The Story.
The Principal of the Sri Venkateshwara Arts College who goes by the name of Dr M. D. Christopher has been accused by the students of college and various student organizations that he is aiding Christian proselytization. If one looks at the happenings at the SV Arts College in the recent months, there is a strong possibility that this allegation is indeed true.
Evangelist literature is being distributed to students in the college campus. The manner in which the evangelist books are distributed is quite alarming and would not have been possible without the helping hand of the college administration. The students of the hostel are specially targeted for this soul harvest. Evangelical books and other literature arrived in a postal package and were addressed to each student by his name and they were in fact delivered to his room in the hostel. The students say that such distribution of books has happened many times over.
Students allege that complaints about this missionary activity to the Principal andTTD officials have fallen on deaf ears. The students of the college directly point fingers at the Principal. The Principal has appointed to his staff a person named Rajkumar. Rajkumar is alleged to have given out the names and addresses of the students to the missionary organization distributing the literature. In spite of repeated complaints, no action was taken by the Principal. The Principal is also accused of appointing non-Hindu staff.’

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) was able to get about ten pictures of the building and the nearby places. Many of our friends have been trying to find out the sinister plans of starting Islamic College near Tirupathi. Following information is being provide for your purview :
1. The seven layer/storied building is being constructed in Chandragiri village which is about 13 kilometers from Tirupathi.
2. There is big sign posted on the main road to indicate that it is the home of “Heera International Islamic College (HIIC).” On the same sign board it is written “Women Arabic College.”
3. Down below the sign board, on the ground there is a sign “Swarnamukhi River Rejuvenation Project.” The name Chandragiri is also printed on the sign board.
Lankaenews reports that the TTD, Thirumala Thirupathi Devasthanam of Lord Balaji was involved in selling 350 tons of Gold belonging to Rjapakshe,President of Sri Lanka.
This, Rjapakshe is reported to have swindled.
It may be remembered that the Tamil Nadu Scribes were lathi charged in Thirupathi, when they tried to take photographs of Rajapakshe when he visited Thirupathi recently.

Rajapakse who has planned his fleeing the country , made a visit to the Thirupathy Temple(Kovil) immediately after handing over nominations not for paying homage , but to ensure the secret dispatch of the gold and monies , reports say. The Thirupathy Temple (Kovil) is well known world over for large collections of unofficial monies and gold. This Kovil lends monies even to the Indian government . At the same time it is involved in transfer of monies of multi -millionaires through the Undiyal system (illicit fund transfers). It is very evident that Rajapakse made a beeline to that Kovil for such an illicit transaction , that is ,out of love for money and not due to love for the deities , or to perform a genuine pilgrimage .
It is specially worthy of note that though Tissa Attanyake accompanied Mahinda , it was only the latter and Yoshitha, the son of Mahinda who went into the Kovil and met the Kovil bigwigs . Lanka e news is in possession of a wealth of information in this regard which will be released after 8 th January 2015….
The Rajapakse family had planned to flee the country in the event their conspiracies are unsuccessful . One of the conspiracy is to cause a bomb explosion in Colombo on the 6 th or 7 th of January 2015 , and blame it on the LTTE , with a view to earn the sympathy of the people and show that Mahinda Rajapkse had won by a majority of 300,000 votes , according to detailed reports reaching Lanka e news inside information division, and based on all the news garnered by our division.
It is the most infamous senior DIG Anura Senanayake who had undertaken this contract. Mahinda Balasuriya the secretary to the Ministry of law and order is also to render assistance to Senanayake , in addition to the Rajapakse regime ,to execute this plan, which information had unfortunately for the Rajapakses has leaked out already. It is significant to note that this plot of Anura Senanayake had not received any support from other DIGs as well as the IGP. Consequently , these vote rigging and election frauds planned by the regime have failed so far.
In like manner the conspiracy to rig votes has also been unsuccessful. Full information and details of rigging of election results and the methodologies to be adopted by the Rajapakse regime are in the possession of Lanka e news. According to these machinations , the final fraudulent election result is to be conveyed as though Mahinda has won the elections by 303,966 votes . (We have in our custody the concocted results on district basis that are to be conveyed to the people by the Rajapakse regime which we shall not reveal now, as that is too long and space consuming) . Sorry to state however, these riggings and frauds aimed at by the Rajapakse regime have not received any support from the elections commission secretariat, and these Rajapakse treacherous plans and manipulations have even been leaked out by them.
At any rate , at this forthcoming election , the opposition has taken a decision to operate an alternative (parallel) vote counting center to combat the regime’s fraudulent election practices and vote rigging , and prevent them. At the same time as the elections department is conducting the vote count , the opposition is to run the alternative (parallel) center for counting the votes with the aid of international sophisticated system and technology .
In the circumstances , since the Mahinda Rajapakse plans and plots to rig votes and commit election frauds in order to show to the people that he has won with a majority of 300,000 votes had turned into a damp squib so far , they have made arrangements to flee the country which is the only option left for them.
