  • Narada Mountain In Russia Urals Narodnaya

I had posted earlier that the Rig Veda was compiled in the Arctic,There was a Kingdom of Women in Russia and Tripura, destroyed by Lord Shiva was in Russia.

    Now evidence has surfaced that

“Twenty of the spiral-shaped settlements, believed to be the original home of the Aryan people, have been identified, and there are about 50 more suspected sites. They all lie buried in a region more than 640km long near Russia’s border with Kazakhstan. The cities are thought to have been built 3500-4000 years ago, soon after the Great Pyramid in Egypt. They are about the same size as several of the city states of ancient Greece, which started to come into being in Crete at about the same time.

    Plan of Arkaim.jpg
Plan of Arkaim, Russia, Shiva’s City? Image credit.http://revelationarchives.blogspot.in/2012/02/arkaim-ancient-aryan-city-and-russian.html

The shape of each of the cities, which are mainly in the Chelyabinsk district, resembles an ammonite fossil, divided into segments with a spiral street plan. The settlements, which would each have housed about 2000 people — the same as an ancient Greek city such as Mycenae — are all surrounded by a ditch and have a square in the middle.

The first city, known as Arkaim, was discovered in 1989, soon after the soviet authorities allowed non-military aerial photography for the first time.

The Russians knew about these settlements for about 20 years.

This information was revealed by historian Bettany Hughes on the BBC program “Tracking the Aryans”.

And there is a Mountain named after the Hindu Sage, Narada.

According to Bulgarian linguist Vladimir Georgiev, geographical names are the most important source for determining how a group of people acquire their ethnicity. This can originate through a process of self-identification or it could be the result of outside identification.

Georgiev says the most stable – or longstanding – names are that of rivers. “But in order to preserve the names it is necessary to maintain the continuity of the population, transmitting these names from generation to generation. Otherwise, new people may come and give it their own name,” he says.

Georgiev illustrates that in 1927 a detachment of geologists “discovered” the highest mountain in the Urals. The mountain was called Narada by the local population, and interestingly the ancient Indian epics describe the great sage Narada as living in the north. But since it was the 10thanniversary of the October Revolution, the geologists decided to mark the event and rename the mountain as Narodnoy – or People. And that’s what it is now called in all geographic references and on all maps.”

    And,

In the meanwhile I read a Book where the author, a Scholar in Sanskrit, Tatyana Elizarenkova in her Book ‘Language and Style of the Vedic Rsis’ states that the Rig Veda was written in Russia!

This is based on the language construction, Grammar and the affinity between Sanskrit and Russian.

Based on a Study of Indo-European Languages and cross checking with other scholars of the West who knew Sanskrit she seemed to have arrived at the conclusion.” Rig Veda composed in Russia

  • Pillars Of Hercules Tribute To Krishna ?

Pillars Of Hercules Tribute To Krishna ?

The Pillars of Hercules (Latin: Columnae Herculis, Greek: Ἡράκλειοι Στῆλαι, Arabic: أعمدة هرقل‎, Spanish: Columnas de Hércules) was the phrase that was applied in Antiquity to the promontories that flank the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. The northern Pillar is the Rock of Gibraltar (now part of the British overseas territory of Gibraltar). A corresponding North African peak not being predominant, the identity of the southern Pillar has been disputed through history,[1] with the two most likely candidates being Monte Hacho inCeuta and Jebel Musa in Morocco.

Lord Rama’s Empire extended throughout the world.

    The landmass then called Gondwana.

“At the time of Atlantis and Rama, the Mediterranean was a large and fertile valley. This ancient civilization, pre-dating dynastic Egypt, was known as the Osirian Civilization. The Nile river came out of Africa, as it does today, and was called the River Stix. However, instead of flowing into the Mediterranean Sea at the Nile Delta in northern Egypt, it continued into the valley, and then turned westward to flow in the deepest part of the Mediterranean Valley where it created a large lake and then flowed out between Malta and Sicily, and south of Sardinia into the Atlantic at Gibraltar (the Pillars of Hercules). When Atlantis was destroyed in a cataclysmic upheaval, this cataclysmic change in the Atlantic slowly flooded the Mediterranean Basin, destroying the Osirian’s great cities and forcing them to move to higher ground. This theory helps explain the strange megalithic remains found throughout the Mediterranean

    Pillars Of Hercules.jpg
    Pillars Of Hercules.

