    I had blogged earlier on the Sexual harassment of Men by Women and that it never is noticed and even if the complaint is made it is assumed that the Man is lying, so loaded is our Society in these values in favour of women.

    Now interviews of Men on Sexual harassment of Men have become public and some instances are really shocking.

    Had it been levelled by a woman the man would have been either thrashed in Public or booked under Sexual harassment of women and in some cases under NBW!

    The general reason for men not lodging a complaint, apart from facing Social ridicule,is the most important fat that he would not be believed.

    It is often assumed illogically that women do not make sexual advances and that they merely respond.

    Even in marital relationship, some even go to the extent of husband’s advances as ‘attempt to rape’ and in some case men were punished.

    Looks as they women accommodate Sex!

    This anomaly needs to be addressed to.

    Story:

    The Women and Child Development minister,Krishna Tirath, recently announced that the government will conduct a study on “what kind of (sexual) harassment of males is prevalent at workplaces.” This has prompted many to wonder – male sexual harassment – is that really a thing? From Michael Douglas in Disclosure to Akshay Kumar in its Bollywood rip-off Aitraaz – there have been cases of men being victims to sexual harassment in the reel and real-life workplaces in the past. But why is the topic still not taken seriously? That’s probably because though many agree that subjecting men to involuntary groping and touching is certainly not a laughable matter (ask John Travolta’s last masseur and victim!), many are still used to seeing men as the harassers rather than the harassed. However, not only is male sexual harassment ‘a thing’ – it has been legally addressed in countries across the world, and has precedents in several workplaces.

    Legal definition
    The definition of sexual harassment, as per the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is “Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature” at the workplace. See? Completely gender neutral! In fact, in most countries, the definition is applicable to both sexes and falls under two categories for men – female-on-male harassment and male-on-male harassment.

    The first ever reported case of male sexual harassment was in the United States in 1995, when a female supervisor at Dominoes pinched the male manager’s butt. The EEOC sued the outfit and the manager was paid $237,000 in damages.

    However, in India, where the Sexual Harassment at Workplace Bill was passed only in 2012, the provisions were restricted to women and their modesty. Is this because men don’t get molested in Indian workplaces? Nope, because as it turns out, men do get sexually harassed in India… a lot!

    Male harassment in India
    Judging from the findings of a recent Economic Times-Synovate survey, the men need to be incorporated in that bill ASAP. Of the 527 people queried across seven cities – Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune – 19% said they have faced some kind of sexual harassment at office. In Bangalore, 51% of the respondents had been sexually harassed, while in Delhi and Hyderabad, 31% and 28% of those surveyed said they had been sexually harassed. Around 38% of the respondents across 7 cities in India said that in today’s workplaces, “men are as vulnerable to sexual harassment as women.”

    …When it isn’t all about work
    Two 20-something professionals anonymously reveal to DT why going to work became a “horrible” experience after their respective bosses and colleagues took office flirting to a new level, and in one of the cases, refused to back off even when confronted.

    All of this was fine, up until one day she grabbed my butt. I was speechless. She was fishing for compliments and I told her she was hot, so she replied by saying I was pretty hot myself, and grabbed me from behind. I could only smile at her in embarrassment, but somewhere deep inside, I just wanted to slap her. Being brought up in a household that respects women, I didn’t react. I am just looking to out her in front of my other colleagues one day, as I’m sure she will try one of her tricks on me.

    I work at a job consultancy firm and Disha (name changed) has been running this little sham of a place since 2010. I’ve been here since the very beginning; in fact, I was one of the first people to get hired. Disha always leaned towards me as compared to my other colleagues. She would always oversee my mistakes and that made me feel good. I thought it was because I was one of the older people working at the firm.

    Group sex is a common fantasy for men across the world – albeit one most professional men would not mention at work.

     

    But Russian President Vladimir Putin has now openly added his voice to the list of enthusiasts in a discussion with Russian TV.

     

    The macho politician – who relishes being pictured with his top off in the wilderness – made the remarks in his first interview since his inauguration in May.

     

    The 59-year-old told the Kremlin-controlled, English-language RT television channel:

     

    ‘Some fans of group sex say it is better than one-on-one because, as with any collective work, you can skive off

     

    The comments came after the Russian leader had talked about an orgy staged in Moscow’s state biology museum in 2008. That involved 22-year-old Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, one of the three feminist members of Pussy Riot.

