There are a number of password vaults on the market that aim to keep your passwords secure, locked behind one single master password that can let you into all your accounts and profiles. While this is a good way to keep your information safe, you could, potentially, still be caught out by a keylogger.
But what if your accounts could only be unlocked by using a physical part of your body? The iris of your eye is unique to you, and it’s by scanning your eye that the company EyeLock aims to keep your passwords secure. Its mouse-sized device, Myris, can perform a quick eye-scan to verify your identity before letting you in.
Connecting to your computer via USB, it scans your eye at a rate of 20 frames per second, looking at over 240 points on the iris to generate a 2048-bit signature unique to each user. To get into your accounts, which are linked via an application, you need to physically scan your eye — photos and videos will not work. And, although there’s a chance you can get a false match, it’s very slim — just one in 2.25 trillion. According to EyeLock, only DNA is more accurate.
This means that you could set highly complicated passwords for your internet banking, VPNs, email, shopping websites and social networks and not have to worry about remembering them.
“Usernames and passwords will soon be a thing of the past, and EyeLock’s introduction of Myris brings us one step closer,” said EyeLock chief marketing officerAnthony Antolino. “People are required to remember dozens of passwords in an effort to secure their data, while organisations and individuals are in a constant struggle to keep their digital, social and financial transactions safe from compromise, breach and theft. Until service providers take the step to eliminate usernames and passwords, Myris enables users to set passwords as complex as they’d like and forget them once linked to the device.”
Myris will be made available globally later this year, although a definite release date and pricing are yet to be announced.
The Aarushi murder case is now in the final stages, with the prosecutor, having just finished his concluding remarks,
As I have been following the case regularly, indicating the criminality of the parents in hiding the crime, suppressing crime evidence, having the Police personnel transferred, asking the Doctors who were doing the post mortem to doctor the report and as a last resort have made use of Media by paid write-up in defense of them.
Now it transpires that the parents were not asleep in their room when their thirteen year old daughter was raped and brutally murdered, but were busy browsing the Internet.
Not content with this, they seem to be doing what ever is possible by the moneyed to sow seeds of doubt in the testimonies of the witnesses by a TV Channel proprietor coming out now saying that there was a footage of a song Playlist which confirmed that there were seven people in the Home of the Talwars while the murder was being committed.
And the CBI did not use this evidence.
The intention seems to sow suspicion in the minds of the Judges to exonerate the parents from the hideous crime on the basis of ‘Benefit of Doubt’
But what they seem to have forgotten is the fact that the CBI closed the Case earlier.
That Rajesh Talwar did not identify the Body of Hemraj.
Talwar had the door removed and painted it.
Had the Police personnel transferred.
The CBI refuted the allegation that they suppressed the TV Channel evidence by explaining that the information that the suspects(seven people) were listening in to the programme was revealed to them during the Narco Analysis and that the Analysis was discredited.
Sounds correct.
What could then have happened on the day of Murder?
What is the motive?
Possible scenarios.
1.Aarushi and Hemraj had illicit liaison , Tawars found it and in a fit of anger and murdered them both.
2.Mrs. Talwar had illicit relations with Hemraj, found in the act by Aarushi who informed her father and in the scuffle Hemraj was murdered and somehow Aarushi got in the way , got murdered .
3.Rajesh Talwar’s relation with Aarushi was not paternal ,found out by Mrs. Talwar, in the melee Mrs.Talwar murdered him with the help of Hemraj while Hemraj and Aarushi were the unintended victims,Aaarushi by and Hemraj by Talwar.
4.The girl was used for immoral purposes and was gang raped and murdered with the parent ‘s connivance.
All the these theories are preposterous.
However, as Sherlock Holmes would out it, ‘when you eliminate all the possibilities, what remains is possible though it ma appear to be improbable.
My earlier post on this, Excerpt.
The Aarushi double murder case has been bewildering from the beginning.
I have been posting on the developments as they unfolded.
I have in the last post mentioned that Rajesh Talwar’s DNA had to be checked and matched with the DNA found on Aarushi’s pillow.
This does not have come t pass.
The CBI though wanted to close due to insufficient evidence in the first attempt’ later charge sheeted the Talwars as the accused.
Now Tehelka comes with a piece questioning the decision of the CBI Court, Magistrate Court and the Supreme Court on the ground that thirteen witnesses, asked to be examined by the Talwars were not allowed to be examined.
The article also says that two explosive discoveries on the Narco tests on Krishna were found and states that it would deal with them later in the story.
But no further information on this is provided.
The main arguments that the Talwars are not guilty , apart from a syrupy wailing prose are
1.That “So: two parents with no former history of dysfunctionality or rage are accused of butchering their only child.”
So if you can be punished only if you have a history of Dysfunctionality or Rage?
2.That they have not been allowed to cross-examine 13 witnesses, when after the case is over in the first instance and in the second after a thorough examination of witnesses, some 39 of them.
If one keeps on asking for witnesses as an afterthought after the case is over , or even closed. when will a trial end?.
3.Insinuation by a Journalist ,As Avirook Sen, a journalist who has been attending the trial regularly, writing sharp reports for the Mumbai Mirror, says, “According to me, the CBI never intended to go for a trial. But when a trial was ordered, they just had to extemporise the evidence along the way. Now, with each passing day in court, they are getting more and more invested in their own story.’
