    As I have been attempting to study the references to Sanatana Dharma through various sources, including works in other languages, I have requested Beatrix Laurens, France, (a regular reader of my posts)  to suggest French references.

    I am aware that French is the most suited langauge suited for Philosophy, apart from Sanskrit.

    I was sure that there are bound to be references.

    I was suggested a site and I have been promised more.

    As I was going through the site, I chanced upon a Link that threw up interesting information about Lord Krishna.

    I shall be writing on Rama Influence, sourced from the site mentioned by my friend a later as I have to study the material in-depth as it makes startling revelations.

    Now,

    I have been able to establish from reliable sources that.

    1.Christianity was nothing new and was sourced from elsewhere.

    2.There was Sanatana Dharma presence in the middle east.

    3.Interesting that The Jews were the descendants of the Yadavas, Lord Krishna’s Clan.

    Twenty two tribes left India after the Mahabharata War.

    After the epic battle of Mahabharata, exodus from India began .

    Many tribes fled from India towards the North and West.

    It has come to light that one of the tribes, Ailahs fled to the middle east and the Arabs called their God as Allah, from the Sanskrit speaking tribes Ailah.

    Ailas were a part of Yadavas and Pauravas who took part in the Mahabharata battle.

    And this tribe did not stop here.

    They proceeded further west.

    And landed in Samaria.

    Additional information has come to my notice about the Temple of Solomon( I shall be writing on this later) and about  Krishna in Greece and Krishna was the God of the Greeks.

    ‘In about 1900 BC, hundreds of thousands of native Indians emptied Northern and Central India and fled to the Middle East after Krishna’s Dwarka sank under the water.( I have reservations on the date here)

    The word Jerusalem is derived from Sanskrit: Yadu-Ishalayam, meaning “The Holy Rock of the Yadu Tribe.” Lord Krishna was a Yadu. The Moslems still revere this huge rock under the Dome of the Rock on Jerusalem Temple Mount.

    Until now, I have been wondering why Krishna’s name did not appear in Jerusalem after his arrival there. Yet, the name of the king of Jerusalem,Melchizedek, the mentor of Abraham, did. I once thought thatMelchizedek was the name of a certain person. I made this mistake by thinking that a prince and a son of a Kassite king, Melik-Sadaksina, was a supernaturally endowed prince, magician and spiritual giant. I thought he had accompanied Krishna, Abraham, and Sarah to the Middle East. Later on, I came to realize that the Sanskrit word Sadhaka applies to anyone who is an adept, a magician, one possessed of supernatural powers gained by worshipping a deity or by uttering magical chants……

    ‘Krishna and his family probably fled to Iraq. But I’m certain that they went to Jerusalem. The word Jerusalem is derived from Sanskrit: Yadu-Ishalayam, meaning “The Holy Rock of the Yadu Tribe.”

    I have additionally shown in this article that the New Testament words for Jesus all refer to Lord Krishna and his holy names. The early Christians were convinced that Melchizedek was just a prior incarnation of Jesus Christ, The remains of the Nag Hammadi manuscript entitled Melchizedekseem to confirm this. Melchizedek, king of Jerusalem and mentor of his son Abraham, was none other than ancient India’s God Krishna. The early Christians thought that Jesus was a reincarnation of Krishna, for who else had the name Yesu Kristna, Isa, Krishna, etc.?”

    Many people don’t understand what is meant by Joshua’s remark about “the other side of the flood.” They think he was referring to the Noachide flood. He was referring to the time when God Krishna’s Dwarka and Haran province, in today’s Gujarat, sank under water in about 1900 BC. Abraham, Sarah, and their followers escaped southward, to the coastal ports of Kalyan and Sopara (Sophir or Sauvira), in Maharashthra. From there, they sailed northward to the Middle East. Sarah (Sarsvati) embarked from the port of Kalyan. At one time, Kalyan was located closer to the coast, but is now located more than 50 miles inland. Sarasvati is the patron saint of Kalyan. The patron saint of Sophir or Sauvira was Parasu Rama (possibly a name of our biblical Abraham/Brahma).

