One fails to understand how setting up a Regional Bench shall lead to disintegration of SC.Cases are mounting and people need to spend a lot of money on Travel and staying expenses to Delhi.Idea is to administer Justice, not antediluvian concept of the present CJI, whether it be declaring assets of Judges or setting up of Regional benches.let the Legislature decide.

Balakrishnan today said he did not favour the “disintegration” of the apex court.
“I am not in favor of the disintegration of the Supreme Court. Personally I feel the Supreme Court cannot be in any other part of India. This is the highest court of the land. It is in the capital city of the land,” he said.
The CJI said, “It is a final court and we should maintain the integrity of the Supreme Court.”