Based on informed sources of the Diplomatic circles , if Rajapakse regime team is unable to use the Sri Lankan planes ( which impediment it is naturally expecting) , the regime has already made arrangements with two Indian Charter plane companies to get down planes , for which the regime has paid in full to these companies.

The Rajapakse family that is planning to make a bolt overseas has already sold 350 tons of gold in the country it has robbed , to a Japanese millionaire whose name is Keiji Matsumura . The latter representing a Japanese Company , Japuga Holdings Private Ltd. had bought the 350 tons gold. It is a Tamil national by the name of Rajgopal Kartheepan (identity card No. 8334333342 V) who has acted as a broker as his elder brother who lives in Switzerland had appointed Kartheepan to act on his behalf.
This quantity of gold had been illegally shipped via 16 containers loaded at the Colombo Port . Priyath Bandu Wickrema , the Ports chairman had seen to it this commodity is shipped without it being recorded in any of the registers. The cash amount realized by the Rajapakse family out of this shipment is US dollars 38000.00 per kilo . One ton is made up of 1000 kilos . Accordingly the total amount collected by the sale is US dollars 13,300 million..! and this transaction had taken place with the knowledge of HSBC bank.

Finally,after every member of his staff left his chambers,a lonely PVRK Prasad stood up in his place and silently offered his prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara..

Then why these hurdles for me and what is this ordeal..??..
I now need Your guidance and approval immediately..
Please offer..”..
During that thick dark hour on the mid night of 7th, November, 1979…
Just a few hours before the commencement of the holy Varuna Japam..
The heavy Bronze bells,hanging in front of the principle deity of Lord Sri Venkateswara,started ringing on their own..
Thus signalling the holy Lord Sri Venkateswara’s much awaited permission and HIS most wanted approval for the Varuna Japam..
That was an amazingly mind-blowing miracle of Lord Sri Venkateswara very difficult for the humanity to understand..
PVRK Prasad was speechless..
This truly amazing miracle occurred,in the holy temple of Tirumala,on the mid night of 7th November,1979…
At that time,right from a street urchin to the holy Lord,the whole of Tirumala was in a very deep sleep…All the otherwise busy streets of the holy temple town were wearinga vacant look..
Except an occasional sound here and there,the whole of the Tirumala hill shrine wasfilled with absolute silence..
And exactly during that dark hour…
Breaking all the silence…
This miracle occurred and occurred quite suddenly taking the entire hill shrine of Tirumala by surprise.
Thong…Thonggg…Thonggggg..
The huge Bronze bells,that were hanging in front of the principal deity of Lord Sri Venkatewsara in the holy Bangaru Vaakili (Sanctum Sanctorum) of the Tirumala Tirupati temple started ringing on their own.without anyone touching them,sending waves of heavy metal sound across the whole of the Tirumala hill shrine.
The security staff,the police,the pilgrims,the officials,the temple staff,the Archaks and the Purohits,who were shocked by the huge sound of the Bronze bells,woke up startled and came running to the main Temple.
They all stood there,outside the temple,watching in utter shock and disbelief, unable to know “..how the huge bronze bells – hanging in the heavily guarded and fully locked up Bangaru Vaakili (Sanctum Sanctorum) – could ring on their own,without any one touching them..??..”
Shocking them further,the bells rang in that fashion for a few more minutes and later stopped on their own…It was a dream state for all those gathered there; an unbelievably true state.
Later,for three full days,amidst chanting of the Vedic hymns,the holy Varuna Japam was performed strictly according to the Vedas and strictly according to the instructions given by the noble Sri Uppuluri Ganapati Sastry..
After that,once all the rituals of the Varuna Japam were completed on the third and final day,it was supposed to rain immediately..
But there were still no signs of any rain from any corner..
After the final rituals,carrying the Ceremonial Deities in their hands,all the Rithviks were returning to the main temple..
PVRK Prasad,the special invitees,the engineers,the board officials,the visitors, the pilgrims,the security staff,members from the press were also silently following them..
There was an utter disappointment in everyone’s face..
“Except tear drops in our eyes,there’s not a drop of rain anywhere nearby..” someone from the press commented..
And then it happened..
Perhaps the biggest miracle…
All of them were very silently walking back towards the main temple and were still hundred paces away from the actual destination..
Before they could realize and before they could run for their shelter..
Making a huge thunderous noise…
The skies opened up…
And it started raining heavily..Very heavily indeed..
An unbelievable sight… Seen to be believed..
None of them was carrying an umbrella and before they could all run into the main temple for shelter,they were fully drenched in rain..
Joy.. Ecstasy.. Surprise.. Disbelief..
Background.
Greatly disturbed by the acute water crisis,P V R K Prasad,the Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board called for an emergency meeting of his executive staff to discuss about the various measures that need to be taken to combat the on going water crisis on the holy Tirumala hill…
He had a marathon discussion with all his water board engineers.
