  • Evolution Goes Reverse. Study.Evolution Theory Suspect?

The Theory of Evolution propounded by Charles Darwin,I have been arguing through my posts is one of conjectures and not conclusively proven.

I have posted a couple of blogs on this,

One of the pillars of the Theory of Evolution is Dollo’s Law,

” “An organism is unable to return, even partially, to a previous stage already realized in the ranks of itsancestors.”[2] According to this hypothesis a structure or organ that has been lost or discarded through the process of evolution will not reappear in exactly the same form in that line of organisms.[3][4] According to Richard Dawkins, the law is “really just a statement about the statistical improbability of following exactly the same evolutionary trajectory twice (or, indeed, any particular trajectory), in either direction.”[5] Stephen Gould viewed the idea less strictly, suggesting that “irreversibility” forecloses certain evolutionary pathways once broad forms have emerged: “[For example], once you adopt the ordinary body plan of a reptile, hundreds of options are forever closed, and future possibilities must unfold within the limits of inherited design”

But a  Field Study in the field disproves this.

    Reverse Evolution.
    Reverse Evolution.

“In evolutionary biology, the notion of irreversibility is known as Dollo’s Law after the Belgian paleontologist that first hypothesized it in 1893. He stated that once a lineage had lost or modified organs or structures, that they couldn’t turn back the clock and un-evolve those changes. Or, as he put it, “an organism is unable to return, even partially, to a previous stage already realized in the ranks of its ancestors.”

While some animals seem to challenge Dollo’s Law, it has long been a deeply held belief in the field of parasitology. Parasitism is, in general, a process of reduction. Adjusting to survival on or in another animal is a severe evolutionary undertaking, and many parasites lose entire organs or even body systems, becoming entirely dependent on their hosts to perform biological tasks like breaking down food or locomotion. Parasitology textbooks often talk about the irreversibility of becoming a parasite in very finite terms. “Parasites as a whole are worthy examples of the inexorable march of evolution into blind alleys” says Noble & Noble’s 1976 Parasitology: the Biology of Animal ParasitesRobert Poulin is even more direct: “Once they are dependent on the host there is no going back. In other words, early specialisation for a parasitic life commits a lineage forever.”

Now, parasites are proving that not only can they evade immune systems, trick other animals, and use their hosts’ bodies in hundreds of nefarious ways, some can go back to living on their own. This is exactly what scientists now believed happened in the Pyroglyphidae — the dust mites.

Mites, as a whole, are a frighteningly successful if often overlooked group of organisms. More than 48,000 species have been described. These minuscule relatives of spiders can be found worldwide in just about every habitat you can imagine. Many are free-living, but there are also a number of parasitic species, including all-too-familiar pests like Sarcoptes scabieithe mite which causes scabies. Exactly how the different groups of mites are related to each other, however, has been a hot topic of debate amongst mite biologists. Though the closest relatives of dust mites are the Psoroptidia, a large and diverse parasitic group of mites, many have argued that dust mites came from free-living ancestors — ‘living fossils’ of a sort, the only surviving line of ancestral free-living mites that later gave rise to parasites. In fact, Pavel Klimov and Barry O’Connor from the University of Michigan were able to find 62 different hypothesis as to how the free-living the dust mites fit into the mite family tree. Sixty-two, the team decided, was simply too many. So, they turned to the mites’ genes.

To test which of the hypotheses had the most merit, Klimov and O’Conner conscripted a team of 64 biologists in 19 countries to obtain over 700 mite specimens, which they then used to construct a mite family tree. They sequenced five nuclear genes from each species, then applied statistical analyses to construct a tree of relationships called a phylogeny. And that’s when they saw it: deeply nested inside a large group of parasites were our everyday, non-parasitic, allergy-causing dust mites.”While this isn’t the first time that Dollo’s Law has been questioned, it’s the first strong evidence that parasitism might not be the evolutionary “blind alley” we tend to describe it as. The more scientists use genetics to study the evolutionary relationships between organisms, the more they find that Dollo’s Law is less law-like than once thought, broadening our understanding of evolution as a whole and challenging our assumptions about how it works. Which is, really, the brilliance and beauty of science — like life on this Earth, our understanding of the universe is constantly adapting and evolving.

  • ‘Evolution’ Darwin Theory Proof-Partially Right.HD Video

Darwin’s Theory on the Evolution of Species is questionable.

1.All known Species have not been verified and this is technically incorrect. This is not the mistake of Darwin alone.

It is the failing of Science as well, taking a ‘inductive Leap’

2.If nature is attempting to perfect, considering the age of nature, nature seems to be inefficient as we are yet to see a perfect Species.

3.If we extend the Logic, what happens once the ‘perfection is reached?

4.Yes, Christianity is incorrect for th reasons specified in the article.

5.Indian Philosophy has a different approach.Perfection has different grades/levels.Once a level is reached another Species evolves.

6.As to the issue of nature being teleological,Perfection need not be Ideal-it is our conception.

    Story:

Inspired by the book by Richard Dawkins, I took his reading from a passage of his book as the basis for this experimental short film. During the formation of the theory of ‘evolution’, Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace had noticed that the supposed perfection of nature as represented by the Christian ideal was in fact inaccurate. Species of animals and plants had not been created to fulfil a specific role, they did not live in harmony as if in an idealistic garden. Instead, all life was locked in a furious battle to complete for limited resources in harsh environments, and this competition gave opportunity for mutation to form adaptation and change. Richard’s book helps explain just how far the science and specifically our understanding of evolutionary biology has come in the 153 years since the publication of Darwin’s ‘On the Origin of Species’. For this film, I shot footage from an idealistic garden with the words highlighting the deeper nature of the biology.