     

    They were jailed for two years for hooliganism last month after a politically charged trial.

     

    He declined to comment on the sentence.

     

    But he was happy to talk about the orgy. That was organised by the Voina (war) art collective.

     

    At the time Pussy Riot claimed the orgy was a protest at the appointment of Dmitry Medvedev as Putin’s one-term successor in the Kremlin.

     

    ‘They performed group sex in a public place,’ said the president.

     

    ‘It was, as they say, their affair. People have the right to do what they like as long as it doesn’t break the law,’ Putin said.

     

    ‘But (by doing it) in public, then the authorities should have paid attention to that.’

     

    Some commentators will claim Putin is losing touch. Others will see a confident leader following the street protests that surrounded his election for a third term in spring.

     

    On Wednesday, he made headlines after flying a motorised hang-glider to train captive-bred Siberian cranes to travel from the Arctic to their southern migration grounds.

     

    Footage of the flight shows Putin looking impassive as he swoops through the air in bug-eyed black goggles.

     

    The young cranes can be seen flapping behind his glider.

     

    These tricks have prompted ridicule among liberals.

     

    But they play well with Russians who like the president’s alpha-male image.

     

    In the past he has extinguished a forest fire with a water bomb from a plane, hugged a polar bear and dived to the bottom of Russia’s Lake Baikal in a mini-submarine.

    Excerpts on the issue.

    “Ok and now I’d like to talk about the trial and jailing of Pussy Riot, that punk group band. There’s been much criticism that the sentence handed down was too strong, too much and that the whole case was too big a deal off and that it actually back fired and has brought more people to their cause with the publicity. With hind sight , always a beautiful thing, but with hindsight do you think the case could have been handled differently?
    Putin: You’ve been working in Russia for a while now and maybe know some Russian. Could you please translate the name of the band into Russian?
    RT: Pussy Riot the punk band,I don’t know what you would call them in Russian Sir, but may be you could tell me!
    Putin: Can you translate the first word into Russian? Or maybe it would sound too obscene? Yes, I think you wouldn’t do it because it sounds too obscene, even in English.
    RT: I actually thought it was referring to a cat, but I’m getting your point here. Do you think the case was handled wrongly in any way, could some lesson have been learned?
    Putin: I know you understand it perfectly well, you don’t need to pretend you don’t get it. It’s just because these people made everyone say their band’s name too many times. It’s obscene — but forget it.
    Here’s what I would like to say. I have always felt that punishment should be proportionate to the offence. I am not in a position now and would not like, anyway, to comment on the decision of a Russian court, but I would rather talk about the moral side of the story.
    First, in case you never heard of it, a couple of years ago one of the band’s members put up three effigies in one of Moscow’s big supermarkets, with a sign saying that Jews, gays and migrant workers should be driven out of Moscow. I think the authorities should have looked into their activities back then. After that, they staged an orgy in a public place. Of course, people are allowed to do whatever they want to do, as long as it’s legal, but this kind of conduct in a public place should not go unnoticed by the authorities. Then they uploaded the video of that orgy on the internet. You know some fans of group sex say it’s better than one-on-one because, like in any team, you don’t need to hit the ball all the time.
    Again, it’s okay if you do what you like privately, but I wouldn’t be that certain about uploading your acts on the internet. It could be the subject of legal assessment, too.
    Then they turned up at Yelokhovo Cathedral, here in Moscow, causing unholy mayhem, and went to another cathedral and caused mayhem there, too.
    You know, Russians still have painful memories of the early years of Soviet rule, when thousands of Orthodox, Muslim, as well as clergy of other religions were persecuted. Soviet authorities brutally repressed the clergy. Many churches were destroyed. The attacks had a devastating effect on all our traditional religions. And so in general I think the state has to protect the feelings of believers.
    I will not comment on whether the verdict is well-grounded and the sentence proportionate to the offence. These girls must have lawyers who defend their interests in court. They have the right to file an appeal and demand a new hearing. But it’s up to them, it’s just a legal issue.
    RT: Is it realistic at all they will get some sort of early release?
    Putin: I don’t know whether their lawyers have filed an appeal or not. I don’t follow the case that closely. If they appeal, a higher court is empowered to take any decision. To be honest, I try to stay as far away from the case as possible. I know the details but I do not want to get into it.
    RT: There’s concern here and abroad that Russia has been suffering a clamp down on the opposition since you returned as President. There’s tighter defamation law, upping the fines for defamation, internet censorship laws brought into protect children. All these introduced under your watch. What’s the balance do you think between a healthy opposition and maintaining law and order? what’s your view?
    Putin: So is it true then that other countries don’t have laws that ban child pornography, including online?
    RT: Indeed they do.
    Putin: So they do? Well, we didn’t, until recently. And if we began to protect our society and our children from these offences…