4.Why there are no answers for some questions I have raised? On Feb 10,2011.
“Why don’t you answer the following questions?
Why do you communicate with your daughter through email when she is in the next room?
How was the evidence dressed up?
Why Aarushi’s cuts bore the precision of a Surgeon?
Why was the doctor asked not to report rape?
If your conscience is clean you would not be talking like this, rather you would be cooperating with the authorities as a father would.
On October 15, the CBI had told the court that dentists Rajesh and Nupur Talwar dressed up the crime scene and tried to influence a doctor who conducted the autopsy of the teenager.
two used their home computer’s Internet all through the night of the murder, indicating that they were not asleep as claimed by them.
Aarushi, 14, was found murdered at her parents’ Noida residence on May 16, 2008. The body of their domestic help Hemraj was found the next day on the terrace of the house.
The CBI claimed that the suspicion was on the Talwars as they disturbed the crime scene and destroyed evidence on Aarushi’s body.
Blood stains on the railing of staircases, lock and on the steps were found partially mopped, the CBI had said, adding that this indicated the involvement of the dentist couple in the double murder.
The Talwars also tried to influence the doctor who performed the post-mortem on Aarushi, the CBI had said. ”

Right from day one from the date of murder of Aarushi who was brutally murdered in New Delhi, the needle of suspicion has been pointing out the parents.
The father was communicating with his daughter through emails though they lived in the same house .
As the child was being murdered, she definitely have raised a hue and cry.
Yet the parents did not hear them , though they were in their bed room next door!
The body has been dragged to the top floor of the house and they did not hear any thing.
The house was locked from the inside, yet there were no signs of forced entry.
The father asked the Doctor doing the post mortem to tamper with the Report.
The investigating Officer of the case was transferred.
The parents made a show of despair ,hanks to TV Channels.
4.Who had the Investigating officer removed, the domestic helps?
5.There a whine that Narco Analysis Test results are not allowed in the court.
So…?
The amount of power one can pull through Media is disgusting.
Read the complete set of stories on Aarushi case, from my sites and elsewhere and decide for yourself whether a Father and Mother would have behaved the way the Talwars did, without answering any of the basic questions any one can sk, no legal training or Journalistic acumen is required.
Dr Alex Evilevitch and his colleagues provide the first experimental evidence of a high internal pressure of tens of atmospheres within Herpes simplex virus 1, resulting from the confined genome. NPC – nuclear pore complex (Bauer DW et al)
The study provides the first experimental evidence of high internal pressure within a virus that infects humans – a phenomenon previously only attributed to viruses that infect bacteria.
“Despite billions of years of evolution separating eukaryotic viruses and bacteriophages, the existence of an internal pressure capable of powering the ejection of DNA into a host cell has been conserved. This suggests that it is a key mechanism for viral infection across organisms and presents us with a new drug target for antiviral therapies,” said Dr Alex Evilevitch of Carnegie Mellon University, senior author of the study published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
Many viruses, whether they infect bacteria, plants or animals, are adept at packing long stretches of DNA or RNA within their nanometer-sized protein shells.
Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) contains double-stranded DNA that is 400 times longer than the radius of the viral shell it fills.
The DNA gets packaged so tightly that it bends upon itself, resulting in repulsive forces that exert tremendous energy and pressure on the virus’s outer shell. When HSV-1 infects a cell, it enters through the outer cell membrane and makes its way to the cell nucleus, where it docks in a small hole found in the nuclear membrane. That act is like a key opening a lock that allows the HSV-1 to eject its DNA into the cell nucleus.
For years, scientists hypothesized that a high internal pressure inside eukaryotic viruses like HSV-1 enabled the virus to shoot its DNA into the host cell’s nucleus. But it was impossible to measure HSV-1′s internal pressure without knowing how to release the viral DNA in a controlled, experimental setting.
All of us are fundamentally animals and are driven by Nature to propagate the Species.
In short we are a Sperm Driven Machine, looking at from the Biological perspective.
Of course we are not simply this.
But what are the Facts?
”
The sticky concoction called semen holds more than just sperm(those DNA-carrying swimmers that make a mad dash for the nearest egg). In fact, semen is a combination of sperm and fluids produced by accessory glands surrounding the penis. Its non-sperm ingredients include a mix of fructose, molecules made from fatty acids called prostaglandins, and proteins that nourish sperm and help them swim, according to the National Institutes of Health.
Additional fluids from the prostate and bulbourethral glands are slightly alkaline, or basic, reducing the acidity of any urine residue in the urethra, neutralizing the acidic environment of the vagina, and lubricating the tip of the penis for intercourse.
And turns out, what a man eats affects the quality of this semen, with a study published in 2012 in the journal Human Reproduction finding that guys who consumed more of the fat often found in fish (called omega-3s) had better-formed sperm than those who ate less of the fishy fat.
And while semen carries those critical egg fertilizers, some women are allergic to it, reacting to it with genital itching, burning and swelling. In severe cases, women may experience hives or swelling elsewhere on the body, and even difficulty breathing. A study described in 2011 at the annual meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in Philadelphia suggested a possible cure: frequent sex. –
