  • Manu Meditated Malayamarutha Near Madagascar?

I have, through my articles, been able to reconstruct, albeit in a limited way,Indian ancient History which has been obliterated.

Many misconceived notions have been cleared, like the Aryan Invasion theory, Tamil is antagonistic to Sanatana Dharam, Sanatana Dharma is about 5000 years  old,Ramayana and Mahabharata were just stories and legends,Indians were barbarians with no scientific temper,India was insulated from the world,Ancient civilizations rose in Egypt,Babylon…..

This I have been able to unearth with the help of information available in web from sources whose ancestors, have spread misinformation.

Namely, Astrodating, Etymology, Geology, Carbon dating of events,,cultural similarities, infrared dating of Fossils.

I had recently written an article on Lord Rama’s war with the Atlantis people .

While researching for the material to support my view, I had come across information about the Malaya Mountain, Malayamarutha.

Malayamarutha is often mentioned in the Ramayana and repeatedly in Tamil Literature.

Tamil is so obsessive with Malaya Mountain, even the Gentle breeze is named after it, Malaya Marutham.

This wind is recorded to have emanated from the south.

This breeze is soft, gentle and invigorating.

There is a Raaga, Muscial Note, by the name Malayamarutha.

It is one of the Janyaragas in Carnatic Music, which is highly mathematical.

Janya Ragas are Carnatic music ragas derived from the fundamental set of 72 ragas called Melakarta ragas, by the permutation and combination of the various ascending and descending notes. The process of deriving janya ragas from the parent melakartas is complex and leads to an open mathematical possibility of around thirty thousand ragas. Although limited by the necessity of the existence of individual swaroopas (unique identities) for the janya ragas, a list is never comprehensive or exhaustive.’

Why this obsession with a Mountain?

I recalled an article I had written on Satyavrata Manu, ancestor of Lord Rama, having lived in the South and migrated to Ayodhya, because of a Great Flood and whose son Ikshvaku founded the Ikshvaku Dynasty.

And this Satyavrata Manu is associated with the Great Flood and he is reported to have meditated in a Mountain.

‘The Sanskrit-language Bhagavata Purana (dated 500 BCE-1000 CE) describes its protagonist Manu (aka Satyavrata) as the Lord of Dravida (South India). TheMatsya Purana (dated 250–500 CE) also begins with Manu practicing tapas on Mount Malaya of South India. Manimeghalai (dated around 6th century CE) mentions that the ancient Chola port city of Kavirippumpattinam (present-day Puhar) was destroyed by a flood. It states that this flood was sent by the Hindu deity Indra, because the king forgot to celebrate a festival dedicated to him’

Shraddhadeva was the king of the Dravida Kingdom during the epoch of the Matsya Purana. According to the Matsya Purana, Matsya, the avatar of Vishnu, first appeared as a shaphari (a small carp) to Shraddhadeva while he washed his hands in a river flowing down theMalaya Mountains.

The little fish asked the king to save him, and out of compassion, he put it in a water jar. It kept growing bigger and bigger, until the king first put it in a bigger pitcher, and then deposited it in a well. When the well also proved insufficient for the ever-growing fish, the King placed it in a tank (reservoir), that was two yojanas (16 miles) in height above the surface and on land, as much in length, and a yojana (8 miles) in breadth.[5][6] As it grew further, the king had to put the fish in a river, and when even the river proved insufficient, he placed it in the ocean, after which it nearly filled the vast expanse of the great ocean.

It was then that Vishnu, revealing himself, informed the king of an all-destructive deluge which would be coming very soon. The king built a huge boat which housed his family, saptarishi, nine types of seeds, and animals to repopulate the earth, after the deluge would end and the oceans and seas would recede. At the time of deluge, Vishnu appeared as a horned fish and Shesha appeared as a rope, with which the king fastened the boat to horn of the fish.

The boat was perched after the deluge on the top of the Malaya Mountains. After the deluge, Manu’s family and the seven sages repopulated the earth.’

According to historians, Kuadam was very close to Tiruchendur. Abraham Pandithar says that Greeks in those days named it as Periplus port’ ( Wiki)

The Tami land extended from Kapadapuram to Then Madurai.( South Madurai, which is differnet from the Madurai now in Tamil Nadu , where Meenakshi Amman Temple is.