    In the affidavits, one of the ICE employees claimed that in October 2009, while in a discussion about Halloween plans, the individual witnessed Barr turn to a senior ICE employee and say: “You a sexy” (expletive deleted).

    “She then looked at his crotch and asked, ‘How long is it anyway?’” according to the affidavit.

    “Several employees laughed nervously,” the affidavit said. The names of the workers making the claims were redacted.

    The other account recalled a trip to Colombia in late 2009, attended by Morton, Barr and Ray Parmer, who is ICE special agent in charge for Homeland Security Investigations in New Orleans.

    The account said Parmer and Barr were “drinking heavily” at the house of the deputy chief of mission for the U.S. Embassy there. It said Parmer took the BlackBerry of another employee, Peter Vincent, and sent “lewd messages” to Barr.

    The affidavit went on to say: “During this party, Suzanne Barr approached me and offered to” perform oral sex.

  • Why Women Lose Interest in A Long Relationship?

    There are two schools of thought on the subject of ‘waning interest of Women in Sex’.

     

    One states that women and men lose interest as Passionate Sex is replaced by Compassion Sex.

     

    The other school argues that ‘remain perpetually high in order for them to produce many offspring, while female desire should decrease as their attention turns, historically, toward child-rearing.’

     

    These studies seem to assume that the interest of Men and Women decrease in general and more so in a long term relationship.

     

    Men do not lose interest in Sex but it is true that they lose interest with the same partner or in a long-term relationship.

     

    But  women do not admit their interest in Sex remain undiminished save in the circumstances applicable to men.

     

    However, the interest of Both males and Females remain intact or even heightened in new relationships.

     

    The reason is that in Sex mystery and the thrill of exploration heightens the interest.

     

    This is missing in a long Relationship as the thrill, excitement and a sense of exploration is gone.

     

    This is because in a long-term relationship things are taken for granted.

     

    Sex is interesting so long as it is wrapped in mystery and remains seemingly difficult to achieve.

     

    Women , at least in India, tend to neglect this, pay scant attention to their physical attributes and cease to be interesting to men.

     

    In the case of women ,they do get the feeling of being tired and get excited by the prospect of uncharted territory.

     

    The females while taking care of the child, is also interested in producing more offspring in different combinations.

     

    This also applies to Males.

     

    This may sound shocking to some.

     

    But one should not forget that we are animals by definition and Mother Nature wants to propagate Species.

     

    Sexual Health and interest in Sex will be good if one were to treat it as one treat Hunger/ Thirst, as basic instincts.

     

    Only when you attribute values to them it becomes complicated.

     

    Sex in neither sacred nor is it  a Sin.

     

    Take it as it is as one would, avoiding what is bad as one would in Food.

    New research is demonstrating what many people already knew from experience: Women lose interest in sex over time, while men don’t.

