   A junior player should be supported as and when it’s required. But the problem in Indian cricket is requirement of “Godfathers” for suppurt. The mafia mentality of Indian senior players (Greg Chappel’s words) and their feudalistic mind to juniors make the situation difficult without “Godfathers”.
   Sreesanth may not be a great bowler. But definitely this is not the way to treat him. He’s not your enemy. He is sweating for India. Those who are sitting in ivory towers should not throw stones. And look aorund yourself to see what’s happening.
   I am amazed to see the comments in you tube that peoples are even justifying the slap of Harbhajan (IPL Harbhajan Sree issue).
   Had it happend in western countries, Harbhajan woould never be in team .
   We are ready to accept that slap with “grace!”.
   Becuase we Indian’s forget the position of Spinal cord..
   We still have that slavish mentality in our mind..Salute your seniors.

      You are right about Harbhajan;he should have been banned from representing the country.
      Greg Chappel has no moral authority nor Ian Chappell to comment on any body’s behavior.
      We are aware of politics in Aricket Australia who denied Shane Warne Captaincy and the way hey let of Andrew Symonds.
      Greg Chappell is notorious for asking Trevor Chppell to bowl an under armer,while Ian Chappell is a known whiner and was/is very insulting of non-Australians in general and India in particular.
      What pains me is the acceptance of”sledging’,an exhibition of boorish behavior not becoming of an adult.
      The best way to irritate the opposition is with performance.
      Support performance , not bad behavior for thee sportsmen are idols for youngsters .
      If you want to stand up to the opposition stand up like Bishen Bedi who walked out new New Zealand Match or give a mouthful in polite language in post match conference,like Gavaskar.

   In the Aussies – Lanka world cup match Shaun Tait insulted Dilshan using “F” words. And in the same over Tait bowled out Dilshan. Any body who has seen that match will come to know the dose of Sledging and it’s result!.
   Sledging is common even in Chess. Don’t you know about the much infamous tactics Kasparov played upon Anand. Insults, Slamming of door, not to appear in time, scornful looks etc.(Videos with commentary still available in youtube).
   ” Indian paceman allegedly ” ..yes, that’s it.It’s only allegation, No proof. Mikes provided near the stumps didn’t hear it, nor the umpires.
   You are ready to gulp down this theory and your prescription is to send him to Psychiartic counselling (he is a psychology graduate!).
   Let me ask you one thing.. Are you an Indian?.
   Why ponting is not scolding Shaun Tait and calling journalists to proclaim it?.

      Please refer my reply to another comment here and also a comment on Ponting on his antics, filed under Cricket.
      One feels pained at the bad bad behavior of their children and not of penal settlers .
      Remember, Sree santh is representing the Country and what he does on field rubs on the country.
      Watch Sachin ,GR Viswanath,Anil Kumble,Muralidaran,Clive Lloyd,Asif Iqbal,Zaheer Abbas.9these are the names that come to my mind immediately)

   I think you are not familiar with Sledging in cricket!. You are speaking as if it’s being done for the first time in thw world. Australians are masters of sledging. When an Indian does it , why are you irritated?.
   From which school Dhoni learnt the lessons of leadership? Does he knows any thing about it?. What was his intention in admonishing Sreesanth and promulgating it to journalists “that I have scolded him”.. He could have done the same in private or in team meeting. For geeting into whose good book he told these thing to journalists?. To insult his own player. Is that a sign of a great leader? What about Harbhajan Symonds issue?.
   Will he do the same against Harbhajan?.
   Has it any thing to do with the sharp yorker of Sreesanth , that uprooted the wicket of Dhoni while he was on 2?. (Video is still available in Youtube).