  • Atheists have a right to preach.

    Pope benedict XVI

The fundamental principle of a religion should be that one has the Right to practice what he believes in.Just as any other stream of thought, Atheism is a thought. They have a Right to their opinions.

    None can deny them that.

    Let us look at History.

Christianity since the day of its birth went after people  to convert, calling those who do not believe in Christ to be heathens.

We know of Crusades, also of the   treatment  of  Protestants in the hands of Catholics ( and vice versa),also of Bloody Mary and the ways of the Popes. Not only that- Christians went about proselytization on a grand scale ,by Britain through out the world.

Freedom of Thought is something of an anathema to Christianity,be it religion,or science(Galileo  was forced to recant while being kept in custody).

Now Christians moan the assault of Atheism

Truth does not need the cruthces of propaganda.

Extend the courtesy  of  Freedom of  Thought to others.

    Story:

For a country that prides itself on religious tolerance, this has been a shaming week.

Thanks to the BBC and a noisy cabal of self-important atheists and Catholic-haters, we have been subjected to wall-to-wall attacks on the Pope and his Church.

Leading this vicious anti-Christian charge were Stephen Fry – who seems to get smugger by the day – and Richard Dawkins, who described Pope Benedict XVI as a ‘leering old villain in a frock . . . whose preaching is responsible for the deaths of countless Aids victims in Africa.’

“Even in our own lifetime, we can recall how Britain and her leaders stood against a Nazi tyranny that wished to eradicate God from society and denied our common humanity to many, especially the Jews, who were thought unfit to live. I also recall the regime’s attitude to Christian pastors and religious who spoke the truth in love, opposed the Nazis and paid for that opposition with their lives. As we reflect on the sobering lessons of the atheist extremism of the twentieth century, let us never forget how the exclusion of God, religion and virtue from public life leads ultimately to a truncated vision of man and of society and thus to a “reductive vision of the person and his destiny” (Caritas in Veritate, 29).”

    Dawkins responds:

Even if Hitler had been an atheist, his political philosophy was not based upon atheism and had no connection with atheism. Hitler was arguably (and by his own account) a Roman Catholic. In any case he enjoyed the open support of many of the most senior catholic clergy in Germany and the less demonstrative support of Pope Pius XII. Even if Hitler had been an atheist (he certainly was not), the rank and file Germans who carried out the attempted extermination of the Jews were Christians, almost to a man: either Catholic or Lutheran, primed to their anti-Semitism by centuries of Catholic propaganda about ‘Christ-killers’ and by Martin Luther’s own seething hatred of the Jews. To mention Ratzinger’s membership of the Hitler Youth might be thought to be fighting dirty, but my feeling is that the gloves are off after this disgraceful paragraph by the pope.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue reacts to the way British atheists are handling Pope Benedict XVI’s trip to their homeland:

The pope cited Hitler today, asking everyone to “reflect on the sobering lessons of atheist extremism of the 20th century.” Immediately, the British Humanist Association got its back up, accusing the pope of “a terrible libel against those who do not believe in God.”

The pope did not go far enough. Radical atheists like the British Humanist Association should apologize for Hitler. But they should not stop there. They also need to issue an apology for the 67 million innocent men, women and children murdered under Stalin, and the 77 million innocent Chinese killed by Mao. Hitler, Stalin and Mao were all driven by a radical atheism, a militant and fundamentally dogmatic brand of secular extremism. It was this anti-religious impulse that allowed them to become mass murderers. By contrast, a grand total of 1,394 were killed during the 250 years of the Inquisition, most all of whom were murdered by secular authorities.

Why should atheists today apologize for the crimes of others? At one level, it makes no sense: apologies should only be given by the guilty. But on the other hand, since the fanatically anti-Catholic secularists in Britain, and elsewhere, demand that the pope—who is entirely innocent of any misconduct—apologize for the sins of others, let the atheists take some of their own medicine and start apologizing for all the crimes committed in their name. It might prove alembic.

By the way.did not the Catholic Church( read Pope) keep quiet during Holocaust, on the mistaken notion that it was alright that Jews were gotten rid by Hitler?

What was the relationship of  the Papacy with Mussolini?

  • GOD PARTICLE.

‘The great quantum physicist Niels Bohr once said a colleague’s new theory was crazy, but perhaps not crazy enough to be correct. Two scientists seem to have taken that approach to heart when they speculated that God may have shut down the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva to keep it from discovering the elusive “God particle.”’

    Comments.
Even based on Theory of Relativity, if one has to observe particles traveling at a higher velocity than the velocity of light the plane of the observer changes;else he can not notice the change. He has to change his plane. This is also borne out of Quantum theory which postulates simultaneous existence of multi verses , which means an event that we see/perceive is happening Right now and also has happened and shall happen in the future(with reference to our time Frame).
As such any attempt to observe velocities of particles at speeds which we are not equipped to observe because of our limitations of Space and time, either the experiment shall not fructify or we can not understand the results.First stated has now happened.
This has been explained in Hindu philosophy in detail( Please refer my Blog on Time -Non -Linear theory).
