  • Nazis , Swastika, Ashtami and 88.

We know that the Swastika of India has been reversed by Nazis.

That they ended up creating Holocaust and were responsible for World War II could be because of this reversal of Swastika(which is considered very auspicious).

Please read ‘Sakthi and Saktha by Sir John Woodroffe  which deals with Tantra Sastra.

‘Swastik (Swastika) in Hinduism and India – Swastik (Swastika) has been a symbol of good luck from time immemorial in Indian (Hindu) homes. Swastik (Swastika) can be seen drawn at doors, walls and many auspicious places in Hindu homes to signify good luck and well being. Swastik (Swastika) is also found even more prominently around many festivals and coming from a hindu family. …

Meaning of Swastik (Swastika) in Hinduism religion – Swastik, even if overall a symbol of good luck and well being, might mean different things in different sects/region/aspects of Hindu religion. I’ll go over all of the below…

    1) Swastik (Swastika) is associated with the symbolism of Lord Vishnu – 108 diffrent symbols are associated with Lord Vishnu and Swastik is one of them. Swastik (Swastika) can be seen drawn on the right palm of Lord Vishnu or sometimes held in hand or held or drawn in Hinduism Symbols Swastik Swastika Meaning Philosophysome other form around Lord Vishnu.

    2) Swastik (Swastika) as a symbol of Brahma (one of theTrinity in Hinduism) – One interesting thing about Swastika is that if it’s viewed from above then it looks as if its pointing in all directions simultaneously! This coincides with the four “all seeing” faces of Brahma and therefore at times Swastik might be associated with the symbolism for Brahma. ..

    3) Swastik (Swastika) as a symbol for Surya (Sun god) – This sort of follows from the previous points in many ways. Sun is sometimes associated with various symbolisms used for Lord Vishnu and Swastik can be sometimes used as a symbolism for Surya (sun god) too! Also, since the top-down Swastik (Swastika) has this peculiar multi-directional (or direction-less depending on how you look at it) characteristic, it’s again associated with the mid-day Sun’s rays falling in all directions simultaneously. So, as you may observe, this association is pretty strong from both religious and nature worship point of view and even more so in the ancient times when nature worship was indeed at it’s pinnacle.

No 8 in Hinduism is misunderstood to be inauspicious.

Ashtami is a day Hindu‘s avoid initiating anything new.

In fact Ashtami is the day on which the Parayanaas or recitation of Vedas,Lalitha Sahastrama(Ashtamyaam,Navamyaam, Pourna Amavaasyam-Laliths Sahasranam Pala Sruthi) are recommended.

Durashtami signifies triumph of Good over evil.

A Thithi when Lord Krishna was born can never be inauspicious, notwithstanding convoluted explanations of some.

In fact I checked with a number of scholars who are unable to quote any authoritative source , instead they say ‘elders say’.

As for as I am concerned this is just non sense.

    Consider this.

There are Ashta Dik Balakas(those who rule the Eight Directions)

    There are Ashta Vasus.

In Chamaka Prasna we pray’Ashtavigum Sathichchame’

There are Ashtama Siddhis( Eight unique Powers granted in the path to Realization).

Nazis seem to have caught on no 8 and on this read on.

Weiss, who has been researching right-wing clothing and symbols for 10 years, is one of the authors of a new brochure titled “Das Versteckspiel” (“Hide and Seek”). The publication, which is aimed at teachers, social workers and youth group leaders, is designed to raise awareness of right-wing codes, which are often displayed at football games. “We want the soccer teams and the major fan clubs to be able to recognize the codes,” Weiss told SPIEGEL.

    Secret Codes ‘Everywhere’

The brochure, which is published by a Berlin-based anti-racism group, Agentur für Soziale Perspektiven, lists 150 codes that are used by right-wing extremists, including certain clothing labels such as Thor Steinar and letter and number combinations. According to Weiss, the number 14 is a reference to the so-called “14 Words,” a phrase coined by the American white separatist David Lane (“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children“). The meaning behind “88” — often found in conjunction with 14 — is slightly more complicated. Here, the number eight stands for the eighth letter of the alphabet, forming “HH” — an abbreviation for “Heil Hitler,” a phrase which is banned in Germany. Similarly, the number 28 signifies “BH,” standing for “Blood and Honour,” a far-right network that was banned in Germany in 2000.