The distance is about 7460Kms and the western side the land stretched to Africa!( 700 Katham)

In this area there were 49 Tamil Kingdoms, called Ezheezh Nadukal( 7*7 countries)…

Note the Kumari Mountain , indicated by an arrow in the First Image, and it starts from what is the presently known as the Western Ghats and extends to Madagascar, where the Mascarene plateau lay in ancient times.

Since Satyavrata Manu was meditating on t a higher plane because of the great flood, the Mascarene plateau   fits.

As He is reported to have meditated in Malayamarutha, I am of the opinion that the Malayamarutha lay somewhere in  Mascarene plateau..

The Mascarene Plateau is a submarine plateau in the Indian Ocean, north and east of Madagascar. The plateau extends approximately 2,000 km (1,200 mi), from the Seychelles in the north to Réunion in the south. The plateau covers an area of over 115,000 km2 (44,000 sq mi) of shallow water, with depths ranging from 8–150 m (30–490 ft), plunging to 4,000 m (13,000 ft) to the abyssal plain at its edges. It is the largest undersea plateau in the Indian Ocean…

Mascarene Plateau with Mountains.jpg Mascare Plateau marked by a Circle and two other ellipical circles are Kumari Malai(Mountain and 90Degree Mountain).Image credit.Jayasreesaranathans Blog

The northern part of the Mascarene plateau includes the Seychelles and Agaléga Islands. The southern part of the Mascarene plateau includes the Mascarene Islands, Saya de Malha Bank, Nazareth Bank, Soudan Banks, and Hawkins Bank. The Mascarene Islands are the mountainous islands of Mauritius, Réunion, Rodrigues, and the Cargados Carajos Shoals..

The Indian subcontinent was at one time next to the east coast of the Seychelles, but seafloor spreading has moved the landmass to its current position, where it has collided and fused with the continent of Asia.

The northern part of the Mascarene plateau is formed of granite, and is a fragment of the ancient supercontinent of Gondwana. The granite is topped with deposits of limestoneand basalt. The basalt deposits in the Seychelles are from the Deccan Traps eruption, which occurred in the central part of the Indian subcontinent 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous period.

And this lies close to what was Thenmadurai.

Location of Thenmadurai.bmp Location of Thenmadurai.Image credit,Jayasreesaranathans blog

As the Malayamarutahm is recorded to have come from the south of Thenmadurai(South Madurai which is different from the Madurai in Tamil Nadu now), Satyavrata Manu , this could have been the Mountain range where Satyavrata Manu meditated .

  • India In Antarctic Circle Daksha Underground Tunnel Antarctica?

While searching for information on the spread of Sanatana Dharma throughout the world , I come cross, at times, very strange information that seems to contradict our Knowledge of things and they even looked idiotic.

But when one searches with an open mind, the answer is startling and is borne by facts.

    Shiva dances..gif
    Shiva Tandava.

When I searched on the Color of Rama and Krishna, I landed with the information that the Ancestor of Rama was From the South.

He was Satyavrata Manu and it is backed by Bhgavatham ,Tamil Classics and geographical evidence of the great Flood in the south of India.

On Agastya Crossing to South, It has been validated by Star Canopus.

Thiruvannmlai is about 3 Million Years old.

Tirupati is 2100 million years old.

Jwalapurm in Kurnool, India is about 100, 000 years old.

Shiva Parvati marriage was about  40 Million Years ago, Proved by Tectonic Plate movements.

You may refer for more under Hinduism in this site.

Now I have received information from a  source in the US, who does want to be identified, about an Underground Tunnel in Antarctic,

    with Map Co ordinates.

    Underground Tunnel in Antarctic?jpg
    Underground Tunnel in Antarctic?

    The Tunnel entrance is visible.

I am aware that people would call this  glacier or an Ice formation.

But there are some facts worth mentioning.

India was near the Antarctic Circle about 255 Million Years ago.

Geological survey reveals that the continents move constantly. Early on there was one large continent called Pangaea which later on split into two parts; Northern Pangaea (North America and Eurasia) commonly called as Laurasia and  Southern Pangaea (South America, Africa, India , Antarctica, and Australia ) which was called as Gondwanaland. After Pangaea split, Laurasia drifted northward and Gondwanaland drifted southward with the Indian sub-continent closer to the South Pole. The presence of divergent plate boundaries found in the middle of oceans or in the middle of a continent is proof of the existence of the large continent Pangaea. As the fragmented land masses moved away from each other sea water filled up the split and the continents as we know them now were formed. Ice age in Indian subcontinent and North America could be explained if these continents had been inside the polar or circumpolar zone; this would have happened when the Indian sub-continent was part of Gondwanaland. The Indian Sub-Continent was very near the South Pole and was inside the present Antarctic Circle. Refer to the following websites.