    Starting from Africa,, Vikings.Pagans, Romans, Polynesian Islands, you would find that the ancient history of these people are either lost or at best very hazy.

     

    Muslims did not lag behind in this quest for colonization and zeal to spread their Religion, Islam.

     

    Recently I found that the traces of the ancient Religion of the Africans have been erased and you would find absolutely no information on their Religion

     

    excepting about Christianity and Islam.

     

    What little is known of the Great African Religion is doctored and is subject to some derogatory terms under the guise of describing it by

     

    “Syncretization” and the like.

    Now it seems that Saudi Arabia is also on this list.

     

    Nothing seems to be there that was before the advent of Islam.

     

    Arabs are described even today as uncouth, use flowery language,indecisive and are generally unreliable.

     

    As if to compensate this patronizingly it is stated that they are very hospitable. that’s all.

    People of Saudi Arabia seem to know nothing about their History sans the ones  relating to Islam or during the Crusades!

     

    They have taken to the description of their ancestors having been labelled a Nomads!

    Seems to me that this tallies with the kingdoms and Land Mass describe din Hindu Purans.

    Arabia is an abbreviation. The original word even today is Arbasthan. It originates in Arvasthan. As observed earlier Sanskrit “V” changes into “B”. Arva in Sanskrit means a horse. Arvasthan signifies a land of horses, and as we all know Arabia is famous for its horses.

    In the 6th and 7th centuries A.D. a wave of effecting a complete break with the past spread over West Asia. All links with the past were broken, images smashed, scriptures destroyed, education discontinued and the entire West Asian region took a plunge in abysmal ignorance which lasted for centuries thereafter and perhaps persists to a certain extent even today because if in the whole world modern scientific and educational developments find stubborn and entrenched resistance anywhere it is in the West Asian countries. It is said that the late Saudi Arabia ruler could not permit a radio broadcasting station opened in his own capital because of opposition from his Maulavis. He then resorted to a stratagem. Once while he had his council of Maulavis in attendance he had a radio set switched on to a program of Koranic recitation broadcast from a small transmitting station set up earlier without much ado. The Maulavis were delighted, so goes the report, to hear the word of Allah coming to them as if from nowhere. The king told them that what objections could they have to a mechanism which broadcast the word of Allah. The Maulavis agreed and the small radio broadcasting project was at last ratified.

    According to Encyclopedia Britannica and Séance Islamia the Arabs are ignorant of their own history of the pre-Muslim era. By a strange euphemism they call it a period of ignorance and darkness. Probably no other country in the world has deliberately written off a 2,500 year period of their own history by systematically stamping out and snapping all links with the past. They have wiped the memories of preMuslim era off their minds. So while they chose to remain ignorant of their past ironically enough it is they who dub the pre-Muslim era as a period of ignorance.

    Fortunately we can still trace the history of that preIslamic Arabia. It is a well known adage that there is no such thing as foolproof destruction of all evidence. The pre-Islamic history of Arabia is the story of Indian Kshatriyas over that land, with the people following the Vedic way of life.

    In our attempt to reconstruct the story of pre-Islamic Arabia we begin with the name of the country itself. As explained earlier the name is fully Sanskrit. Its central pilgrim centre, Mecca is also a Sanskrit name. Makha in Sanskrit signifies a sacrificial fire. Since Vedic fire worship was prevalent all over West Asia in pre-Islamic days Makha signifies the place which had an important shrine of fire worship.

    Coinciding with the annual pilgrimage of huge bazaar used to spring up in Makha i.e. Mecca since times immemorial. The annual pilgrimage of Muslims to Mecca is not at all an innovation but a continuation of the ancient pilgrimage. This fact is mentioned in encyclopedias.