    The finding has the potential to help couples, the researchers said. Knowing that many women’s sexual desire diminishes over the course of a relationship could encourage both partners to be more realistic about their sex lives, and could help them weather the changes in desire as they occur.
    Sex researchers Sarah Murray and Robin Milhausen, both of the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, asked 170 undergraduate women and men who had been in heterosexual relationships for anywhere from one month to nine years to report on their levels of relationship satisfaction, sexual satisfaction and sexual desire. Desire was scored using an established model called the Female Sexual Function Index, which ranges from 1.2 to 6.0.
    The participants reported being generally satisfied with their relationships and sex lives, but women reported lower levels of desire depending on the length of their relationship. “Specifically, for each additional month women in this study were in a relationship with their partner, their sexual desire decreased by 0.02 on the Female Sexual Function Index,” the authors wrote online Jan. 23 in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy.
    In fact, relationship duration was a better predictor of sexual desire in women than both relationship and sexual satisfaction. While the 0.02 decrease in female desire was small, it contrasts with male desire, which held steady over time, the researchers said. [6 Scientific Tips for a Happy Relationship]
    Evolution of desire
    Scientists have disagreed on what happens to desire over the course of a relationship. “Some researchers suggest that both men’s and women’s desire would decrease over time as relationships move from passionate love to compassionate love,” said Murray, the lead study author and a doctoral candidate in human sexuality.
    Yet evolutionary theorists predict that male desire should remain perpetually high in order for them to produce many offspring, while female desire should decrease as their attention turns, historically, toward child-rearing.
    The new research points toward the latter theory, although longer-duration studies on different groups of people are still needed, Murray said.
    Men consistently report higher levels of sexual desire than women. Differences in levels of hormones — testosterone, specifically — are believed to at least partially explain the gender divide.
    Hormonal changes that occur as couples move from the passionate early stage to the compassionate later stage into monogamous relationships sometime between six and 30 months may also mediate changes in desire over time. Pharmaceutical companies are currently researching the impact of testosterone on women’s desire, but so far, the results have been inconclusive.
    Hormones are only part of the story, Murray told LiveScience. “Although they are one piece of the sexual desire puzzle, focusing too heavily on hormones can remove the contextual factors that play into desire, such as whether or not a woman is in a satisfying, loving relationship, and if she has time to feel relaxed, playful and sexy,” she said.
    Keeping the spark alive
    The results could help researchers understand why women who seek sex therapy complain of low desire more than any other problem. Differences in levels of desire within couples, known as desire discrepancy, is a growing area of interest for therapists.
    “The concept of an absolute level of ‘normal’ or ‘low’ sexual desire is being replaced by the view that low sexual desire is relative to one’s partner’s level of desire,” Murray said. But although desire discrepancy is known to negatively affect overall sexual and relationship satisfaction, very little else is understood about it, such as whether it contributes significantly to infidelity or breakups.
    The new research could also help couples manage their relationships over time. In an earlier study, Murray found that women who reported more realistic expectations about what sex would be like in a long-term relationship also had higher levels of desire than those with less realistic expectations. “I think that individuals who expect to maintain the high level of excitement and passion that often exists in the first few months of a new relationship are setting up unrealistic expectations about what is to come and will be more disappointed when the desire and passion take on different forms,” she said.

Delighted/outraged Chinese netizens shared elaborate NSFWphotoananalyses and various amusing memes like this Nike spoof and the one to the left that plays on claims the images were photoshopped.

    The buzz grew to the point that the State Council Information Office, China’s head web censor, was forced to issue an official directive that “all websites must stop following and hyping the so-called ‘Lujiang Indecent Photos Incident.’” Currently the phrases “naked photos” and “vulgar photos” are banned from Weibo, which means Chinese netizens will sadly be missing out on Katie Perry‘s epic accidental mooning.

    But don’t take the swift and total crackdown on these photos as an admission of guilt! The Communist party has vigorously denied that these are their guys, even though they do share quite a resemblence, judging from pictures. At first they claimed the images were photoshopped, an old Anthony Weiner classic. But then they backtracked and said the pics were real but the Party officials had been misidentified, according to Offbeat China. Wang himself spoke up to clear his name, saying he was being “slandered,” possibly as payback over a corruption case he was investigating. The official line that emerged is that the photos were taken back in 2007 and feature random swingers. This digital forensics is an interesting role-reversal for the Communist Party, which is usually the one being exposed for Photoshopping.

    Clearly the photos aren’t total fakes, as the third male participant, a poor guy named Wang Yu, has confessed. Wang does have a Communist party connection: He’s the Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League of Hefei University in Anhui. He was tracked down by the famous Chinese internet hordes known as “human flesh search engines,” who band together to identify internet villains, according to theGlobal Times. Now he’s been fired along with his wife, a middle school teacher who was also in the photos.
