In a bizarre case, a Man found himself to be a woman ,..at 66!
Chromosome.
A 66-year-old man visited a doctor in Hong Kong with a swollen belly, only to find out that he is really a female with an ovarian cyst.
The condition was the result of two rare genetic disorders, the Hong Kong Medical Journal reported. Only six other cases with both genetic disorders have been reported.
The 4-foot-5-inch subject had Turner syndrome, a chromosomal abnormality that affects females and often results in infertility and short stature. He also had congenital adrenal hyperplasia, which increased male hormones and made the patient, who had a beard and a “micropenis,” appear like a man, Fox News reports.
“Were it not due to the huge ovarian cyst, his intriguing medical condition might never have been exposed,” seven doctors from two Hong Kong hospitals wrote in the study published Monday, Fox News reports.
The unnamed Vietnam-born man decided to continue “perceiving himself as having a male gender with the possible need of testosterone replacement,” according to the journal.
All of these are examples, from Facebook, of speech and images encouraging and/or making light ofviolence against women. Both the images and the language are extremely graphic and disturbing. We believe it’s important to make them available in order to illustrate the extent and impact of Facebook’s inaction on gender-based hate speech, but please choose to view them or not at your own discretion.
Many of these images passed Facebook moderation — that is, they were reported as violating Facebook standards, and Facebook declined to take them down. Some of them came down later when media stories highlighted specific pages. Some of them are still live on Facebook.
A note on redactions: we’ve redacted parts of images to protect the identities of women whose images have been used against their will. None of these images are/were redacted on Facebook.
UPDATE: Facebook is claiming that because they took down all the images in our original sample set, there is no more problem. Until Facebook recognizes that the problem is their POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, not any individual pages, we will keep posting fresh examples that are still live each day. Again, many of these have already been reported and allowed by Facebook moderation. They may come down now when we SHAME Facebook with them, but that doesn’t solve the problem. ONLY NEW FACEBOOK POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DESIGNED TO BAN GENDER-BASED HATE SPEECH will solve this problem.

In a blog post, Facebook said its “systems to identify and remove hate speech have failed to work as effectively as we would like, particularly around issues of gender-based hate.” The company said it would review how it dealt with such content, update training for its employees, increase accountability — including requiring that users use their real identities when creating content — and establish more direct lines of communication with women’s groups and other entities.

Pawar wants Srinivasan out
First it was Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar who said that “if there is even an iota of honesty in Srinivasan, he should quit at BCCI president”. The NCP demanded Srinivasan’s immediate resignation from the BCCI.
If owner involved in betting, team must be scrapped: Subrata Roy
Later, speaking to Times Now channel, Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy said that if “the owner is involved in betting, then his/her IPL team should be scrapped.”
Roy also said that so long as N Srinivasan remains the BCCI chief, the Sahara Group will not sponsor Team India.
He demanded the termination of Srinivasan’s contract with BCCI. Roy’s Sahara Group had pulled out its team Pune Warriors India from IPL after BCCI decided to encash its bank guarantee following a financial dispute between the sports body and Sahara.
“We had no choice but to quit IPL. The BCCI chief did not even bother to reply to our letter. His behaviour was arrogant and a person like Srinivasan does not deserve to run BCCI,” said Roy.
When you share information with a person, you are physically aware of his presence and ou are reticent about sharing your information.
This becomes difficult when the person whom you are sharing with happens to be your parents , relatives and even friends.
You are not sure how the divulging of the information will affect you.
Now this block exists even among friends!
Now I find that there few lasting friendships, but only ‘hi how are you”(there are exceptions).
So you have to share, but safely.
In a Social media, you do not physically see the person, you feel secure(in fact you are not, this is more dangerous as you do not know the person)
I checked with adults who engage themselves in chatting with unknown people of the opposite Sex,same-sex.
They are aware that the information will be misused.
The reason they informed me is that they can exchange lewd comments and things which they can not express in the Society openly, put it bluntly they can indulge in Sexual perversions, expressions , not approved by the Society.
There is a detailed Study by PEW Research center, on the behavior of Teens, Social media and Technology.
Excerpts.
Teens Behavior, Social Media
Teens are sharing more information about themselves on social media sites than they have in the past, but they are also taking a variety of technical and non-technical steps to manage the privacy of that information. Despite taking these privacy-protective actions, teen social media users do not express a high level of concern about third-parties (such as businesses or advertisers) accessing their data; just 9% say they are “very” concerned.>>
Teens are sharing more information about themselves on social media sites than they did in the past. For the five different types of personal information that we measured in both 2006 and 2012, each is significantly more likely to be shared by teen social media users in our most recent survey.
Teen Twitter use has grown significantly: 24% of online teens use Twitter, up from 16% in 2011.
The typical (median) teen Facebook user has 300 friends, while the typical teen Twitter user has 79 followers.
Focus group discussions with teens show that they have waning enthusiasm for Facebook, disliking the increasing adult presence, people sharing excessively, and stressful “drama,” but they keep using it because participation is an important part of overall teenage socializing.
60% of teen Facebook users keep their profiles private, and most report high levels of confidence in their ability to manage their settings.
Teens take other steps to shape their reputation, manage their networks, and mask information they don’t want others to know; 74% of teen social media users have deleted people from their network or friends list.
Teen social media users do not express a high level of concern about third-party access to their data; just 9% say they are “very” concerned.
In broad measures of online experience, teens are considerably more likely to report positive experiences than negative ones. For instance, 52% of online teens say they have had an experience online that made them feel good about themselves.
“As the CCTV headquarters nicknamed as Big Underpants plays the role of Yin (negative, female) with large hole under the ‘two pants,’ the People’s Daily new headquarters are the Yang (positive, male),” Hug China states. “The two key mouthpieces of CPC are really perfectly embodying the traditional Yin-Yang concept.”