Those engineers not only pleaded complete helplessness but also warned theirExecutive Officer,saying “Sir,the tanks and reservoirs on the Tirumala hill shrine have very little water reserves now..They can only be served for a few more days and not any more…”
At length they discussed about various other options to withstand the water crisis for a few more days..Every one suggested..”..more sanctions be imposed on the consumption of water on the holy hill shrine..”
In those days,in addition to the twenty five thousand visitors per day,the holy Tirumala temple town had about six thousand population living there..Water sanctions were already being imposed to the maximum level and any further sanctions will only paralyze the human life there…
So no further sanctions…
Then,what..???
Someone suggested to put a restriction on the number of daily pilgrims visiting the holy Tirumala hill shrine…
At that point,the Executive Officer said..”most of the pilgrims who visit Tirumala,plan their visit months in advance..It would be cruel on our part to stop them now..”
“..Secondly,there is no such legislation in TTD books to prevent any devotee of Lord Sri Venkateswara from visiting His holy hill shrine…Even otherwise,we are here to serve His devotees but not to put restrictions on their visits..”…
He concluded the meeting…
Later Sri Sastry identified a few Rithviks and instructed them to go to Tirumala to perform the holy Varuna Japam.
After doing all the astrological calculations, PVRK Prasad decided to conduct the Varuna Japam on 1, November,1979…
But unfortunately the Rithviks,who were to conduct the Varuna Japam,could not come on time to Tirumala..
And as a result..
The Varuna Japam was indefinitely postponed
A couple of days have passed…
In the mean time the water crisis,on the holy Tirumala hill,deepened further..Pleading total helplessness,the engineers of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam board told PVRK Prasad…
“Sir…it is going to be impossible for us to supply water to the pilgrims for more than a week now ..”…”And if that happens sir..”,they warned…
“The holy temple town of Tirumala Tirupati has to be indefinitely closed down..”
And in such case of an indefinite closure then PVRK Prasad,as the official head of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam board,would go down in the history of TTD as it’s most unpopular Executive Officer…
With a blazing Sun rocking the holy temple town of Tirumala and with no signs of any clouds anywhere nearby,PVRK Prasad was a disturbed man..
Annamacharyas keerthanas are quite to popular day,thanks to MS Subbulakshmi a Noble Soul of Dedication to God, Maha Periyava of Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt.
MS. as she is fondly called ,MS Subbulakshmi is a Noble soul who with her dedication to God and Maha Periyava of Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt proved that by Emoting songs with total identification would take one nearer to God.
One has to feel it by listening to MS.
MS, at one point of time was undergoing a financial crisis;being a pair of high self esteem MS and her husband Sadsivam never let it be known to others their condition and MS, as usual went on donating her income to the Lord.
“The noble couple of M.S. Subbulakshmi (MS) and Sadasivam is in a serious financial crisis and need some urgent help. Please plan something to bring them out of this crisis immediately”. In the beginning of 1979 PVRK Prasad, the Executive Officer Of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) received two such urgent telegram messages from His Holiness the Paramacharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati and from His Holiness Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba Of Puttaparthi”
What transpired later is something to heard from the narrator.

Here it is.
“What happened to MS and why did she land in such a situation that demanded the intervention of divine personalities?” and why do the divine personalities want Prasad to help?
MS has millions of fans all over the world and they will not keep quite if they come to know that their beloved music queen is going through such a bad financial crisis. However, the noble couple will not accept any unsolicited favor and it is now for the TTD to plan something for her and see that she’s adequately compensated for that. TTD has done that earlier and something similar should be done now and that is also what the holy giants are expecting Prasad to do.
However again, it is not as simple as it sounds and there is no better person than Prasad to understand that. Prasad conducted an immediate inquiry through his official sources in the city of Madras, where the noble couple lives, and found out that “MS and Sadasivam have sold off their Kalki estate in Madras and moved into a small rented house in Valluvar Kottam, a desolate place those days in the suburbs of old Madras.Sadasivam was running a newspaper by name Kalki that unfortunately ran into huge losses forcing the couple to resort to such an extreme measure of selling their huge asset to clear off a large amount of loans”.
This unpleasant information really saddened Prasad, a great fan of MS. Wiping off his tears he stood in front of the huge portrait of Lord Venkateswara with folded hands and made a very humble submission. ”Swamy, singing your bhajans all over the world this great lady served you with utmost devotion so far in her life. Organizing everything for her in time Sadasivam was always there with her at every point.
Although she could have demanded any amount of money from the organizers of her concerts she was always happy with whatever was offered to her. Above all, she has donated most of her earnings to charity and now at this stage of her life is this what you offer her Swamy ? Don’t you think this is unfair? They are also couple of high self esteem and do not seek favors from anyone not even from God.. How do you expect them to lead a normal life hereafter? I am really feeling sad for them now and don’t know what to do. Swamy Venkateswara, it is for YOU to guide me properly and help me in doing something for her immediately.”