http://www.thehindu.com/news/states/tamil-nadu/article2094202.ece  Indian Subcontinent was near South Pole.

    http://www.atlas.keystone.edu/research/geology/03HistoricalGeology.htm

It is confirmed that the Indian Sub-continent was close to the South Pole during the Late Permian period which was around 255 MYA ago. There are many Rig Vedic hymns that describe the duration of day and night in the Polar regions. There are also hymns to describe the Polar dawn and other conditions that are unique to the Polar region. A question to explore would be, are the hymns referring to the period when Indian sub-continent was inside the Antarctic Circle or has there been a time in history when the Indian sub-continent was indeed inside the Arctic circle? Could it also be that the Indian sub-continent was inside the Antarctic Circle but there had been a 180 Deg flip in the poles with Antarctica situated at/near the North Pole? Science tells us that a 180 Deg flip in the poles is quite possible. Please refer  the following websites.

    http://istp.gsfc.nasa.gov/earthmag/reversal.htm

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/11/111130171105.htm

    http://www.crawford2000.co.uk/mag.htm

In summary, the Rig Vedic hymns which we will examine tomorrow might be referring to a remote point in history when the Indian sub-continent had been inside/near the Polar Regions. If we take it to be referring to the time when the Indian sub-continent was near the South Pole, we get the date for the Vedas in millions of years (Permian period – 255 MYA).  Either the Vedic Hymns are eye witness accounts of Polar conditions or geological studies were advanced enough during the Vedic period to have been able to explore the Polar Regions.

I shall be writing on the Polar Days and Nights as described in the Vedas.

    Now to the tunnel.

1.Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, South India is about 3 Billion years old.

2.Tirupati, also in South India is 2100 Million years old.

3.Ancient Tamil site of advanced civilisation dated a Million Years is in Chennai, also in south.

4.Jwalapuram in Kurnool , which is about a Million years old is in Andhra Pradesh, also in the South Of India.

5.Vaiwasvatha Manu(Satyavrata Manu) was from the South.

6.Daksha Prajapathi is from the south.

7.Shiva was worshiped in the South much before the Vedas period.

8.While one can find the Patala Loka reference in Hinduism tallying with the presence of Mayan , Incas Civilisations and artifacts found in the US, Central Americas support the Patala Loka of Hinduism( Please read my post on these), there is a dearth of materail on this issue.

9.Refernces are found scattered in the Puranas about the three Patala Lokas.

10.Arctic being one of hte Patalas, can Antarctic be the other?

11.Considering the worship of Shiva in the  South preceding the Vedic Texts, the presence of temples and Hills in the South relating to the older periods, The presence of Agastya in the South, Tamil worship of Shiva and Subrahmanyaaas Murugan as predominat deities, probable that the Antarctic could have been the place for Daksha( though this contradicts Himalaya Dakshaand Dakshyayani(Sati) where he hid from Veerabhadra, who was created by Shiva to destroy Dasha Yagnya?

I have been forced to form a theory on these lines as there are more than One Daksha(he changes in every Manavatara) and there is a Temple in Kerala, Southern Tip of India where Daksha Yagnya is celebrated even today (Please read my Post on this)

  • 11000 Years Old Tamil Port Poompuhar Confirms Manu Migration

The more one digs deeper into  Indian /Tamil History, I no longer consider them as Legends or Mythologies as there is enought evidence on the ground in India and abroad to warrant this conclusion, one is amazed as to how Sanatana Dharma and Tamil were intertwined and how accurate are the Hindu Puranas.

    Wharf At Poompuhar.Image.gif
    Wharf At Poompuhar, Tamil Nadu

An old port  Poompuhar, mentioned in early Tamil Classics, especially in detail in the Silappadikaram, has been found and it reveals a Man made Port of 11000 Years!

Poompuhar was a bustling port of the Chera Kings of then Tamil Nadu and was a centre of Tamil Culture where A festival of Indra was celebrated annually,

It was called Indra Vizha, The Festival of Indra. more as Thanks giving to the God of Thunder Indra for granting Rains.

This Poompuhar was als a Ship Building Yard where the Sultans of Constantinople had their Ships built, observes Ptolemy

Please read my Post Naval Department of Tamils Ancient India.