Both Greeks and Romans habitually tried to understand the religions of India by trying to fit them as far as possible into Greco-Roman categories. Deities in particular were spoken of, not in Indian but in Greek terms and called by Greek names. Thus Shiva was identified as ‘Dionysos’, and Hare Krishna as ‘ Hercules’.

In a passage of the Rig Veda, Vac is praised as a divine being. Vac is omnipotent, moves amongst divine beings, and carries the great gods, Mitra, Varuna, Indra and Agni, within itself. The doctrine of Vac teaches that “all gods live from Vac, also all demi-gods, animals and people. Vac is the eternal being, it is the first-born of the eternal law, mother of the Vedas and navel of immortality.” Vedic Aryans attached such great importance to the spoken word that one who could not correctly pronounce Sanskrit was called barbar (meaning stammering). ‘

Hence one should not be too sure of the incredibility of the view of those who conceive that there is continuity between the parts about the Pillars of Hercules and the parts about India, and that in this way the ocean is one. As further evidence in favor of this they quote the case of elephants, a species occurring in each of these extreme regions, suggesting that the common characteristic of these extremes is explained by their continuity. Also those mathematicians who try to calculate the size of the earth’s circumference arrive at the figure only that the earth’s mass is spherical, but also that as compared with the stars it is not of great size. 400,000 stades. This indicates not only that the earth’s mass is spherical, but also that as compared with the stars it is not of great size…

Most pre-Ptolemaic Greek geographers did accept that Africa was bounded on all sides by the sea, except where it joined Asia. Ptolemy, however, supposed that not far below the Horn of Africa, the continent trended to the east, eventually joining the Chinese mainland and making of the Indian Ocean a landlocked sea. He may have been influenced in this by the passage from De Caelo, where Aristotle    suggests that the presence of elephants in both Asia and Africa might indicate that the two continents   were contiguous. Ptolemy compounded his error by postulating the existence of a huge “Southern Continent,” a Terra Australis, to the south of Africa. This imaginary continent did not finally disappear from European maps until the early 18th century.

Megasthanes took the legend of Krishna to Greece and had it incorporated  in Greek Legends.

See the excerpts towards the close of the Post.

    Similarities between Krishna and Hercules.

Krishna’s Killing of Kalinga is similar to Hercules with Hydra.

    Balarama Is Hercules.

There is also a view that Balaram is Hercules.

““The Hercules who penetrated so far, the Indians tell us, was a native of their country. He is particularly worshipped by the Suraseni (Shurasena), who have two great cities, Methora (Mathura) and Cleisoborus (Surapura), and the navigable river Jobares (Yamuna), passes through their territories. This Hercules, as Megasthenes asserts, and the Indians themselves assure us, uses the same habit with the Theban Hercules. Many male children, but only one daughter was born to him in India, for he married many women. The daughter’s name was Pandaea, and the land where she was born, and over which Heracles placed her as ruler, was named Pandaea after her.”

It is probable that the symbol of Pillar of Hercules was erected in honor of Lord Krishna even if Balarama was Hercules, Krishna being the most popular of the to brothers.

  • Thirty Million Manuscripts 700 Poetic Meters Amazing Sanskrit

With Thirty Million  Manuscripts existing even today,Sanskrit is the oldest Language of the world and the Rig Veda , which is in Sanskrit ,is the oldest literature of the world.

There is a view that the Hitti Language is older than Sanskrit.

    Not so.

I shall be posting on this  an article.

    Some interesting Facts about Sanskrit.