Without wasting any more time Prasad called for an emergency meeting of the TTD Board and sought measures from its experts to provide whatsoever relief possible to MS immediately…
A real tricky situation arose for the government run body to offer some relief to a great personality like MS who definitely deserves a better and more appropriate attention. But quite miraculously and almost immediately that appropriate attention came from none other than The Holy Lord Sri Venkateswara Himself. And this incident is a standing testimony to that.
That evening a much disturbed Prasad went to offer his last prayers of the day to Lord Sri Venkateswara, the presiding deity of the holy Tirumala temple. After offering his prayers, Prasad was walking out of the main temple and exactly at that time a very small incident occurred there…Quite miraculously; this small incident later heralded a golden era in the history of Indian classical music. As he was walking out of the main temple Prasad found a small group of poor singers sitting right in front of the temple singing bhajans in praise of the holy Lord. As though halted by an invisible hand Prasad stood there for a few minutes. He was spellbound by the amazing talent of those folk singers and more so by their rustic style of singing.
After a few more moments of silent listening Prasad smiled and smiled with a great sense of relief and smiled with an amazing feeling of satisfaction. Watching Prasad smile the holy Lord smiled and watching the holy Lord smile the whole of Tirumala smiled and watching the whole of Tirumala smile the five elements of Nature too smiled. And later those historic smiles scripted an epoch making chapter in the history of Indian classical music that not only provided immense relief to MS forever but also launched her into immortality in the world of devotional music that later earned her a well deserved highest civilian award of India, the “Bharat Ratna”.
The very next morning a much more relaxed Prasad left for Kanchi and met Kanchi Paramacharya in His holy abode. After he was granted private audience by the Paramacharya of Kanchi,Prasad explained Him in detail about his plan of action to offer assistance to MS . Prasad said “Swamy, after receiving your telegram about MS amma I was very disturbed.I called for an emergency meeting of the TTD executive board and asked for suggestions but nothing concrete came out. With a disturbed mind, the same evening I visited Lord Venkateswara and sought His guidance and blessings in helping MS amma immediately. As I was coming out of the holy sanctum sanctorum I saw a group of poor singers sitting in front of the main temple singing Annamacharya keerthanas in praise of the holy Lord. Not only was I spell bound by their devotional singing but also felt immensely light and happy as a great idea to help MS was born in my mind at that moment. I have then decided to visit your Holiness and explain in detail about my plan of action”..
Prasad said “Maastaaru,you know pretty well that TTD does quite a lot of promotional activities to promote rich Indian culture and traditional values. Now we want to actively promote many Annamacharya keerthanas that are so far unknown to the world..Our plan is to bring out a five volume LP records (Long Play microgroove record used for recording sound in analog format for gramophone records in olden days) containing some rare Annamacharya keerthanas. Each volume may have up to ten keerthanas and all in all there may be about fifty keerthanas in the whole album.”
Initially Sadasivam felt very happy with the offer but rejected it when he came to know that the keerthanas are written in Telugu language. He said “Our sincere thanks to TTD for coming up with this offer but you know pretty well that M.S likes to have command over the language she sings in. Though in Telugu, she has still recorded many Thyagaraja keerthanas earlier as she was practicing them since her childhood. However, to do the same now at this age will be very difficult for her since she never practiced Annamacharya keerthanas so far and it will be a herculean task for her to do it now..She needs at least one week time to practice one Telugu keerthana and you say there are about fifty keerthanas for which she may need almost an year…At this age of sixty three it’s not fair to trouble her with such a strenuous job…It doesn’t work Prasad and am very sorry for that.”
As the problem came back to square one, Prasad started feeling jittery and nervous. With all the helplessness in the world he gave a blank look at Lord Venkateswara in the portrait lying in front of him. And it was exactly at that moment, the Great Music Queen walked In Prasad and other TTD officials quickly got up in her honor and greeted her with folded hands. Requesting them to feel comfortable she then looked at the portrait of Lord Venkateswara that was kept on a small table in front of her.
What happened later was a scene to be seen to be believed. With extreme devotion MS immediately picked up the portrait with both her hands; closed her eyes for almost a minute; offered silent prayers to her beloved Lord Venkateswara in the portrait; later with tears running down her cheeks she gently placed her head at His holy feet saying in a low tone “Perumaal,ennai aasirvadhikka ithana dhooram neengale vandhuttela .. ??” (Tamil) (Oh my Venkateswara did you come all the way to bless me).
What a voice? What a devotion? And what a total surrender to her Lord Perumal? How did she get it and where did she get it from..??But why is that hidden pain in the great singer’s voice..??What happened? Is it due to the poor and stress filled conditions this evergreen queen of music is forced to live in for some time? Hey Bhagwan, what a painful time for this great lady?..
n the meantime Sadasivam gave a brief explanation to MS in Tamil about the Annamacharya music album proposal from TTD. She immediately said”..It’s a God sent opportunity to me and am ready to face any hardships to accomplish this task.I have got a chance to offer my services to Perumal and I will not let this opportunity go” With her firm statement MS brought smiles on everyone’s face there.