Now the Ikshvaku Dysaty, of which Lord Rama is a descendant, lists the Kings of the Dynasty.

I am providing a Link to my article at the end of this Post.

    Sixty kings preceded Lord Rama.

In Hindu Puranas the Full Life of an individual is 120 years(I am not, now taking into account the legend of Treta Yuga where Human beings lived longer).

The father of Ikshvaku, Satyavrata Manu, also called Vaivasthava Manu, migrated from the South to Aydhya and his son Ikshvaku founded the Ikshvaku Dynasty.

Manu left because of a Tsunami.

The city of Poompuhar which is dated now as being 11000 years old was deluged by a Tsunami.

This is echoed in the great flood that devoured the Atlantis/

Please read my post on Gondwana.

This proves that the expression of Great Ocean Surge, Kadal Kol, was not a figment of Tamil Poets and Sanskrit’s imagination as the Poompuhar evidence and the mention of Satyavrata Manu having migrated to Ayodhya.

A difference of about 2200 years for such a huge time scale may be attributed to my wrong calculation or the dating of Poompuhar may have tolerance in dates..

    Lord Rama’s Lineage.Ikshvaku Dynasty.

    • Ikshwaku – Manu’s successor was the founder of the Ikshvaku dynasty. Ikshwakufathered 101 children of whom most illustrious were Vikukshi, Nimi and Danda. Ikshvaku’s 50 children were protector of northern countries while 48 were prince of southern countries. Nimi was ruler of Mithila region and started the kingdom of Janaka. After death of Ikshwaku, his son Sasada succeeded him. According to Jain sources, Ikshvaku was Rishab Deva.
    • Sasada – Named Vikuksi at birth, he was called Sasada after eating Hare-meat meant for a rite himself (Sasada means Hare-eater). Though abandoned by Ikshvaku, he became the successor due to Vasistha. Vikuksi had 500 sons who guarded northern regions led by Sakuni and 58 sons who guarded southern regions led by Visati. The Brahma Purana says Sasada’s son was Kakutstha and Kakutstha’s son was Anenas. However, the Vishnu Purana says Sasada’s son was Puranjaya (Paranjaya in Shrimad Bhagavatham) and Puranjaya’s son was Anenas. From Puranjaya / Kakutstha and Anenas the lineage is as follows:
    • Puranjaya (Vishnu Purana and Shrimad Bhagavatham / Kakutstha (Brahma Purana)
    • Anenas
    • Prithu
    • Viswagaswa, rendered Virasva and Vistarasva by Brahmapurana.
    • Ardra
    • Yuvanaswa
    • Srasvata – He founded the city of Srasvati.
    • Vrihadaswa (also spelled Brihad-Ashwa).
    • Kuvalayswa – He defeated demon Asura Dhundu. His sons (21000 in number) perished except three – Dridhaswa, Chadraswa and Kapliswa. Haryyaswa, the eldest son of these three succeeded to the throne.
    • Haryyaswa
    • Nikumbha
    • Sanhatswa – rendered Samhatasva in Brahma Purana. He had 2 sons, Akrasava and Krisasva, and a daughter Haimavati whose son was Prasenajit. The Brahma Purana proceeds with the genealogy tables from Prasenajit with the same names as in Vishnu Purana and Shrimad Bhagavatam below. However, since Prasenajit is the son of Haimavati in Brahma Purana, this would make the line to have descended from Haimavati (a female) as per Brahma Purana.
    • Krisaswa – The Vishnu Purana and Shrimad Bhagavatam says Prasenajit was Krisasva’s son.
    • Prasenajit married Gauri. As per Brahmapurana, he had 2 sons Yuvanaswa and Mandhatri. However, as per SB and Vishnu Purana, Mandhatri was Yuvanaswa’s son.
    • Yuvanaswa (he was second Yuvanaswa)- According to Vishnu Puarana, Yuvanaswa had no children, so the sages, took pity on Yuvanaswa and instituted a Yagya to help him procure progeny. One night, Yuvanaswa feeling thirsty and not wanting to disturb anybody, went in search of water. In darkness, he accidentally drank the consecrated water. In the morning the sages found the vessel containing the consecrated water to be empty and pronounced that a mighty son will be born to the queen who has drunk this water. Then Yuvanaswa told the sages about he having drunk the water. Accordingly, Yuvanaswa conceived a child in his belly. Upon birth of a male child, he was worried as to who would nurse the child. Lord Indra appeared and said – Mam Dhyasti i.e. I would be his nurse, and hence the boy was named Mandhatri.
