Legend has it that Lord Krishna gave the Darshan of Rama to Jambhavan during His scuffle with Jambhavan.
Only then did jambhavan realized Lord Krishna and Rama were the same and gave his daughter jambhavati to Krishna in marriage.
It may be noted in scientific interest that Jambhavan belonged to a species that was dwindling during Krishna’ period, Dwapara Yuga.
Vanara were yet another species, not monkeys as most of us believe
Intriguing because of their consistency and though they may be appear to contradict each other, on critical examination they are in agreement.
