    There are Homas and Yagnyas sanctioned by Vedas, the scriptural authority in Hinduism.

    Though performance of both are mandatory,they are different.

    Yagnyas need not involve Fire,for example Brahma Yagnyas,whereas Homas involve Fire ,Agni.

    Homas are performed with specific purpose in mind,like personal or welfare of the society or for Rains..

    But Yagnyas are mandatory.

    They are to be performed because they ought to be.

    It is A Duty.

    Example,Tharpana,Sraddha,Brahma Yagnyas.

    The Homa involves Agni,Fire,the Primary God of Sanatana Dharma.

    Agni,as Vaisvanara transmits the Oblations to the God addressed in The Homa.(though personal God’s are mentioned in Hinduism,the core of the Vedas describe Reality as Beyond Name and Form.For details click here.

    Scientific studies have been done on the efficacy of the Materials used in Homas,like Darbha and the Homas.

    In the Sanatana Hindu Dharma, Pravargyawas a ceremony introductory to the Agnishtoma (Soma sacrifice), at which fresh milk is poured into a heated vessel called mahavira or gharma and offered to the Ashvins. The ceremony is described in details in the technical texts on proper ritual, the Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Shrautasutras.The temperature in the sun’s chromosphere is 4,320℃. As part of Pravargya (a special ball of fire), a sudden flash of temperature to the tune of 3870℃ is created in order to cleanse the environment.[citation needed] Pravargya almost matches the Sun’s temperature to cleanse the atmosphere.

    A Scientific study has the following information.

    A 4,000 year old fire ritual conducted in the remote village in Kerala in April this year has a positive impact on the atmosphere, soil and other environment effects, according to scientists who are now ready with their findings.

    The “Athirathram” ritual held on April 4— 15 at Panjal village in Thrissur district was the focus of a detailed study by a team of scientists led by Prof V P N Nampoori, former director of the International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology.

    The scientists had focused on the fire ritual’s scientific dimensions and impact on the atmosphere, soil and its micro—organisms and other potential environmental effects.

    The yagna seems to have accelerated the process of seed germination and also the microbial presence in air, water and soil in and around the region of the fire ritual is vastly diminished, according to a statement released by the Varthathe Trust, who organised the ritual.

    The team had planted three types of seeds — cowpea, green gram and Bengal gram — on all four sides of the ritual venue at varying distances. They found that the growth was better in case of pots kept closer to the fire altar.

    This effect, the study says, was more pronounced in the case of Bengal gram with growth about 2,000 times faster than in other places.

    According to Nampoori, sound is a vibration and continuous positive vibrations through chanting, accelerates the process of germination.

    “The findings would not only help dispel superstitious notions associated with Vedic rituals but also help in continuation of such tradition for the betterment of nature and the environment,” says Nampoori.

    He added that further research on the phenomenon were on which could prove that some bio—amplifier generated in the atmosphere because of the ritual, had a selective effect on Bengal gram.

    The study focused on counting bacterial colonies at three locations — within the yagnashala, 500 metres and 1.5 kilometres from the yagnasala. Microbial analysis made before, during and four days after the yagna revealed that the air in the vicinity of the yagnashala was pure and had very low count of microbe colonies.

    The research team also found that microbial activities in the soil and water around the yagnashala were remarkably less compared to normal ground.

    The “Athirathram” ritual which literally means “building up of the fireplace and performed overnight” and usually held to propagate universal peace and harmony, was first documented 35 years ago by US—based Indologist Frits Staal.

    Staal, currently Emeritus Professor of Philosophy and South and Southeast Asian Studies at the University of California, Berkeley had in 1975 organised and recorded the ritual in detail with the help of grants and donations from the Universities of Havard, Berkely and Finland”s Helsinki University.

    The research team conducted tests near the fire altars of the 1918 and 1956 Athirathram, still preserved in the backyards of Namboothiri homes, reveal that the bricks continue to be free of microbial presence.

    “It’s an indication that the effect of the ritual is long—lasting. Studies are on to find out if other positive changes on the atmosphere are transitional or permanent,” say researchers.

    An analysis conducted on the dimensions of temperature from the flames of the pravargya by Prof A K Saxena, head of photonics division, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, found that the fire ball that formed during the ritual had a particular wavelength with an unusually high intensity similar to what is observed in typical laser beams at about 3,870 degree centigrade.

    It may be possible to have stimulated emission at this wavelength (700 nm) and gain from plasma recombination. It needs to be studied further, he says.

    The members of the team of scientists’ team at the Panjal Athirathram 2011 included experts from various disciplines and included Dr Rajalakshmy Subrahmanian (Cusat), Dr Parvathi Menon (M G College, Thiruvanathapuram), Dr Maya R Nair (Pattambi Government College), Prof Saxena ( Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore) and Prof. Rao (Andhra University).

    The scientific team members were supported by Zarina (Research Scholar, CUSAT), Ramkumar (Biotechnologist), Asulabha (Biotechnologist) and a number of postgraduate, graduate and school students.