    VIKRAMADITYA

    Evidence is now available that the whole of Arabia was part of the great Indian King Vikramaditya’s vast empire. The extent of Vikramaditya’s empire is one of the main reasons for his world wide fame. Incidentally this also explains many intriguing features about Arabia. It could be that Vikramaditya himself had this peninsula named Arvasthan if he was the first Indian monarch to capture it and bring it under his sway.

    The second intriguing aspect is the existence of a Shivalinga or the Mahadeva emblem in the Kaaba shrine in Mecca. Before going into further details about the ancient Vedic rituals and names still clinging to Muslim worship at Mecca we shall see what evidence we have about Arabia having formed part of Vikramaditya’s dominions.

    ANTHOLOGY OF ANCIENT ARABIC POETRY: SAYAR-UL-OKUL

    In Istanbul in Turkey, there is a famous library called Makteb-e-Sultania which is reputed to have the largest collection of ancient West Asian literature. In the Arabic Section of that library is an anthology of ancient Arabic poetry. That anthology was compiled from an earlier work in A.D. 1742 under the orders of the Turkish ruler Sultan Salim.

    The ‘pages’ of that volume are made of HAREER – a kind of silk used for writing on. Each page has a decorative gilded border. It may be recalled that gilding pages of sacred books is an ancient custom associated with old Sanskrit scriptures found in Java and other places. The anthology itself is known as SAYAR-UL-OKUL. It is divided into three parts, the first part contains biographic details and the poetic compositions of pre-Islamic Arabian poets. The second part embodies accounts and verses of poets of the period beginning just after Prophet Mohammad up to the end of Banee- Ummayya dynasty. The third part deals with later poets up to the end of Khalifa Harun-al-Rashid’s times. Incidentally “Banee” means “Vanee” and Ummayya as in Krishnayya are Sanskrit names.

    Abu Amir Abdul Asamai, a distinguished Arabian bard who was the Poet Laureate of Harun-al-Rashid’s court has compiled and edited the anthology.

    The first modern edition of Sayar-ul-Okul anthology was printed and published in Berlin in A.D. 1864. A subsequent edition was published in Beirut in A.D. 1932. This work is regarded as the most important and authoritative anthology of ancient Arabic poetry. It throws considerable light on the social life, customs, manners and entertainment forms in ancient Arabia. The book also contains an elaborate description of the ancient Mecca shrine, the town and the annual fair known as OKAJ which used to be held there every year. This should convince readers that the annual Haj of the Muslims to the Kaaba is only a continuation of the old fair and not a new practice.

    But the OKAJ fair was far from a carnival. It provided a forum for the elite and learned to discuss the social, religious, political, literary and other aspects of the Vedic culture then pervading Arabia. Sayar-ul-Okul asserts that the conclusions reached at those discussions were widely respected throughout Arabia. Mecca, therefore, followed the Varanasi tradition of providing a seat for important discussions among the learned while the masses congregated there for spiritual bliss. The principal shrines at both Varanasi in India and at Mecca in Arvasthan were Shiva temples. Even to this day the central object of veneration at both Mecca and Varanasi continues to be the ancient Mahadeva emblems. It is the Shankara stone which Muslim pilgrims reverently touch and kiss in the Kaaba.

    ENTRY OF NON-MUSLIMS FORBIDDEN

    A few miles away from Mecca is a big signboard which forbids entry to any non-Muslim in the area. This is a reminder of the days when the Shrine was stormed and captured solely for the newly established faith of Islam. The object obviously was to prevent its recapture.

    As the pilgrim proceeds towards Mecca he is asked to shave his head and beard and to don a special sacred attire. This consists of two seamless sheets of white cloth. One is to be worn round the waist and the other over the shoulders. Both these rites are remnants of the old Vedic practice of entering Hindu shrines, clean shaven and with holy seamless spotless white sheets.