After a lot of deliberations it was decided not to burden the music queen with too much of practice and confine Annamachaya keerthanas only to first three LP records and then fill the rest of the two records with great Sanskrit literary works of other divine personalities.
Thus according to their revised plan the Annamacharya music album shall contain three LP records with rare Annamacharya keerhanas like Brahma kadigina paadamu, Naanaati batuku naatakamu,Jo Acyutananda Jojo Mukunda,Sri Mannarayana and a few more gems.
The other two LP records shall include Ganesha Pancharatnam, Madhurashtakam, Gita Govindam, Nama Ramayanam, Hanuman Chalisa, Lakshmi ashtotram, Sri Venkateswara Karavalamba Sthotram, Govindashtakam, Kanakadhara Sthavam, Durga Pancharatnam, Ranganadha Gadyam, Dwadasa Sthotram and Sivashtakam.
After all the discussions related to the music album are over, then came the most crucial phase of finalizing remuneration to the music queen which Prasad was feeling very nervous about.
Since that was the main motive behind their gathering there, Prasad mustered some courage to initiate the dialogue by saying “Amma,we are all very happy that you have agreed to take up this assignment. .May your Perumal’s blessings be with your family forever..Now with your kind permission Ammaa, I would also like to discuss about the remuneration” Prasad has not yet completed the sentence…”
Thirupathi, pilgrim center dedicated to Lord Balaji, is the second largest income generator(deposited by believers for having realised their prayers,)next only to Vatican,is in South India.

பெடிப்பதில்லை. ஏழுமலையாக் திருவுருவச்சிலைக்கு 365 நாளும்
பச்சைக்கற்பூரம் தடவுகிறார்கள். ஆனாலும்வெடிப்புஏற்படுவதில்லை.
3. எந்தக் கருங்கல் சிலையானாலும் எங்காவது ஒர் இடத்தில் சிற்பியின்
உளிபட்டிருக்கும் இடம் தெரியும்.. உலோகச்சிலையானாலும் உலோ கத்தை உருக்கி
வார்த்த இடம் தெரியும். ஏழுமலையான் திருவுருவச்சிலையில் அப்படி எதுவும்
அடையாளம் தெரியவில்லை. எந்த கருங்கல் சிலையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டாலும்
சுரசுரப்பாக இருக்கும். ஆனால் ஏழுமலையான் திருமேனியில் நுணுக்க
வேலைப்பாடுகள் எல்லாம் மெருகு போடப்பட்டது போல் இருக்கின்றன. ஏழுமலையான்
விக்ரகத்தில் நெற்றிச்சுட்டி, காதணிகள், புருவங்கள், நாகாபரணங்கள்
எல்லாம் நகைக்கு பாலீஷ் போட்டது போல் பளபளப்பாகஇருக்கின்றன.
4. ஏழுமலையான் திருவுருவச்சிலை எப்போதும் 110 டிகிரி ஃபாரன்கீட்
வெப்பத்தில் இருக்கிறது. திருமலை 3000 அடி உயரத்தில் உள்ள
குளிர்பிரதேசம். அதிகாலை 4.30 மணிக்கு குளிர்ந்த நீர், பால் மற்றும்
திரவியங்களால் அபிஷேகம் செய்கிறார்கள். ஆனால், அபிஷேகம் முடிந்தவுடன்
ஏழுமலையானுக்கு வியர்க்கிறது.பீதாம்பரத்தால் வியர்வையை ஒற்றி
எடுக்கிறார்கள். வியாழக்கிழமை அபிஷேகத்திற்கு முன்னதாக, நகைகளைக்
கழற்றும் போது, ஆபரணங்கள் எல்லாம் சூடாகக்கொதிக்கின்றன.
திருப்பதி ஆலயம், அதன் வழிபாடு, உண்டியல் வசூல், பூஜை முறைகள், சரித்திர
சம்பவங்கள் அனைத்தும் அதிசய நிகழ்வுகளாகஇருக்கின்றன.
1. திருப்பதி திருக்கோயில் சமையல்கட்டு மிககூம் பெரியதாகும். பொங்கல்,
தயிர்சாதம்,புளிச்சாதம், சித்ரான்னம், வடை, முறுக்கு, ஜிலேபி, அதி ரசம்,
போளி, அப்பம், மெளகாரம், லட்டு, பாயசம், தோசை, ரவாகேசரி, பாதாம்கேசரி,
முந்திரிப்பருப்பு கேசரி போன்றவை தினமும் பெரிய அளவில் தயார்
செய்யப்படுகின்றன.