Encrypting the value of pi in a shloka. – There is a numbering system in Sanskrit called the Katapayadi system. This system ascribes a number to every letter or alphabet in the script, something similar to the ASCII system in computer science. When the letter in the following shloka is replaced with their corresponding number from the Katapayadi Sankhya, we get thevalue of pi accurate to 31 digits.

Sanskrit is the “mother” of the most languages of North India and even the Romani language of the Romani people (“Gypsies”). To be precise, the Indo-Aryan languages evolved from Middle Indo-Aryan languages, which in turn evolved from Old Indo-Aryan = Sanskrit). Moreover, even the Dravidian languages (Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and to quite some extent Tamil), which do not have their origins in Sanskrit have borrowed such a large proportion of their vocabulary from Sanskrit that it could well be called their foster-mother.

There is a Sanskrit epaper ,even to-day,since 1970,published out of Mysore.

The Sanskrit’s sphere of influence extended all the way to South-East Asia (what is now Laos, Cambodia, etc.), without any invasion or use of military power originating from India.

Though the importance of Sanskrit has diminished significantly in the last few centuries, it is far from a dead language: Sanskrit literature continues to thrive and flourish, with novels, short stories, essays and epic poems continuing to be written, and its authors picking up several literary awards (including the Jnanpith award in 2006).

It is the official language (along with Hindi) of the state of Uttarakhand.

The most extreme example are the Vedas, which apart from being among the world’s oldest texts might well be the ones with the largest interval of time between their composition and first being written. The oldest layers are dated around 1500 BCE by modern scholars, and they were not set down in writing until probably the Gupta period (5th century or so), which makes some 2000 years.

Despite the above fact (initial reluctance to writing), the proliferation of works continued, with the result that there are an estimated over 30 million Sanskrit manuscripts today with a conservative estimate of 7 million in India itself. This means there are orders of magnitude more manuscripts in Sanskrit than in Latin and Greek put together.

These manuscripts are on a very diverse range of topics, everything from sacred texts to literary works (poetry, drama, satires, histories, epics, novels) to scientific works (mathematics, linguistics, logic, botany, chemistry, medicine,) to entire works on things as seemingly obscure as elephant-raising or even “A Method to Grow Crooked Bamboos for Palanquin Beams”.

Poetry in Sanskrit is extraordinarily diverse, with over 100 common meters, and books of prosody listing over 600 metres. Its literature includes works of dazzling complexity, including works that tell several stories at once using puns, works that contain words several lines long, brilliant examples of constrained writing, …

Research has shown that the phonetics of this language has roots in various energy points of the body and reading, speaking or reciting Sanskrit stimulates these points and raises the energy levels, whereby resistance against illnesses, relaxation to mind and reduction of stress are achieved.

Sanskrit is the only language, which uses all the nerves of the tongue. By its pronunciation, energy points in the body are activated that causes the blood circulation to improve. This, coupled with the enhanced brain functioning and higher energy levels, ensures better health. Blood Pressure, diabetes, cholesterol etc. are controlled. ‘The epic, Ramakien, is based on the Ramayana. The city, Ayutthaya, is named after Ayodhya, the birthplace of Rama. Numerous rituals derived from Brahminism are preserved in rituals, such as use of holy strings and pouring of water from conch shells. Furthermore, Hindu deities are worshipped by many Thais alongside Buddhism, such as the famous Erawan Shrine, and statues of Ganesh, Indra, and Shiva, as well as numerous symbols relating to Hindu deities are found, e.g., Garuda, a symbol of the monarchy. The famous Hindu rituals of the Giant Swing and the Triyampavai-Tripavai ceremony depict a legend about how the god created the world.

The élite, and the royal household, often employ Brahmans to mark funerals and state ceremonies such as the Royal Ploughing Ceremony to ensure a good harvest. The importance of Hinduism cannot be denied, even though much of the rituals has been combined with Buddhism.’