    The main shrine in Mecca which houses the Shiva emblem is known as the Kaaba. It is clothed in a black shroud. This custom could also originate from the days when it was thought necessary to discourage its recapture. According to encyclopedias Britannica and Islamia the Kaaba had 360 images. Traditional accounts mention that one of the deities among the 360 destroyed, when the shrine was stormed, was that ofSaturn, another was of the moon and yet another was one called Allah. In India the practice of Navagraha puja that is worship of the nine planets is still in vogue. Two of these nine are the Saturn and the moon. Besides, the moon is always associated with Lord Shankara. A Crescent is always painted across the forehead of the Shiva emblem. Since the presiding deity at the Kaaba shrine was Lord Shiva i.e. Shankara, the crescent was also painted on it. It is that crescent which is now adopted as a religious symbol of Islam. Another Hindu tradition is that wherever there is a Shiva shrine the sacred stream of Ganga that is the Ganges must also co-exist. True to that tradition a sacred fount exists near the Kasba. Its water is held sacred because it was regarded as but another Ganga since pre-Islamic times. Muslim pilgrims visiting the Kaaba shrine go around it seven times. In no other mosque does this perambulation prevail. Hindus invariably perambulate around their shrines. This is yet another proof that the Kaaba shrine is a pre-Islamic Shiva temple where the Hindu practice of perambulation is still meticulously observed.

    ‘According to tradition, Chandragupta II achieved power by assassinating a weak elder brother. Inheriting a large empire, he continued the policy of his father, Samudra Gupta, by extending control over neighbouring territories. From 388 to 409 he subjugated Gujarat, the region north of Bombay (Mumbai), Saurastra (now Saurashtra), in western India, and Malwa, with its capital at Ujjain. These territories were ruled by Shaka chiefs, whose ancestors were Scythian tribes from the regions around Lake Balkhash (Balqash) in Kazakhstan. To strengthen his southern flank, he arranged a marriage between his daughter Prabhavati and Rudrasena II, king of the Vakatakas. When Rudrasena died, Prabhavati acted as regent for her sons, thereby increasing Gupta influence in the south. The emperor may also have made a matrimonial alliance with a dynasty in Mysore. He is almost certainly the King Chandra eulogized in the Sanskrit inscription on the iron pillar in the Qūwat al-Islām mosque in Delhi.

  • How Jesus Became ‘White”

    Though I know a bit of Christianity, it never occurred to me to question why Jesus Christ is portrayed as a White, though he was from the Middle east.

    I did some search.

    First I came up with this article in Salon.

    Is Jesus White?

    The first century Jewish writer Josephus (37-100 AD) penned the earliest non-biblical testimony of Jesus. He reportedly had access to official Roman records on which he based his information and in his work Halosis or the “Capture (of Jerusalem),” written around 72 A.D., Josephus discussed “the human form of Jesus and his wonderful works.” Unfortunately his texts have passed through Christian hands which altered them, removing offensive material. Fortunately, however, Biblical scholar Robert Eisler in a classic 1931 study of Josephus’ Testimony was able to reconstruct the unaltered testimony based on a newly-discovered Old Russian translation that preserved the original Greek text. According to Eisler’s reconstruction, the oldest non-Biblical description of Jesus read as follows:

    “At that time also there appeared a certain man of magic power … if it be meet to call him a man, [whose name is Jesus], whom [certain] Greeks call a son of [a] God, but his disciples [call] the true prophet … he was a man of simple appearance, mature age, black-skinned (melagchrous), short growth, three cubits tall, hunchbacked, prognathous (lit. ‘with a long face’ [macroprosopos]), a long nose, eyebrows meeting above the nose … with scanty [curly] hair, but having a line in the middle of the head after the fashion of the Nazaraeans, with an undeveloped beard.”

    This short, black-skinned, mature, hunchbacked Jesus with a unibrow, short curly hair and undeveloped beard bears no resemblance to the Jesus Christ taken for granted today by most of the Christian world: the tall, long haired, long bearded, white-skinned and blue eyed Son of God. Yet, this earliest textual record matches well the earliest iconographic evidence.