2. ஏழுமலையானுக்கு தினமும் ஒரு புதிய மண்சட்டி வாங்குகிறார்கள். இதில்
தயிர்சாதம் தவிர வேறு எந்த நைவேத்தியமும் கோவில் கர்பக்கிருகத்திற்குக்
குலசேகரப் படியைத் தாண்டாது. வைரம், வைடூரியம், தங்கப்பாத்திரங்கள்
எதுவும் குலசேகரப்படியைத் தாண்டச் செல்லாது. ஆண்டவனுக்கு நைவேத்தியம்
செய்யப்பட்ட எச்சில் மண்சட்டியும், தயிர்சாதமும் ஒரு பக்தனுக்குக்
கிடைக்கப் பெற்றால் அது மிகப்பெரிய பாக்கியமாகும்.
3. ஏழுமலையான் உடை 21 முழ நீளமும் 6 கிலோ எடையும் கொண்ட புடவை பட்டு
பீதாம்பரமாகும். இந்த ஆடையை கடையில் வாங்க முடியாது. திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தான
அலுவலகத்தில் 12500 ரூபாய் செலுத்த வேண்டும்.வாரத்தில் ஒரு முறை
வெள்ளிக்கிழமை அன்று மட்டும் தான் வஸ்திரம் சாத்துவார்கள். இது மேல்
சாத்து வஸ்திரம். பணம் செலுத்திய பிறகு வஸ்திரம் சாத்துவதற்கு மூன்று
வருடங்கள் காத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
4. உள் சாத்து வஸ்திரம் ஒரு செட் இருபதாயிரம் ரூபாய் கட்டணமாகும்.ஒவ்வொரு
வெள்ளிக்கிழமையும் 15 வஸ்திரங்கள் சார்த்துவதற்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படும்.
பணம் செலுத்திய பிறகு வஸ்திரம் சாத்துவதற்கு பத்து வருடங்கள் காத்திருக்க
வேண்டும்.
5. பக்தர்கள் சமர்பிக்கும் வஸ்திரங்கள் தவிர அரசாங்கம் சமர்பிக்கும் சீர்
வஸ்திரங்கள் ஆண்டுக்கு இரண்டு முறை சாத்தப்படுகிறது.
6. ஏழுமலை ஆண்டவனுக்கு அபிஷேகம் செய்ய இன்று கட்டணம் செலுத்தினால் மூன்று
ஆண்டுகள் காத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
7. அபிஷேகத்திற்காக ஸ்பெயினில் இருந்து குங்குமப்பூ, நேபாளத்திலிருந்து
கஸ்தூரி, சைனாவிலிருந்து புனுகு, பாரிஸ் நகரத்திலிருந்து வாசனை
திரவியங்கள் முதலிய உயர்ந்த பொருட்கள் வரவழைக்கப்பட்டு,
தங்கத்தாம்பாளத்தில் சந்தனத்தோடு கரைக்கப்படும் 51 வட்டில் பால் அபிஷேகம்
செய்யப்படும். பிறகு கஸ்தூரி சாத்தி, புனுகு தடவப்படும், காலை 4,30 மணி
முதல் 5,30 மணி வரை அபிஷேகம் நடைபெறுகிறது. அபிஷேகத்திற்கு சுமார் ஒரு
லட்ச ரூபாய் செலவு ஆகும்.
8. ஐரோப்பாவில் உள்ள ஆம்ஸ்டர்டாமில் இருந்து பக்குவப்படுத்தப்பட்ட ரோஜா
மலர்கள் பக்தர்களால் திருப்பதிக்கு விமானத்தில் அனப்பி வைக்கப்படுகின்றன.
ஒரு ரோஜா மலரின் விலைசுமார்80ரூபாய்.
9. சீனாவிலிருந்து சீனச்சூடம், அகில், சந்தனம், அம்பர், தக்கோலம்,
இலவங்கம், குங்குமம், தமாலம், நிரியாசம் போன்ற வாசனைப் பொருட்கள்
ஏழுமலையான் திருக்கோயிலுக்காக அனுப்பப்படுகின்றன.
10. ஏழுமலையானின் நகைகளின் மதிப்பு ரூ.1000 கோடி, இவருயை நகைகளை
வைத்துக்கொள்ள இடம் இடமும் இல்லை. சாத்துவதற்கு நேரமும் இல்லை. அதனால்
ஆண்டிற்கு ஒரு முறை உபரியாக உள்ள நகைகளை செய்தித்தாட்களில்
விளம்பரப்படுத்தி ஏலம் விடுகிறார்கள்.
11. ஏழுமலையானின் சாளக்கிராம தங்கமாலை 12கிலோ எடை. இதை சாத்துவதற்கு
மூன்று அர்ச்சகர்கள் தேவை. சூரிய கடாரி 5 கிலோ எடை. பாதக்கவசம் 375 கிலோ.
கோவிலில் இருக்கும் ஒற்றைக்கல் நீலம் உலகில் யாரிடமும் கிடையாது. இதன்
மதிப்பு ரூ.100கோடி.
12. மாமன்னர்களான இராசேந்திர சோழர், கிருஷ்ண தேவராயர், அச்சதராயர்
போன்றோர் .ஏழுமலையானுக்கு பல காணிக்கைகளையும், அறக்கட்டளைகளையும் செய்து
அவற்றை கல்வெட்டுகளிலும், செப்பேடுகளிலும் பொறித்துள்ளனர். சோழ அரசியும்
இங்கு வந்து காணிக்கை சமர்பித்து இருக்கிறார்.