    Rajaguru

Sri Siridhornkul arranged an interview with Phara Rajaguru Vamadevamuni, the Royal Priest of the Royal Household of Thailand, for Saturday evening. We met at Rajaguru’s temple, called Devasthana Bosth Brahmana, located in the Sao Ching Cha area of Bangkok. Rajaguru’s lineage of brahmins had been in Thailand so long, and intermarried with the Thai community, that he is completely Thai in appearance. When I first met him, I could just not take my eyes off his charming and royal face. His pony tail hair added to his divine looks. Rajaguru, a graceful, divine and soft-spoken person, discoursed at length in a down-to-earth manner about the challenges faced by the Hindu community in Thailand. [See sidebar opposite for the interview.]

One person I spoke with later shared an incident which illustrated the Rajaguru’s influence. Two years back, I was told, a company started using Lord Hanuman in an advertisement for an anti-itching medicine. This person complained to the company, and to other Hindu organizations, but to no avail. He then brought the matter to the Rajaguru, who in turn spoke to the police. The police requested the company to discontinue the advertisement, which they did.

Hurditya observed, “The role of Rajaguru today is to conduct pujas for the Royal Family. I do not think that what he does has much impact on the youth. And then only one person cannot revive the five million population of Bangkok. I see that he wants to revive Hinduism, but it is a hard job. If it continues the way it is [with the youth not being interested], Hinduism is going to disappear from this country in the future, for both Thais and Indians.”

  • Rama’s Empire Covered The World,A Study

I have been pursuing the spread of Sanatana Dharma throughout the world,by checking up,

    Rama's Empire.jpg
    Rama’s World Empire

    1.Archeological findings.

2.Astronomical dating of events in Rama’s Life and of the events that had taken place in what are Foreign lands to India now, mentioned in the Ramayana.

    3.The Mahabharata connection.

4.The Vedic practices followed by almost all countries in some form or the other by civilisations which predate the recorded literature of these lands.

5.Cultural similarity, in many cases , identity.

6.The strong influence of Sanskrit over almost all the languages of the world .

7.Another ancient language of the world Tamil, which had also spread throughout the world, in some form or other.

I have been posting articles on the subject, probably about 60, on the presence of Hinduism ,Sanatana Dharma throughout the world.

    One central point struck me.

More than the Puranas, Mahabharata and other Sanatana Dharma inputs, Ramayana seems to have found a place every where.

If one checks the directions given by Sugreeva to his army in the search for Sita, one would find references to even  Peru, among others!

    From Polynesia to Americas.

It is present in Mayan,Aztec,Babylonian, Assyrian,Greek,Roman,Latin American Incas,Russia, China, you find a country in the Map,if you dig deep, you shall find the Ramayana connection.

The obvious inference is that Rama’s Empire must have spread throughout the world, including the Atlantis

This is not so preposterous if one knows Geology , the origin of Continents and the Continental shift.

To add strength to my view is the fact that there are quite a few civilisations of which we practically know very little, yet we find references to Ramayana and Vedas.

Major known civilizations apart there were some other civilisations.

Sumerians, the Olmecs, the pre-Egyptians and the Megalithics

There are theories that suggest Rama’s empire might have ended by a Nuclear Bomb.

“The strong radiation emanating from fossil corpses, at Mohenjo-Daro, forced the Indian government to close the site. Would have Rama’s Empire been destroyed by a nuke bomb? ( I shall be posting on this in detail)

And the current dating of Rama not withstanding, Rama’s Empire might have existed about 10,000 years ago!

“At Mahabalipuram in southern India, a legend says that a city was submerged 10,000 years ago. However, just before the tsunami of 26th December 2004, the waters receded very far. And the inhabitants of the town have seen the emergence of the ruins of a temple and of a stone house, as well as an elephant and two giant lions carved in granite. Two years earlier, Graham Hancock had set up an underwater expedition revealing the presence of masonry and frame walls, dated from 6,000 to 10,000 years ago. As in the legend …

The Tamil Epics, specifically the Silapadikaram speaks of Rama in detail.

Though the Silapadikaram is dated 5th or the 6th century CE, there is strong evidence it might have been earlier.

Taking all this into account and the fact that the Super Continent of Gondwana is real, it is probable and possible that Rama’s Empire extended throughout the world.
