Right To Work Tool For Silencing?Indian Reservations Audio

The Right to Work in Michigan has sparked Off a Controversy and the argument by its detractors is that it would enable the Corporate to silence the Collective bargaining and silence the workers.

In India, leave alone the Right To work, the Reservation process through which certain percentage of jobs are reserved for a section of the Society ,has been on for decades.(What a difference in perception between The US and India on Right To Work!)

The funniest thing is that in the Reservation,s incompetence is encouraged as in allowing lower marks in examinations and reduced years of Service for promotions.

Worse is yet to come.

The Government is planning to introduce this Reservation in the Private Sector as well!

Has it really enhanced the Social Lives of the ‘Oppressed”?

The economic condition of the thus helped has gone up at the cost of efficiency.

But Socially those who were/are thus helped treat the members of their community as the same way they complain as having been treated by the others!

As to collective bargaining, there used to be a time when the Communists were active this used to happen.

Now communists are too busy in power equations and alliances, that collective bargaining is next to nil.

Listen to Audio from the US on the Subject of Right To Work.

Right To Work.
Right To Work.

‘In Michigan, union members and their supporters continue to protest against the Workplace Equity and Fairness Act. It’s a package of so-called Right to Work legislation that opponents say is politically motivated and will give corporations more power to silence workers. Governor Rick Snyder says the legislation is about workplace fairness and equity. As a prelude to larger union protests tomorrow, when lawmakers are expected to take up the bills again, this morning, nurses from the Michigan Nurses Association stood silent on the steps of the Capitol with duct tape covering their mouths. We spoke with Jeff Breslin, a Registered Nurse and the Association’s President. He was at the protest.