13. ஆஜானுபாகுவாக இருக்கும் மூலவர் ஏழுமலை ஆண்டவனைப்போலவே, அபிஷேக
அலங்காரம் செய்து பார்க்க ஒரு சிறிய விக்கிரகம் கி.பி.966 ஜுன் 8ஆம் தேதி
வெள்ளியால் செய்யப்பட்டது. இந்த விக்ரகத்திற்கு பல்லவ குறுநில மன்னன்
சக்தி விடங்கனின் பட்டத்து அரசி காடவன் பெருந்தேவி நகைகளைத்தந்து,
பூஜைக்கு அறக்கட்டளையும் வைத்தார். முதலாம் குலோத்துங்க சோழன் திருமலை
தேடிவந்து காணிக்கைசெலுத்திஉள்ளார்.
14. திருப்பதி ஓவியங்கள் 300 ஆண்டுகள் பழமையானவை.
15. வெள்ளிக்கிழமைகளில் வில்வ இலை அர்ச்சனைக்கு உபயோகப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
மார்கழிமாத அர்சனைக்கும் உபயோகப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
16. சிவராத்திரி அன்று க்ஷேத்ர பாலிகா என்ற உற்சவம் நடைபெறுகிறது. அன்று
உற்சவப்பெருமானுக்கு வைரத்தில் விபூதி நெற்றிப்படடை சாத்தப்பட்டு
திருவீதி உலா நடைபெருகிறது. தாளப்பாக்கம் அன்னமய்யா, ஏழுமலையானை
பரப்பிரம்மமாகவும், சிவாம்சம் பொருந்திய ஈஸ்வரனாகவும், சக்தி
ஸ்வரூபமாகவும் பாடி, அந்த பாடல்களை செப்பேடுகளில் எழுதிவைத்துள்ளார்.
திருப்புகழ் பாடிய அருணகிரிநாதப் பெருமான் திருப்பதிக்கோயிலுக்கு
வந்திருக்கிறார். அவரும் அன்னமய்யாவும் சமகாலத்தவர்கள். சங்கீத
மும்மூர்த்திகளில் ஒருவரான முத்துசாமி தீட்சிதர் சிறந்த வித்யா உபாசகர்,
மந்திர சாஸ்திரம் தெரிந்தவர், நூற்றுக்கணக்கான தெய்வங்கள் மீது
பாடியுள்ளார். ஏழுமயைான் மீது சேஷசல நாமம் வராளி ராகத்தில் பாடியுள்ளார்.
17. அபிஷேகத்தின் போது ஏழுமலையான் தனது மூன்றாவது கண்ணை திறக்கிறார் என்ற
ஐதீகம் உள்ளது.
18. ஏழுமலையானின் ஸ்தல விருட்க்ஷம் புளிய மரம்.
19. எந்த சாத்வீக, சாந்தமான தெய்வத்தின் திருவுருவச்சிலையிலும் கையில்
ஒரு ஆயுதமாகிலும் இருக்கும். ஆனால் ஏழுமலையான் திருவுருவச்சலையில் எந்த
ஆயுதமும் கிடையாது. அவர் நிராயுதபாணி. அதனால்தான் தமிழ் இலக்கியத்தில்
நம் முன்னோர்களால், வெறுங்கை வேடன் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டார்.
20. 1781 ஆம் ஆண்டு பிரிட்டிஷ் பீரங்கிப்படை தக்கோலம் என்ற இடத்தில்
முகாமிட்டிருந்தது. அப்படையின் 33 ஆவது பிரிவைச்சேர்ந்த லெவெல்லியன் என்ற
போர் வீரர் படுகாயம் அடைந்தார். அவர் குணமடைய ஏழுமலையானை
பிராத்தித்திருகிறார். குணமடைந்ததும் ஓர் இந்து சிப்பாய் மூலம்
நேர்த்திக்கடன்செலுத்தியிருக்கிறார்.
21. ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் சர் தாமஸ் மன்றோ, கர்னல் ஜியோ ஸ்டிராட்டன் போன்றவர்கள்
ஏழுமலையானின் பக்தர்கள் ஆவர்.
22. திருமலையின் புனிதத்தன்மை கருதி 1759 முதல் 1874 வரை எந்த
ஆங்கிலேயரும் மலை ஏறவில்லை. ஆங்கிலப்பாதிரிகள் மலையில் ஏதாவது ஒரு
பகுதியில் ஒரு சிலுவை நட விரும்பினார்கள். ஆனால் அதற்கு ஆங்கிலேயத்
தளபதிகளே அனுமதி அளிக்கவில்லை. திருமலை திருக்கோயிலில் நித்யபடி பூஜைகள்
நடக்க வேண்டும் என்று ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் விரும்பினார்கள். பூஜைகள் சரிவர
நடக்காவிட்டால் தங்கள் ஆட்சிக்கு பங்கம் வரும் எனக் கவலைப்பட்டார்கள்.