    Thanks to internet,one is able to collate information from various sources, especially from foreign authors,ehile researching the History of India.

    Hitherto,Indian history has been dated to 5114,this date being assigned to the Rig Veda.

    Researches and archeological studies have enabled one to push this date and othet dates pertaining to India.

    Arikkamedu,Adhichanallur,Mangulam, Poompuhar,Thirukkoilur and a host of other sites including the one near Chennai,which is dated about a Million years ago,prove the antiquity of Tamils and Hinduism.

    As these facts emerge,what has hitherto been assumed to be legends and stories are now being accepted as historical facts.

    For instance,Silappadikaaram,one of the Five Epics in Tamil,an ancient language of India,was dated around 300 BC.

    But recent excavation of Poompuhar off the coast of Tamil Nadu has been dated now around 11,500 years ago.

    The reference to Tamil kings found in Silappadikaaram has to be,therfore needs revision.

    The Pandya kings’dates need revision.

    1. The Sanskrit texts and Sangam literature mention that the Chera king Udiyan Chearalaathan fed both Pandava and Kaurava armies during the Mahabharata battle.
    2. Sarangadwaja,also called Makarathwaja,A Pandyan king,fathet of Madurai Meenakshi fought on the side of Pandavas in Mahabharata.
    3. And another Chera kind Palyagasalai Mudukudumi Perivazhuthi’s date need revision.
    4. His grandfather,Nedunchezhiyan is the Pandya king mentioned in Silappadikaaram.

    If the city where the action in Silappadikaaram took place,as found in Poompuhar,is now dated around 11,000 years,how can one assign 300 BC to the Grandson of the king in Silappadikaaram,as 300BC?

    And Silappadikaaram st 600 BC?

    His date ,now assigned at 300 BC may be assigned around 11,000 years ago.

    And Sangam literature dates may also be pushed back to the same period.

    And,in the process,the lie that Tamils were against Sanatana Dharma is nailed for Peruvazhuthi issued coins with Vedic Symbols.

    The name Palyagasalai Mudukudumi Peruvazhuthi means the ‘King who performed Many Yagnyas and had sported a Tuft:

    ‘Another series of coins, all made of copper and found near Madurai, have the fish symbol on the reverse and among other symbols on the obverse, have the legend Peruvaluthi written in the Tamil-Brahmi script. They have been assigned a date of around 200 BCE and are considered to have been issued by the Pandyan king Peruvaluthi. These coins are represent some of the few instances where the names of Sangam kings appear in non-literary sources.

    Sangam literature mentions the importance attached to Vedic sacrifices by Tamil kings including the Pandyan Mudukudumi Peruvaludhi.

    This fact is also corroborated by the discovery of several Pandyan coins that are referred to as the Vedic sacrifice series. These coins have symbols on their obverse that depict the sacrifices, such as a horse tied to the yuba-stambha, a yagna kunta and a nandhipada’

    These are Geoglpyhs,lines etched in Rocks.

    These lines in Peru are in groups and each group seems to represent something.

    Mysterious carvings

    ……. locked between the Andes Mountains and the coast, more than a thousand geoglyphs dot the landscape. People from an ancient civilization created the shapes between 200 B.C. and A.D. 600, by removing the reddish rocks on the surface of the desert, revealing the white-hued earth beneath.

    The Strange Shapes include animals such as camelids, dogs and monkeys, as well as fanciful supernatural beings, scenes of decapitation and trophy heads, and geometric designs such as trapezoids, lines and triangles. Though the mysterious shapes gained widespread attention in the 1920s, when plane passengers saw them from above, people who lived there likely saw them even earlier while walking the hilltops in the Nazca plateau.

    Archaeologists have long puzzled over the purpose of the Nazca Lines. Some researchers have argued the Nazca Lines form a labyrinth.Others have said the lines and figures matched up with the constellations in the sky or with subterranean water routes. And still others have said the Nazca Lines were part of an ancient pilgrimage route.

    Two cultures?

    In recent years, researchers at Yamagata University in Japan have uncovered 100 geoglpyhs, as well as shards of broken ceramics at the intersection points of some of the lines.

    To understand exactly how all of these images fit together, Masato Sakai of Yamagata University and his colleagues analyzed the location, style and method of construction for some of these newfound geoglpyhs. Sakai found that about four different styles of geoglyphs tended to be clustered together along different routes leading to a vast Pre -Incan complex in Peru known as Cahuachi. Archaeological evidence, such as several temples and pyramids, as well as a trove of severed heads, suggests that Cahuachi was once a religious center where pilgrims brought offerings. ‘

    There are also interpretations that this could be Alien Message or an Alien Mark.

    However,let us look at some more information as found by referring to Ancient texts in Sanskrit and Tamil.( I am unable to check other languages as I am not familiar with them. Scholars in the other languages may contribute with source)

    In the Sundara Kanda of Ramayana by Valmiki,Sugriva instructs his army to search for the kidnapped Sita in the area ‘Where Shiva’s Trishul Mark is Found’

    The hero of this Epic is Lord Rama and his date according to Puranas and Ramayana is more than a Million years ago. But Rama’s date is assigned at 5114 BC,based on Astronomical details found in the Ramayana. This seeming contradiction, I have explained in Rama’s death precedes Krisha’s by 200 years.

