Paraplegic,Ignored, Crawls in Desert.

It is News only if and when some one helps some one in distress.

I am posting this story of a Man ,Paraplegic, who had to crawl four Miles in a Desert  before he was helped by a motorist.

When are we going to become Humane again?

Having known the attitude of people,the Man should have known this at 49, why did he venture out with out necessary back up?

‘A paraplegic man from Newcomb is in the hospital after he dragged himself four miles down a dirt road off U.S. Highway 491.
Ricky Gilmore, 49, was found last week on Tocito Road, about 30 miles south of Shiprock after a man and woman left him there without his wheelchair.
Gilmore struggled for three days and two nights before anyone stopped to help him. He said three vehicles, including one from the Native American Church, passed him while he scooted on his buttocks in search of help.
After a man stopped to help him and called an ambulance, the Northern Navajo Medical Center admitted Gilmore.
They are treating    him for acute kidney failure, a sprained wrist and extensive blood infection, medical center officials said.
“It was like torture,” said Gilmore, who filed a police report at the Shiprock Police Department on Thursday.