    The earliest visual depiction of Jesus is a painting found in 1921 on a wall of the baptismal chamber of the house-church at Dura Europos, Syria and dated around 235 A.D. The Jesus that is “Healing the Paralytic Man” (Mark 2:1-12) is short and dark-skinned with a small curly afro – see below.

    The race and appearance of Jesus have been discussed on a number of grounds since early Christianity, although the New Testament includes no description of the physical appearance of Jesus before his death and its narrative is generally indifferent to racial appearances.[1]

    Despite the lack of direct biblical or historical references, from the second century, various theories about the race of Jesus were advanced and debated.[2][3] By the Middle Ages a number of documents, generally of unknown or questionable origin, had been composed and were circulating with details of the appearance of Jesus. Now these documents are mostly considered forgeries.[4][5][6] While many people have a fixed mental image of Jesus, drawn from his artistic depictions, these images often conform to stereotypes which are not grounded in any serious research on the historical Jesus, but are based on second or third hand interpretations of spurious sources.[7]

    By the 19th century theories that Jesus was European, and in particular Aryan, were developed, as well as theories that he was of black African descent. However, as in other cases of the assignment of race to biblical individuals, these claims have been mostly subjective, based on cultural stereotypes and societal trends rather than on scientific analysis.[8] For two millennia a wide range of artistic depictions of Jesus have appeared, often influenced by cultural settings, political circumstances and theological contexts.[9][10] Beyond being Jewish, there is no general scholarly agreement on the ethnicity of Jesus.[11]

  • Israel Spies With Birds, US Site Mocks Sudan Pakistan

    Sudan recently complained that Israel was spying by a Vulture.

    Israel denied it saying that it was only studying the Immigration pattern of Birds.

    While this debate rages on ,http://www.faithfreedom.org/articles/satire/it-it-a-plane-is-it-a-bird-no-its-an-israeli-spy   mocks at the Islamic countries at their paranoia .

    Judge yourself who is right.

    ‘The avian discovery was made in Kereinek, a town in the Darfur region of western Sudan, Israeli media have reported.

    Sudanese officials are said to have concluded that the bird was a secret agent after discovering it was fitted with GPS and solar-powered equipment capable of broadcasting images via satellite, according to Haaretz newspaper, which cited an Egyptian website, El Balad.

    The vulture also had a tag attached to its leg with “Israel Nature Service” and “Hebrew University, Jerusalem”, leading to accusations that it was on an Israeli surveillance mission.

    The reports follow allegations by Sudan that Israel carried out the bombing of a munitions depot near the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, in October, after jamming the country’s radar defences.

    Israel has made no comment on the raid, which left two people dead. The arms depot was said to be supplying weapons to the Palestinian militant group Hamas in Gaza.

    Onto the Mocking part.

    ”The Israelis were alerted to the fate of their “flying super-spy” when “all of a sudden it stopped flying and started travelling on the ground”. No doubt the “I-spy masters” of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority ground their teeth in frustration at the thwarting of their “evil plans”.

    Okay, enough with the satire – for the moment.

    Earlier this year (2012) was this story: An “article in the Turkish national daily Haberturk was serious. A European bee-eater, (Merops apiaster) was found dead in a field. Its leg had a metal ring stamped with the words “Israel Tel Aviv”. One of its nostrils was suspiciously large. Turkish Authorities reckoned it was evidence that electronic surveillance equipment had been stuffed inside. For some Turks, it all added up to Israeli espionage.”

    These reminded me of the story last year (2011) when a Griffon-vulture was found (similarly equipped and tagged to the 2012 vulture) in Saudi Arabia and which resulted in similar stories in the Muslim press in Saudi and elsewhere. The Saudi newspaper al-Weeam said residents of the area in which the bird was caught called the tracking paraphernalia “evidence of a Zionist plot.” (shock,horror).