    • Mandhatri – He married Chaitarathi / Bindumati, daughter of Sasabindu. He is supposed to be a mighty monarch who conquered seven continent and bought them under his dominion. A verse in Vishnu Purna is translated as “From the rising to the going down of the sun, all that is irradiated by his light, is the laand of Mandhatri* As per Brahmapurana he had 2 sons, Purukutsa and Mucukunda; and Trasdasya was the son of Purukutsa. From Purukuta the line follows in the same manner as SB and Vishnu Purana. However, SB and Vishnu Purana provide additional names between Mandhatri and Purukutsa as below:
    • Ambrisha (son of Yuvanaswa)
    • Yuvanaswa (third)
    • Purukutsa and Harita
    • Trasadasya (Son of Purukutsa and Narmada). According to Brahmapurana Narmada was Trasadasyu’s wife. One Kurusravana is described as the son of Trasadasyu in Rigveda 10.33 and hence Keith supposes that the Kurus existed in the Rg-Veda.[6] It remains a controversy as to whether Vedic literature knows of an enmity between the Kurus and the Pancalas, which we know of in the Mahabharata. Trasadasyu’s son was Sambuta.
    • Sambhuta
    • Anaranya – He was supposedly slain by Ravana.
    • Prishadaswa
    • Haryyaswa
    • Sumanas
    • Tridhanwan. In Brahmapurana, Tridhanwan is posited as the son of Sambuta, and the names in between Sambhuta and Tridhanwan as provided by SB and Vishnupurana are absent.
    • Trayyaruna
    • Satyavarta (also known as Trishanku). He was banished by his father Trayaruna and went to live with Svapakas. He killed Vasistha‘s cow. Brahmpurana says Vishwamitra made him ascend to heaven with his physical body.
    • Harishchandra. Also called Traishankava as the son of Trisanku.
    • Rohitaswa, also called Rohita.
    • Harita (Second Harita)
    • Chunchu, also spelled Chanchu, Cancu, Chamchu, Campa. Manusmrithi mentions Chenchu who have been explored for their links with the tribe Andhras
    • Vijaya
    • Ruruka
    • Vrika
    • Bahu (also known as Bathuka) – His kingdom was overrun by neighbouring tribe of Haihayas and Talajangha. He was expelled to the jungle with his queens where Sage Aurva gave them shelter. As per Brahmapurana, Bahu was not very righteous. One of his queens, Yadavi, gave birth to Sagara together with poison (gara).
    • Sagara – he had 6001 sons. Sagara recaptured his father’s kingdom and defeated the tribes of Haiheyas, Talajhanghas, Sakas, Pahlavas and Paradas. He shaved off the hair of Sakas halfway, that of Yavanas and Kambhojas totally, the Paradas had to wear their hair loose, and the Pahlavas had to wear moustaches. All of the following had to give up recitation; and were deprieved of their Kshatriya-hood and their dharma: Sakas, Kambhojas, Yavanas, Paradas, Konisarpas (Kalasarpas), Mahishakas, Cholas and Keralas. Sagara performed Ashvamedha and the horse disappeared near the coast of the South-eastern ocean. There they found Sage Kapila resting. According to the Vishnu Purana, Sagara’s sons killed Kapila. According to the Brahma Purana, Kapila is an avatara of Vishnu and burnt up Sagara’s sons and spared 4 of them—Barhiketu, Suketu, Dharmaratha, Panchananda. Then Kapila blessed Sagara, who went on to perform 100 Asvamedhas and begot 60,000 sons. One of the sons, named Panchajana entered the brilliance of Narayana and became King. His son Amsumat succeeded him.
    • Ansumat – the grandson of Sagara and son of Asmanjas / Panchajana.
    • Dilīpa.
    • Bhagiratha – Bhagiratha bought the river Ganges to earth from Heaven.
    • Sruta
    • Nabhaga
    • Ambarisha
    • Sindhudwipa
    • Ayutaswa
    • Rituparna, a friend of Nala.
    • Sarvakama
    • Sudasa, supposedly a friend of Indra.
    • Saudasa (also known as Mitrasaha, Kalmshapada and Kamlasapada Saudasa).

