What started as a near discard Cricketer fixing matches in IPL, the affair is turning out to be a can of worms,
Cricketer,Bookies,Parties, Parties, Dons, even Murder.
new facts have emerged that the match fixing is not limited to India nIPL.
It seems to have infected the SriLanka Premier League (SLPL),Bangladesh Premier League.
As I noted in the earlier posts, the reticence of the ICC and the stubborn refusal of the BBCI refusing to quit, though he has appointed a committee to go into the Match fixing(the judges appointed seem to raise doubts) and the initial quiet acquiescence of the powerful BCCI Board and the Political bigwigs indicate that the IPL Spot fixing wide ramification.
To understand this, a look at the BCCI power struggle will be in order.
It all started with I.S.Bindra and Jagmohan Dalmiya joining hands to capture BCCI power.
IS Bindra became Secretary and Dalmiya the President of BCCI.
Dalmiya became the President of ICC.
Bindra felt betrayed as the deal between him and Dalmiya was that Bindra get ICC President ship.
Anti Dalmiya group was formed.
Bindra brought in the Maharashtra Political heavy weight as a candidate for BCCI President-ship.
Bindra defeated Shard Pawar by casting his’casting vote’ after disqualifying rival factions in Maharashtra.
Pawar formed his own group with N.Srnivasaan, Lalith Modi I.S.Bindra and came to power.
Srinivasan rose from being a Treasurer to Presidency of BCCI.
Pawar supported Srinivasan when he got CSK Farchise stating that ‘ there was no conflict of interest and it was a conscious decision!”
Srinivasan went after Lalith Modi, the then IPL Commissioner, fixed him.
Srinivasan,Sharad Power and Dalmiya formed the Troika.
After IPL imbroglio of Lalith Modi, Pawar has been with Srinivasan till now.
Now Pawa,r Modi and Shasahank Manohar are ina separate Group.( Shashank Manohar was the interim IPL Commissioner after Lalith Modi affair)
What happened in between Sinivasan and Pawar in the meanwhile?
Why has Pawar come out against Srinivasna now?
Answer is IPL Money .

Dhaka: The International Cricket Council is probing allegations of match-fixing in Bangladeshi cricket with former national captain Mohammad Ashraful among those being questioned, officials said on Thursday.
ICC anti-corruption inspectors were investigating allegations of wrongdoing during a match in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), a spokesman for the Bangladesh Cricket Board said.
“The allegations involve a match between Dhaka Gladiators and Chittagong Kings in the second edition of the BPL,” spokesman Jalal Yunus said.
The allegations are the latest to hit Bangladeshi cricket including the BPL, which was launched in 2012 in emulation of neighbouring India’s lucrative Twenty20 tournament.”
n Mumbai, his MP daughter Supriya Sule reacted similarly to reports appearing in a section of the media that the family held 16.22 per cent shares in City Corporation, a Pune-based construction company, which unsuccessfully bid for the IPL Pune team in March.
The Congress, however, maintained a neutral stance saying Mr. Pawar was a “valuable ally” but deflected questions on the allegations against him.
Speaking to journalists here, Mr. Pawar said, “Neither I nor any of my family members are directly or indirectly involved in any IPL team.”
He said the board of City Corporation (in which he and his family have a 16.22 per cent shareholding) had taken a unanimous decision not to be involved in the IPL bidding process. “The Managing Director, Mr. A. Deshpande was eager to be associated with the bidding process so the board allowed him to do so in his individual capacity. He was allowed to use the name of City Corporation.”
“In [the Board’s] resolution, it was made absolutely clear that there is no direct or indirect involvement of any shareholder other then Mr. Deshpande personally,” he said. The City Corporation made a failed bid for the Pune IPL team which was won by the Sahara Group.
