Considering the background of the case,the fact that father and daughter have been communicating with each other through email tough they were living in the same house,that they could not hear a thing at the time of murder, the fact that the couple had locked themselves in their bed room, the relation ship of the Aarushi family with their friend’s family and the way they went about orchestrating media support, the needle of suspicion is definitely points out the Talwars.
A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)’s designated court in Ghaziabad has given its go-ahead to the agency to conduct narco test on Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar, parents of teenager Aarushi who was found murdered in her Noida flat on May 16, 2008.
However, no particular date has been fixed up for the said tests.
In its order released on Tuesday, the designated court ordered the narco tests to be conducted at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) at Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat.
The court also ordered a complete medical examination of Dr. Rajesh Talwar by a medical practitioner to ascertain his health condition as fit before the tests were conducted.
The Talwars’s lawyers in an argument before the court on Monday had stated that Rajesh Talwar suffered from Asthma since childhood and undergoing the narco-test could be detrimental to his health.
Quoting Tuesday’s order, the court said that CBI was given the go ahead since the scientific tests were not related to any accused and under section 160 and 161 of CrPC, the investigating officer is free to conduct the tests of any person whoever he thinks has knowledge about the facts and circumstances related to the case.