After Saudasa, the Brahmapurana gives the descent until Raghu as follows:

    • Saudasa
    • Sarvakarman
    • Anaranya
    • Nighna
    • Anamitra and Raghu
    • Dulidaha, the son of Anamitra
    • Dilipa
    • Raghu

After Saudasa, the Vishnupurana gives the descent until Raghu as follows:

    • Saudasa
    • Asmaka
    • Mulaka –  (also derogatorily called Narikavacha (one who uses ladies for armour) since he was surrounded and concealed by women when his enemies came searching for him). [In present times Mulaka is (1) name of a jangam tribe in Andhra Pradesh that claims to be Kapus / Balijas; and (2) alternate name used by Mulakanadu Brahmins ]
    • Dasratha (he was not the father of Rama)
    • Viswasaha
    • Khatwanga or Dileepa
    • Dirghabahu
    • Raghu

After Raghu, all the puranas give the descent as follows:

    • Aja, son of Raghu.
    • Dasaratha – He was father of Rama.
    • Rama
  • Gondswana Proves How Sanatana Dharma Spread

I posted an article on how the Varaha, the Boar incarnation of Lord Vishnu, fits the first Mammals of the Triassic period .

I also postulated that taking into account,

1.Places/ events mentioned in the Ithihasa, Ramayana and Mahabharata check out with archeological finds,

2.The three great Floods mentioned in the Sanskrit and Tamil literature.

3.There are references to Lord Rama’s ancestor Satyavrata Manu having migrated from the South to North to found Ikshvaku Dynasty in Ayodhya,

4.That Shiva and Ganesa left for the Arctic through the Middle east,Europe, Africa, Americas .

5.A Group from the Shiva and Ganesa lineage moved in from the Arctic through Russia and Khyber into India and eventually resettled in the Saraswati Valley.

6.Tamil Literature speaks of events even before Lord Rama and mention these events along with the Tamil Kings in the sunken lands off  Kanyakumari, extending upto what is now Australia.

7.The remains of Sanatana Culture are found everywhere around the world.

I checked up geology and the Formation of Continents.

Indian Puranas mention seven Islands ans d seven oceans.

Jambuu Dweepa; Plaksha Dweepa; Saalmalii Dweepa; Kusa Dweepa; Krouncha Dweepa; Saaka Dweepa and Pushkara Dweepa.

There are three views on the Lost continents.

There was Atlantis, described by Plato,

Another is that there was a super continent linking Africa and Australia,Lemuria

“About 1875 the scientists Haeckel and Blanford suggested that the distribution of lemurs and their relatives could best be explained by a former land bridge connecting Africa, Madagascar, and the East Indies. P. L. Sclater proposed the name Lemuria for this land, and the word came into general use among geologists. But more recent investigations show that the vanished continent of Lemuria is not necessary to explain the distribution of lemurs, and in fact fails to do so. Lemuria was conceived to be part of a much larger continent, Gondwanaland, which was supposed to have reached three-quarters of the way around the Southern Hemisphere, with a gap in the Pacific. Scientifically, these continents have little to do with Atlantism, and even Gondwanaland is considered speculative, although it is still widely accepted.

Gondwana Super Continent which contained Lemuria .

At the end of the Jurassic Age Gondwanaland began to break up and, during the Tertiary Age approximately 20 million years ago, Antarctica completely broke away from South America. Due to its isolation, an ocean current formed around the continent, fed by conductive motions caused by water masses of different temperatures, favored by cyclonic type atmospheric circulation , and influenced by the Earth’s rotation.

The breaking up of Gondwanaland, the dispersion of the various continental blocks, the drifting of the Antarctic continent towards polar latitudes and its isolation, are all relatively recent events by the scale of geological time.

The geographical situation of Antarctica, in an isolated polar position and covered with ice, is the consequence of a long and complex geological evolution, which is still taking place and which, at least in part, should be understood and reconstructed. Up until the Jurassic Age 140 million years ago, Antarctica formed part of the supercontinent of Gondwanaland, In the Jurassic Age 140 million years ago, Antarctica formed part of the supercontinent of Gondwanaland, which also included Africa, Arabia, India, Ceylon, Australia, New Zealand and South America, and occupied temperate latitudes.

    Gondswana Continent.jpg
    Gondswana.

The descriptions found  in the Puraná about the descriptions of the Land Masses, check out.

This could explain why the Sanatana Dharma remains are found everywhere.

It was not difficult for Sanatana Dharma to spread.

By looking at the position of India in the map, one can understand how the Tsunami devoured India and how Sanatana Dharma was right in describing geographical details .