The secret code numbers can be found “everywhere,” says Weiss, including on license plates, tattoos and on signs at football games. “There are fans who travel 400 kilometers (250 miles) to a game just to hold up the four numbers that form 1488,” he says.

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Germany’s domestic intelligence agency, estimated that in 2009 — the most recent year for which figures are available — there were 195 far-right organizations in the country with around 26,000 members. The agency can shut down Kameradschaften, gangs or brotherhoods which are deemed violent. But many other groups in the neo-Nazi scene — such as rock bands with suggestive lyrics or clothing companies with coded symbols — often fly under the legal radar, provided they don’t openly display symbols like swastikas or explicitly support Adolf Hitler or his party.

Indian Philosophy classifies Beings into categories-

    Bacteria,Grass/Plant Life,those that crawl,Animals,Human Beings,Highly evolved Human Beings(Devas),Asuras,Yakshaas,Kinnaras,Kimpurudas,Gandharvas,Nagas.

However each of them has Consciousness, but the ability to identify Consciousness is less pronounced in them than human beings.

Discriminating powers in their own realm of  operations is as good or as bad as that of Human beings.

The difference between the beings is one of degree and not of kind.

The ability to interact with each other is limited because of their realm of Existence in Time  and Space.

Please read my blog on ‘Time-a non-linear theory.

In the final analysis every thing in the world is Attributeless Reality which appears to have names and forms.

    Story:

The Nazis were sentimental enthusiasts who were really fond of animals and liked the idea that dogs were intelligent and could communicate with people,” Bondeson told AOL Weird news.

Under trainer Margarethe Schmitt’s direction, the institute trained dogs such as Rolf the Airedale terrier, who was said to be able to discuss religion, contemplate complex mathematics and communicate with humans by tapping out an alphabet code using his paw.

Another dog, Kurwenal, supposedly cracked jokes like a comedian and was a symbol of the educated canines of Germany.

But Hitler’s presumable pick of the litter was a pooch named Don, who apparently barked “Mein Fuhrer” when asked who Adolf Hitler was…..

The “Wooffan SS” experiment was uncovered by Dr. Jan Bondeson, a senior lecturer at Cardiff University.

“There were some very strange experiments going on in wartimeGermany with regard to the dog-human communication,” Bondeson told the Daily Telegraph.

“Hitler was himself interested in the prospect of using educated dogs in the war effort, and he advised representatives of the German army to study their usefulness in the field,” he continued.

According to the report, one of the dogs speculated about religion, learned foreign languages and wrote poetry.

The dog school was based in Leutenburg and was led by headmistress Margarethe Schmitt. The school continued throughout World War II….

This appeared to be borne out in 1910 when Don the Speaking Dog came to fame. Asked his name by a journalist who visited him at his home in a village near Hamburg, the dog apparently barked a gruff ‘Don’ in reply.

When asked ‘What do you have?’ he replied ‘hunger’ (the same word in German as in English). And when pressed on what he would like to eat, he demanded ‘kuchen’ (cakes).

Don soon became an international celebrity, earning a fortune for his owner as he appeared in music halls and variety theatres across the world.

During seasons in New York, he outshone all other acts on the bill, including The Man With the seventeen-foot beard and two tap-dancing midgets.

One sceptical animal psychologist captured one of Don’s performances using an early recording device. Editing out the questions from Don’s owner since they might give some clue as to his answers, he played it to people who had never heard Don ‘speak’ before.

At first these uninitiated listeners could make out only two of 16 words, finding it difficult to distinguish his ‘hunger’ from his ‘haben’ (German for ‘have’), but then Don flabbergasted them all.

During a show in Germany, a vicar had objected that a talking dog was an abomination of God’s will, at which point Don unexpectedly exclaimed ‘Hallelujah’.

  • About SEALs who Killed Osama.

