A closer look revealed his head was shrouded in plastic covers. Police were informed by 8 pm. They took 15 minutes to remove the tapes from the body.

Police ruled out the murder-for-gain angle. The victim’s wallet and costly cellphone handset were intact. Investigators suspect an affair might have resulted in the killing. The victim sported a jeans and grey T-shirt . Police suspect the involvement of more than one person . The victim’s dust-free shoes indicated that he might have been killed either in his car or at a house close by.

    Killers weren’t professionals

The gruesome murder of Sreeraj S on Tuesday proved only one thing: the killers were not professionals and the layers of tape pointed to their nervousness and desperation , according to forensic experts. Alerted by passersby and ragpickers about a youth’s body lying on the backseat of a car, police rushed in and force-opened the car doors. The victim showed no signs of life. Forensic experts took the fingerprints on the car and the body. Around 1pm, the police took the body out of the car and ripped off the duct tapes.

The outermost cover was of a drycleaner’s outlet from Marathahalli, the second one of a designer cloth chain, the third of a fast-food chain and the innermost of a supermarket. Underneath the layers of plastic, a yellow cloth had been stuffed into his mouth and duct-taped.

“Preliminary investigation pointed to the possibility of him being sedated using water laced with sleeping tablets. A bottle was found in the car’s boot. After Sreeraj was sedated, they put the plastic covers on his head and wrapped him up in layers of duct tape . He appears to have suffocated to death,” a forensic officer said.

Police have taken Sreeraj’s mobile phone and are examining its call records. A postmortem was conducted at Bowring hospital. His parents arrived in the city late in the night.

  • Jayendra Saraswati Misappropriated Kanchi Kamakshi Gold.

Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt Jayendra Saraswati is caught up in a New Controversy over  missing Gold ,83 Kgs., belonging to Kamakshi Amman .

Radhakrishnan ,Auditor of the Mutt had deposed in the Court that a committee under the Chairmanship of A.C.Muthaiah was formed in 2002 to refurbish the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple Vimana, of which Radhakrishnan was a member.

Seventeen kilo- of Gold was collected and 83 kg were imported from abroad.

Total one hundred kg was reported to be kept in locker.

Jayendra Saraswati  is reported to have pressurised Radhakrishnan to hand over the Gold to Jayendra Sarawati.

On Radha Krishnan’s refusal,Jayendra Saraswati was reported to have hired Dadas to attack Radha Krishnan,

Jayendrar was reported to have grabbed the gold thereafter.

Elaborating further Radha Krishnan stated that only 17 kg. was used for the temple and the balance 83 kgs.is missing.

One has to await the  Court’s verdict.

It may be mentioned that Jayendra Saraswati is facing criminal case in Puduchery for the murder of  Sankarara Raman a Mutt Employee.

Another enquiry is on for his attempt to bribe the Judge who was trying his  case in Puduchery( read my blog on this)

It may also be mentioned that Jayendra Saraswati left(I think that is the decent expression) a decade back with out the knowledge of Periyavar and caused incalculable hurt to Periyava,

As one who had a ring side view of this sordid episode at Bangalore  and ThalaCauvery,  I was deeply embarrassed by the snide remarks of the Swamijis of Kailash Ashram, Bangalore about Kanchi Mutt.

I could not answer anything as it was the Tiruchi Swamigal of Kailash Ashram who helped Jayendrar to get accommodation at Thalacauvery and he was one of the few people who urged Jayendrar to return to Kanchi Mutt and desist from hurting the Periyava.

Why can’t Jayendra Saraswati perform his duty as an Ascetic of the  Kanchi Mutt?

He seems to be doing every thing other than this, exceptng of course some publicity gimmicks.

He can never go anywhere  near Periyava, but he can at least try not to hurt the Periyava even after his shedding His Mortal Frame.

    Kanchi Mutt’s Press Release .

At the time of posting the original(being updated on March 13, 2013),the press release was not availabel to me.

I am able to get it and am publishing it.

1.Some explanations, to my mind, are not valid, like the one questioning why Ms.Anuradha rRmanan kept quiet for 12  years,as itself would make her a liar.

I know her personally , she was a very pious woman dedicated to the Kanhchi Mutt.

The case is pending on other issues, cell phone,Sankar Raman murder, etc.

    Let the Truth come out.

The charge by Sankara Raman that 100 kgs of gold were imported to make a gold chariot for Kanchi Kamakshi deity. and only 35 kgs were used while the remaining went missing, was re-iterated by the police in the high court for probe.

    Here are the facts.

