- 58% of respondents in Kota detach emotions from sex
- Wife-swapping is rampant in Asansol in West Bengal
- Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh is obsessed about watching partners undress
- Salem is the place where partners fake headaches the most to put off sex
- Respondents in Kottayam (9%) have used sex enhancers during intercourse
- 11 per cent of Ratlam (again!) respondents have done threesomes and 14% are okay with homosexuality even if it involves one’s spouse.

Couple of Points.
We seem to be obsessed with Sex.
By getting this information, which I am not sure is reliable as the details of the methodology of the Survey is not known and the fact that people do not divulge their true responses,what social cause is to be served?
Or the individual benefited?
Probably this information might help the perverts to justify their acts of depravity.
Sex is neither a sin nor is it sacred,it is just a basic instinct that Nature has in built in us to propagate the Species.
That’s all.

Though I agree that Sexual perversions and other than normal sexual behavior exists, I am not sure about the veracity of the Study.

But really, just because it’s printed on paper do we need to believe that the town of Asansol, a few hours outside Kolkata, is THE place to go if you want to get into a bit of wife-swapping? Or that Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh (as opposed to anywhere else in the country) is obsessed about watching partners undress? Or that Salem is the place where partners fake headaches the most to put off sex?

Crowd Watches Mother , Model Molested Bengal Video
We had recently a woman in Guwahati being molested as the crowd watched.
We also had a gaping crowd watching a woman being molested in Public in Patna.
Now comes the shocker of an incident where the crowd watched a Model and her mother being beaten up and molested in Chandranagore, West Bengal.
Worst id that a Ploitician was among those who were watching!
Are we becoming a Nation of insensitive people?
Would we have done this if it were our Mother,Sister,Wife or Daughter
Icing on the cake is a politician watching.

“Model-actor Aritri Bhattacharya and her mother were beaten up and molested in their home in the presence of a politician and realtors in Chandernagore on September 20. Aritri says the attacker stripped her and tried to rape her in front of the gawking crowd but she managed to fight him off.
Police ignored her complaint, although the victims had bleeding injuries. Chandernagore OC Sukhomoy Chakraborty was allegedly reluctant to file an FIR and kept asking Aritri to settle it “mutually”. Police arrested the accused only on September 24 but filed mild charges, allowing him to walk free within hours. Now, the accused are threatening an acid attack on her, says the actor.”

For the reporter it is more important to film the event than to save the girl!
Th Media’s deafening silence on the reporter’s action of Filming the incident instead of helping the victim is strange.
It is the Independent that has highlighted this issue.
If the media which is staffed by the educated(presumably)and the socially conscious is silent, how is it that Sex education is going to solve the problem, when normal education does not kindle the human quality of Compassion?

Maoists Indoctrinate Calcutta University Students
It is surprising that the Left that ruled West Bengal for a long stint was not aware that students are the first target for any Political party,especially The Communists.After all. it is their turf and they have travelled this road.
But in a Democracy one can not prevent Freedom of Expression.

Prof. Parthanath Mukherjee (Photo credit: abhikrama) Calcutta, Sept. 13: Arrested Maoist leader Avishek Mukherjee had been assigned the task of motivating Calcutta University students to join the rebel outfit, the Special Task Force (STF) has learnt after interrogating him.
Mukherjee, the secretary of the Calcutta district committee of the CPI (Maoist), was asked to indoctrinate students in the city and send “fresh faces” to Lalgarh to take part in anti-government activities in the aftermath of the setbacks the rebels had suffered in Jungle Mahal, the STF has learnt.
An STF officer said: “The CPI (Maoist) has a number of sympathisers in Jadavpur University and is now trying to spread its support base to other institutions such as Calcutta University. Mukherjee was given the task of motivating students to join the outfit.”
Mukherjee, 31, and two other CPI (Maoist) members were arrested from the Tallah area in north Calcutta on Tuesday night.
Mukherjee, who had studied international relations at Jadavpur University and is proficient in several languages, was close to slain guerrilla leader Kishan.
STF sources said the rebel outfit needed active workers after the deaths and arrests of key members. “The Maoists are targeting educational institutions because they want to motivate students to become future leaders of the outfit,” another STF officer said.
The police said Mukherjee had told them that he left Jungle Mahal three months before Kishan was gunned down in a forest near Jhargram in November last year.
“Mukherjee had spent considerable time in Lalgarh and its adjoining areas during the Maoist movement. He knew the police were after him. He used to stay in the homes of sympathisers in north Calcutta. He visited Nonadanga several times to organise demonstrations by illegal settlers during the government’s eviction drive in March-April,” an officer said.
The police said documents, mostly letters from leaders of the outfit, seized from Mukherjee had revealed that he was in regular touch with members of the CPI (Maoist) state committee.