For SEAL’s Training images and how much are they paid please Blogs under US/Terrorism

There are 2,500 Seals in total, and they take their name from the environments in which they are trained to work – sea, air and land. But it is their highly specialised training to operate in water that they are best known for.

Their missions can be enormously varied in nature, involving combat, anti-terrorism and hostage rescues.

These guys are America’s thoroughbreds, says Don Shipley, from Virginia, who spent two decades in the Navy as a Seal.

“They’re the finest guys America has. Your average guy walking down the street just doesn’t have it.

“The guys that become Seals have gifted eyesight, above average intelligence, and are genetically built to withstand a lot of punishment, being pounded a lot. Those are the guys that are qualified to get in but the guys that ultimately come out are thoroughbreds, they’re racehorses.”

I never thought about dropping out”

Stew Smith, former Seal on the gruelling training

It is often described as the toughest training available to any special forces anywhere in the world. The drop-out rate is 80-85%.

Stew Smith, a Seal for eight years, now runs fitness training courses in Maryland for people who are thinking of joining up.

He says the first six months of Seal training, known as Basic Underwater Demolition (Buds) is the toughest. It includes one period which lasts a continuous 120 hours, and involves swimming, running, obstacle courses, scuba diving and navigation.

The current Buds training course has already lost 190 recruits out of 245, and is only three weeks in, he says.

“I never thought about dropping out. People ask me why not, and I say that you have to go there in a mindset of competing, not just surviving.

    Seal Team Six (ST6)

    • Elite force of Seals, based near Virginia Beach
    • Selected from all the units, to carry out the most demanding missions
    • Usually have five years of experience already
    • The unit belongs to the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) which is run at a cost of more than $1bn a year
    • Involved in Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan in recent years
    • Existence shrouded in mystery
    • They reportedly train around the clock and can spend 300 days a year away from home

“If you’re running your first marathon, your goal is just to finish the thing, you’re in a survival mode. But when you’re stretching out before, you look across and see a Kenyan who is trying to drop a minute off his best time.

“There is a different mindset. For me, every day in training was a competition.”

After Buds, you are officially a Seal and assigned to a team but you need to have another 12 months of training with your new colleagues before you are deployed, says Mr Smith.

He believes what makes Seals special is their versatility.

“Also, having a strong confidence with the boat, and a relationship with the Navy, we have a way of respecting Mother Nature because we realise that when you’re out there in the middle of the ocean, you’re just a speck.”

This familiarity with the vagaries of the weather teaches Seals to always have a Plan B, he says. “There’s a saying in the Seals that two is one and one is nothing.”

Navy SealSeal training is gruelling, and many recruits drop out

The origins of the Seals can be traced to World War II, and its predecessors like the Naval Combat Demolition Unit, which was involved in the invasion of North Africa in 1942.

Their formation came out of a $100m (£61m) package by President John F Kennedy to strengthen the US special forces capability.

They were later involved in Vietnam, Grenada and in Panama, where four Seals were killed as they tried to prevent leader Manuel Noriega escaping by destroying his jet and boat.

The episode was also renowned for an incident a few days later, in which loud rock music was played all day and night to force him out of his refuge in Panama City.

In more recent years, the Seals have been heavily involved in missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

But their role in the death of Osama Bin Laden writes another chapter in their history.

The Navy was an easy choice for Wasdin at age 20, when he had no college degree and no money to afford one. Breaking from his abusive father and rough-and-tumble upbringing, Wasdin found that his steely skin meshed well with the demanding requirements of the Navy. Through boot camp and the Navy’s rigorous search-and-rescue training program, Wasdin proved his military prowess, a status confirmed when the Navy tapped him for the elite Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training.

Pope says Vatican helped Jews during Holocaust

Some members of the Jewish community boycotted the visit

Pope Benedict XVI has defended the Vatican against accusations of indifference towards the Nazis’ annihilation of Europe’s Jews in WWII.
On a landmark visit to Rome’s main synagogue, the Pope said the Vatican helped Jews and “provided assistance, often in a hidden and discreet way”.
The pontiff responded after an Italian Jewish leader spoke of the painful “silence” of wartime Pope Pius XII.
It comes amid Jewish anger at Benedict’s moves to beatify Pius.