Sri. Adi Sankarar Swarna Vimana Trust with registered office at VHS Campus, Chennai 600 113 was entrusted with the Gold cladding work of Sri Adi Sankarar Vimanam, Sri Kamakshi Ambal Vimanam and Simha Vahanam. The board of trustees of this trust comprised of eminent persons. The gold cladding work was done on copper sections by the conventional methods of beating gold strips into foils and pasting the gold foils over mercury base, heating and polishing. The entire gold plating work was completed and handed over to the authorities of Sri Kamakshi Ambal Devasthanam, Kanchipuram as per the details given below.

The trust imported 85.31 kgs of Gold (and not 100 kgs as alleged) comprising of Gold bars 71.31 kgs, Biscuits 14.00 kgs.

    This was used as follows:
    1. Sri Adi Sankarar Vimanam 21.875 kgs
    2. Sri Kamakshi Ambal Vimanam – upper portion 5.996 kgs
    3. Sri Kamakshi Ambal Vimanam – lower portion 41.411 kgs
    4. Sri Kamakshi Ambal Kavacham 7.495 kgs
    5. Rajagopuram Kalasam 3.932 kgs
    6. Simha Vahanam 4.430 kgs
    Total 85.139 kgs

The balance gold of 171 gms has been duly accounted.

The full description of the various kanikkais together with the receipt numbers are recorded in the register maintained by the temple trust. These accounts have been verified by the HR&CE department of the government from time to time.

    Sankar Raman Issue.  ?!

First. Sankara Raman was never an employee of the Mutt as it is made out to be. He was an employee of a temple in Kanchipuram at the time of his death. Sankara Raman wrote several letters to His Holiness over the last several years accusing the Swamiji and several others of various acts of omission and commission, to put it mildly.

He marked copies of several of his letters to the CM, the leader of the opposition , HRCE Department and several other prominent citizens and devotees. Every one just ignored the letters as those of a disgruntled black mailer who was threatening to ‘expose’ the two Swamijis & The Mutt. These letters were being freely circulated by Sankara Raman. In one of his letters he claims that he was a man of average means and that ‘some kind hearted man’ was paying for the mass copying and postage of the letters.

We cannot speculate as to why he was killed or who was involved. The only thing we believe unequivocally, is that His Holiness is being falsely implicated in this.

    9. Who is Radhakrishnan? What is his relationship with the Mutt? Why was he attacked? Who attacked him? Why is the Swamiji implicated in this?

Radharishnan is a former associate of the Mutt, and has his own business. In 1994 when it was discovered that he was involved in a malicious defamation campaign against the Mutt, he was relieved of his services. He was one of the trustees of the Sri. Adi Sankara trust, for the golden chariot for Kamakshi Amman. The case about an attack on Radhakrishnan is 2 years and 3 months old. In the FIR filed in this case neither the Mutt nor Swamiji were mentioned.

As far as I know no body attacks the Karachi;they point out information regarding the individuals.

Being men of The Holy Order and one holds a position of Trust and representing a Great Religion, it is essential that the accusations are disproved, instead of pleading injured innocence.

No body even dares to dream of leveling such a charge against the Periyavar.

Accusing people of bad faith only confirms suspicions.

‘It was an incredible display of batting which left cricket fans packed inside an Indian stadium open-mouthed with astonishment.

But despite fans cheering with delight after West Indian batsman Chris Gayle hit five consecutive sixes, one young fan was left in agonising pain.

When Gayle, who was playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, hit his fourth six on the bounce during the Indian Premier League match, the ball flew straight into the crowd and smashed an unfortunate ten-year-old girl in the face.

But when the talented batsman learned that one of his huge shots had broke the youngster’s nose, he went straight to visit her in a Bangalore hospital.

According to NDTV, Gayle – who was awarded man-of-the-match for this display –  decided to visit the hospital because he was sad to hear about the youngster’s injury.

‘Her first words were that I should not be sad,’ the cricketer said. ‘It was a very touching moment for me and I wished her a speedy recovery.

‘She told me to keep hitting sixes and not to worry.’

The young fan was hit in the face during the match between The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Pune Warriors on Tuesday

Excellent team effort in batting by Royal Challengers in batting against  Pune warriors in IPL match 21 on 17/4/2012 at Chinnasswamy Stadium, Bangalore.

Chris Gayle’s blitzkrieg  gave momentum and when the situation was becoming hopeless AB de Vlliers with Saurab Tiwari rescued RCB with AB de Villiers making some incredible shots, including a breath-taking six.

Saurab Tiwari finished off in style with a four off the last ball when 4 runs were required.

Needing 21 off the last over, Tiwary took a single on the first delivery of Ashish Nehra to give strike to de Villiers.

The South African then smashed the second ball for a boundary and followed it by two consecutive sixes to make things easier for Bangalore.

With four required of last two balls, Villiers took a single off the fifth ball to bring Tiwary back on strike. The southpaw didn’t let pressure mount on him and sailed the final delivery into the crowd over the rope to finish the game for Bangalore on style.