    During the Great Flood mentioned in Sanskrit and Tamil Sangam Classics,the forefather and the First Man Satyavrata Manu’s descendent migrated from the south of Vindhyas to North of India and founded the Ikshvahu Dynasty.

    At the same time, Shiva and his eldest son Ganesha moved westwards towards Middle east Africa,America before reaching Arctic where the Rig Veda was composed.

    Subrahmanya,called Murugan in Tamil, moved eastward towards Australia and the evidence of Murugan is found in the Polynesian territories.

    And Sage Agastya is found in New Zealand.

    Shiva and Ganesha presence is found in the western regions away from India,in almost all countries.

    Shiva worship in the south of India seems to have preceded His worship in the Vedas.

    The Akkadian culture which was the forerunner of Sumerians had their links to the Tamils.

    Rama,His father Dasaratha,his brother Bharatha are found in the Sumerian Kings List.

    Rama entered into a Treaty with Horus.

    The presence of Sanatana Dharma is also found in Americas.

    Chihuahua district in Mexico derives its name from the root Shivava, named after a native American;Tamaulipas-Tamralipta;Nayarit-Nairitti..

    There is naturallly formed Vishnu Temple in Colorado US.

    There is also a Quadrilateral Shiva Temple.

    California was called Kapila Aranya,the forest of Sage Kapila who founded the Sankhya System of philosophy

    Nearby is the Ash Island,where Kapila turned the sons od Sagara into ashes.

    Then we have Hanuman’s temple in Honduras.

    And His son Makratdwaja’s in Mexico.

    There is still more.

    Such being the case,I thought,why can’t the mark called as Nazca Lines be of Indian origin?

    Can it be interpreted by the ancient languages/scripts of India?

    Here I was struck with four issues.

    1. The images of Nazca Lines is Group.

    2.The meaning will change if the angle in which it is seen.

    3.Multiple lines have to be segregated so that they form out to provide meaning.

    4.I have to find a suitable script and key to decipher the Nazca Lines.

    I have tried out with  Sanskrit Brahmi and Tamil Brahmi.

    I have reproduced the Nazca Lines and the Tamil Brahmi script as Images.

    Then came the Sub Atomic Particles.

    And now effort is on to find the Bosun Particle in LHC at Berne.

    While these experiments are on way,the theories of Quantum in respect of Atoms and Universe is gaining currency with experiments proving Quantum on Particle Physics and the Existence and Time Scale of the Universe.

    Quantum has proved that contrary to accepted theory,An Atom is present in many places at the same Time.

    And the Atoms change when One perceives them.

    That is you change the Object when you perceive it.

    The Observer changes the Observed.

    The Observed also changes the Observer.

    In the light of these revolutionary Concepts,I checked what the Vedas say on this?

    Also what Viseshika System of Hinduism assert.

    Contrary to popular thinking Hinduism,Hinduism does not consist of only Vedas,Puranas ,Smritis ,Ramayana,Mahabharata.

    Hinduism consists of Six Systems.

    Sankhya,

    Yoga,

    Nyaya,

    Vaiseshika,

    Purva Mimamsa and

    Uttara Mimamsa(Upanishads)

    Each has a speciality.

    Hinduism is Collective Wisdom and it does not adhere to a rigid system and asserts only that system is perfect.

    Ri Veda,the earliest Literature of Mankind states,

    ‘Bhadram Karnobobhi Srunuyma Deva,

    Let Noble Thoughts reach my ears from everywhere.

    Atoms,according to Vaiseshikas,is the minutest particle and it can be divided further.

    It is called Paramanu.

    This Paramanu is of two types.

    One that is Eternal and hence can not be destroyed.

    Another type is the Paramanu that gets destroyed periodically.

    And the second type,combines with other Paramanus to form objects that are Perceived.

    The first type of Paramanu,which is Eternal .

    ‘The atoms of earth, water, fire, and air are eternal because an atom is partless and cannot be produced or destroyed. The common elements of earth, water, fire, and air, however, are noneternal because they are produced by combinations of atoms and therefore can disintegrate or change. The existence of atoms is proved by inference — not by perception — in the following way. All the composite objects of the world are made up of parts. In separating the parts of a composite object, one passes from the larger to the smaller, and then from the smaller to the smallest part. But when one comes to the smallest part that cannot be further divided in any way, then the process of separation has to stop’

    So the Paramanu of the Observable Universe is subject to apparent Destruction.
    However,the other type,which is Eternal remains unaffected.

    These Eternal Paramanus belong to,
    Akasa,Space,
    Time and Direction,
    Mind and Soul.
    The Paramanus of these three remain undisturbed at the Time of Dissolution, Pralaya.
    When reemergence of the Universe takes place the dissolved Paramanus create the Observable Universe.

    So, when the Universe is Dissolved,though some Atoms,in the parlance of Modern Physics,are destroyed,some remain.