    Then, also in 2010, there was the “sharm el-shark” as it was known in the U.K. press. In Egypt the fact that it attacked in a tourist area was enough to sparkpress rumours that it had been trained by Mossad (shock, horror) for that very purpose! It too had GPS gear attached which the Egyptians thought was a “directing device” – with which Mossad could “steer” the shark to attack (non-Israeli) tourists (“Left a bit Levi, right a bit, BITE!”)

    In July 2008, the “Palestinian” press e.g. Al-Ayyam and Al-Hayat Al-Jadida,reported that Israel was “using poison resistant super-rats to drive Arab families out of their homes in the Old City of Jerusalem.” These rats were so enormous that they were scaring all the Arabs’ cats away and (presumably) had been trained to only afflict Muslims and not the many Jews who also live in the area.

    Then we have the “Great Squirrel Nutkin Spy Conspiracy” in 2007. Iran captured 14 “spying squirrels”. The stories vary a bit and the Iranians can’t decide who actually trained them – but I bet Mossad is amongst their list of suspects, along with the “great satan” and “little satan” of course (perm any number you choose!). I do wonder if the Iranians had watched too many of Hanna-Barbera’s “Secret Squirrel” cartoons on satellite TV before making this stunning discovery and deduction.

    In the previous millenium (just proving that Muslim paranoia isn’t a recent development):

    According to Pakistani websites, it was the CIA and RAW that caused the devastating floods in 2010. This “proves” that the Americans have control not of such irrelevancies as birds and sharks, but of the forces of naturethemselves.

    In this instance I am forced to wonder whether some of the cloud formations spotted during the monsoon spelled “CIA” to the over-heated (despite the deluge) Muslim minds.

    It goes without saying (but I’ll say it nevertheless) that the idea that birds, squirrels, sharks and rodents could be used as spies is paranoic at the least and quite possibly verges on the insane and the idea that anyone can control the weather is insane – especially since we can’t even predict it with accuracy (in changeable weather) more than 24 hours ahead.

    But since it is a full moon tonight (as I write this) I will be lunatic enough to entertain (I choose my words carefully here) the idea that it’s all true and that Mossad is recruiting from the animal kingdom…

    You’ve really got to hand it to Mossad and the “Zionist plotters”.

    Not only do they use HUMINT (human intelligence sources) and ELINT (Electronic intelligence sources), they are now using ANINT (Animal intelligence sources).

    According to the Arabs, Mossad have trained birds, fish (the shark) and mammals (rats, according to Hamas last year and squirrels, Iran) for “espionage”.

    Various vultures, pelicans and even small birds (e.g. bee eaters) all out-fitted and trained by Mossad’s BIT (Bird Intelligence Team) are obviously flying all over Arab and other Muslim lands collecting all sorts of pictorial and other data. Who needs multi-million dollar (or Shekel) spy-satellites when you can have hundreds (as admitted by Mossad – it’s purported to be Hebrew university and the Israeli Nature Service saying this, but they’re Mossad fronts obviously) of much cheep-er “platforms” to do the job.

    Fish, working for by Israel’s FSB (Fish Sedition Board) are not only being used to attack Egypt’s tourist industry, but (undoubtedly) will be trained in future for a range of other economic espionage jobs – such as leading fish schools out of Muslim fishing areas and straight into Israeli nets, thereby depriving good Muslims of needed protein and simultaneously reducing the cost of living for the Zionists.’

    Dueling clips of a purported UFO hovering over Dome of the Rock, an Islamic shrine, on Jerusalem‘s Temple Mount, have created an online ruckus since surfacing online.

    Not surprisingly, AOL is reporting on the blogosphere’s ongoing debate over the legitimacy of the videos, which show round, bright objects hovering over the landmark’s iconic dome before rocketing upwards. The videos, which include audio of the inspired reactions of spectators, were reportedly shot over the weekend.
