Whom to Blame?
An Indian man who was upset over his daughter’s lifestyle beheaded her with a sword and then paraded her head through his village before finally surrendering to police, according to the Associated Press.
Ogad Singh’s 20-year-old daughter had been living at home in the Rajasthani village of Dungarji after separating from her husband about two years ago.
Police Superintendent Umesh Ojha said Singh grew angry with the fact that his daughter was having affairs with multiple men, and became enraged when she eloped with one of them about two weeks ago
Singh reportedly forced her to move back home on Sunday, and cut off her head today (Monday) with a sword.
That’s about as disturbing as it gets. Let’s hope this dad gets what’s coming to him.
