Universe In Temple Designs Hindusim Angkor Vat

The principles in the making of the universe are within us and the Hindu temples keep this point in constructing them.

The Hindu Temples are built according to Vedic Principles of Cosmology and the physical structural guidelines are from the Vaasu Sasta and Agamas.

One would temples, including cave temple of Gavi Gangadhara temple in Bangalore, have the Sun’s Rays falling on the God’s idol on specific days.

Vishnu’s Mathsya temple also has these feature.

There are temples where the shadow of the idol falls at a specific pre marked space.

There are quite a few temples and please check my posts under Hinduism.

We have the Sun temple at Konark where one can find Astronomy being used in the construction of temple.

Rama was not a teetotaller. He drank liquor copiously and Valmiki records that Rama saw to it that Sita joined with him in his drinking bouts*[f81] . From the description of the Zenana of Rama as given by Valmiki it was by no means a mean thing. There were Apsaras, Uraga and Kinnari accomplished in dancing and singing. There were other beautiful women brought from different parts. Rama sat in the midst of these women drinking and dancing. ..This is caution to Hindus not to be misled by seemingly authentic quoted by people who have been built up as Great in India.

Lord Rama Had Many Wives, Valmiki?

In my research to answer him on some points, I came across information that the Valmiki Ramayana we are following now is not by Valmiki but the Ramacharita Manas by Tulsidas.

This Tulsidas Ramayana, we have been misquoting as Valmiki Ramayana.

Can some one clarify with references?

To my knowledge Rama had only one wife and he had been loyal to Sita.

This issue , in my opinion, is a classic case of taking things out of context.

This sloka is about what Manthara speaks about Rama to Kaikeyi just before Lord Rama’s Coronation, Pattabhisheka.

In her effort to poison Kaikeyi’s mind against Rama, Manthara says that if Rama was crowned as a King, Bharata’s position would wane:

This is what Christian Neo Missionaries are attempting to do by seemingly researched, though sheer n0n sense ,work about Hinduism and Christianity,in their attempt to legitimize Christianity and lure the unwary into the Christian fold.

This follows their earlier attempts to spread the canard about Jesus having visited Kashmir, learned Yoga and his grave is in Kashmir.

Now they have gone one step further,

That Jesus had studied in Kashmir.

He was a follower of Rudra.

He,as a carpenter, built a King’s palace in India.

Jesus is Shiva and Prajapathi.

Jesus is Ishwara and this is mentioned in the Bhavishya Purana.

Jesus is mentioned in the Rig Veda.

Koorma Shiva With Tortoise Skin Thiru Tandalai

The Tortoise Koorma, became uncontrollable an it had to be pacified by reminding that it was an Avatar of Vishnu.

Much as one would use a trained elephant to pacify an uncontrollable one, Lord Shiva took the Avatar of Koorma to pacify Vishnu.

The temple in Thiru Tandalai, near Vellore, Tamil Nadu has a Shiva Temple, where the Swayambu Lingam(self made) has the markings of tortoise skin.