23. திருப்பதி அலமேல்மங்கைக்கு உள்பாவாடை கத்வால் என்ற ஊரில் பருத்தியில்
தயார் செய்யப்படுகிறது. செஞ்சு இனத்தைச்சேர்ந்த நெசவாளர்கள் இதை
பயபக்தியுடன் நெய்கிறார்கள். உள் பாவாடை சீமாட்டியின் திருமேனியில்
படுவதால், இதை நெய்யும் போது நெசவாளர்கள் மூன்று வேளை குளிப்பார்கள்.
அவர்கள் மது, மாமிசம் உண்ணமாட்டார்கள். வெள்ளிக்கிழமை அபிஷேகத்திந்கு
பரிமள அறையில் வியாழன் இரவு அறைத்து தயார் செய்யப்படுகிறது. குங்குமப்பூ
கலவையும் அபிஷேகத்திக்கு சேர்கப்படுகிறது. வெளிநாடுகளிலிருந்து வாசனை
திரவியங்கள் பக்தர்கள் அனுப்பிய வண்ணம் உள்ளனர். ஒரு வாரத்திற்கு
ரூ,50000 மதிப்புள்ள வாசனை திரவியங்கள் வருகின்றன.
24. ஏழுமலையான் வாரத்தில் நான்கு நாட்கள் அம்பாளாகவும், 2 நாட்கள்
விஷ்னுவாகவும், ஒரு நாள் சிவனாகவும் கருதப்பட்டு பூஜை நடைபெற்று
வந்துள்ளது.
25. ஏழுமலையானின் அபிஷேக நீர் குழாய் மூலம் புஷ்கரணியில் கலக்கிறது. ஆகவே
இது புனிதமான நீராகும். இங்கே குளித்துவிட்டு நீரில் நின்ற படியே இரு
கைகளாலும் தண்ணீரை எடுத்து குளத்திலேயே விடவேண்டும். இது விசேஷ
வழிபாடாகும்.
வெள்ளிக்கிழமை அதிகாலை அபிஷேகத்திற்கு முன்பு ஒரு விசேஷ சாத்து முறை
நடக்கும்.வடகலை சம்பிரதாயத்தில் ” வேங்கடமெனப்பெற்ற” என்ற பாசுரமும்,
தனியன்களும் இடம் பெறும். சாத்துமுறையின் போது பூ, வஸ்திரம் இல்லாமல்
ஏழுமலையான் திருமேனியுடன் இருப்பார். முதலில் ஒரு தீபாராதனை
எடுக்கப்படும். பிறகு தென் கலை சாத்து முறை சேவிக்கப்படும். பிறகு
நைவேத்தியம் செய்யப்படும். பிறகு ஒரு தீபாராதனை செய்யப்படும். ஏழுமலையான்
அந்த தீப ஒளியில் கண்ணைப் பறிக்கும் அழகோடு இருப்பார்.
26. கி.பி.1543ல் விஜயநகர மாமன்னர் அச்சுதராயர் பத்மாவதிதாயாருக்கு
திருக்கோயில் எழுப்பி கும்பாபிஷேகம் செய்துள்ளார். கி.பி.1764ல் நிஜாம்
தெளலா என்பவனின் தலைமையில் வந்த முஸ்லீம் படைகளால் இடித்து
தரைமட்டமாக்கப்பட்டன. இதன் இடிபாடுகள் இன்றைக்கும் உள்ளன.
27. திருவில்லிப்புத்தூர் கோவிலில் இருந்து ஸ்ரீ ஆண்டாள் அணிந்த மாலைகள்
திருபதி கொண்டு வரப்பட்டு ஏழுமலை ஆண்டவனுக்கு சாத்தப்படுகிறது. ஸ்ரீ
ஆண்டாள் ஏழுமலையானை கடவுளாக வழிபட்டு வாழ்த்தி வணங்கிணார்.
28. திருமலை திருக்கோவிலில் 1180 கல்வெட்டுக்கள் உள்ளன. இதில் 236 பல்லவ,
சோழ, பாண்டியர் காலத்தவை. 169 கல்வெட்டுக்கள் சாளுவ வம்ச மன்னர்கள்
காலத்தவை. 229 கிருஷ்ண தேவராயர் காலத்தவை. 251 அச்சுதராயர் காலத்தவை. 147
சதாசிவராயர் காலத்தவை. 135 கொண்டை வீடு அரசர் காலத்தவை. நந்திவர்மன்
(பல்லவர்) ஆண்ட கி.பி.830 தொடங்கி 1909 வரை உள்ளன. கல்வெட்டுகளில் 50
கல்வெட்டுக்கள் தான் தெலுங்கு, கன்னட மொழிகளில் உள்ளன. மீதம் 1130
கல்வெட்டுக்கள் தமிழில் தான் உள்ளன.
