Decide for yourself whether this movie is justified.
Not a single word of condemnation of this movie from the West ,Obama downwards, while every one is screaming murder.
What about the agent provocateur?
Story:
Hundreds of protesters marched to the fortresslike embassy in downtown Cairo, gathering outside its walls and chanting slogans against the movie, whose origins are mysterious but which was reportedly produced in the United States.
“Say it, don’t fear: Their ambassador must leave,” the crowd chanted.
Dozens of protesters then scaled the walls of the embassy building, went into its courtyard and took down the flag from a pole. They brought it back to the crowd outside, which tried to burn it, but failing that, tore it apart. The protesters raised a black flag with a Muslim declaration of faith on it: “There is no god but God, and Muhammad is his prophet.” The flag, similar to Al Qaeda’s banner, is popular with ultraconservatives around the region.
Nearly all the embassy staff members had left the compound before the protest, and the ambassador was out of town.
The protest was a result of outrage over a movie being promoted by an anti-MuslimEgyptian Christian campaigner in the United States, clips of which are available on YouTube and dubbed in Egyptian Arabic. The video depicts Muhammad as a fraud, and shows him having sex and calling for massacres. Muslims find it offensive to depict Muhammad at all, much less in an insulting way.
It regrettable that, under the guise of Creativity people resort to insulting the Religions of the World..
Let’s for argument’s sake agree that The Prophet was as claimed in the Video, in what way does it affect his Good teachings?
( I have some reservations about some of the paragraphs in the Koran, where it is explicit on exterminating the ‘kafirs’, ‘the non believers’.Some of the instances seem to be simply legends)
But this does not give any one the right to insult a Man (hope some one does not start attacking for calling as ‘Man’), knowing well that this information shall spark riots.
And what does this ‘expose; will do?
People are going to abandon Islam because of this film?
I can hear the so-called Liberals and the Creators arguing that the Truth must be told and it is worth intrinsically.
Look at the response of the producer and the man who dubbed it an Arabic.
Can they honestly declare it is only the Truth they are after?
There was an uproar when the Da Vinci code was released for hinting that Jesus had married Mary Magdalene and that they ahd an offspring.
Religion is a matter of faith.
Leave people be to their own views.
By trying to seek proof that Islam encourages Extremism and terrorism from The Koran is never going to stop terrorists or the believers.
The best one could do is to present facts without annotation.
Story:
A 14-minute trailer of the movie that sparked the protests, posted on the website YouTube in an original English version and another dubbed into Egyptian Arabic, depicts Muhammad as a fraud, a womanizer and a madman in an overtly ridiculing way, showing him having sex and calling for massacres.
A YouTube spokesman said the website would not take down the video at this point. The spokesman said the website’s policy is to remove videos that include a threat of violence, but not those only expressing opinions.
“We take great care when we enforce our policies and try to allow as much content as possible while ensuring that our Community Guidelines are followed,” the YouTube representative said. “Flagged content that does not violate our Guidelines will remain on the site.”
Sam Bacile, an American citizen who said he produced, directed and wrote the two-hour film, said he had not anticipated such a furious reaction.
“I feel sorry for the embassy. I am mad,” Bacile said.
Speaking from a telephone with a California number, Bacilesaid he is Jewish and familiar with the region. Bacile said the film was produced in English and he doesn’t know who dubbed it in Arabic. The full film has not been shown yet, he said, and he said he has declined distribution offers for now.
“My plan is to make a series of 200 hours” about the same subject, he said.
Morris Sadek, an Egyptian-born Christian in the U.S. known for his anti-Islam views, told The Associated Press from Washington that he was promoting the video on his website and on certain TV stations, which he did not identify.
Above was the the Title of the Head Line published’ in Yahoo news‘ that was delivered to my IN Box and it was changed into
“Penn Judge Tosses Case in Which Muslim Was Accused of Attacking Atheist”
May be the writer felt that the original title was inappropriate and changed into the more acceptable current Head Line.
The Judge’s Observation seems to be correct.
While I hold no brief for terrorism, be it in any form, the insult of a Religion by a Group or an individual is to be condemned.
If you do not agree with their views keep it to your self.
You have no Right to denigrate other’s Religion or for that matter other’s ideas.
You must counter them ,if warranted, by ideas and arguments and not by this senseless and irresponsible behaviour which hurts others.
Of course one can not expect any better behaviour from a Group which believes in Nihilism.
One has the right to believe in what one thinks as to be Right.
Any way belief in Islam or any Faith is better than being unruly, anarchic and a Belief which has no Rational Basis, where one can not define the instrument one calls mind and where one closes one’s mind to the wonders and the complexity of Nature and yet believes that every thing is a Chance!
Yet to attack one for his views in barbaric and it does not reflect great on the Religion.
Their Religion or that part that deals with proselytization, must be interpreted to suit Rationality. One should remember that any Religion has its Metaphysical aspect and Social aspect.
The latter can be modified keeping the Metaphysical aspect intact.
“There is a surprising story out of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania that seems the perfect storm of religious tensions. You begin with Ernie Perce, an atheist who marched as a zombie Mohammad in the Mechanicsburg Halloween parade. Then you add Talaag Elbayomy, a Muslim who stepped off a curb and reportedly attacked Perce for insulting the Prophet. Then you have a judge (Judge Mark Martin) who threw out the criminal charges against Elbayomy and ridiculed the victim, Perce. The Judge identifies himself as a Muslim and says that Perce conduct is not what the First Amendment is supposed to protect. [UPDATE: The judge says he is not a Muslim despite what is heard by most listeners on the tape. That being the case, the criticism of the comments remains.] [UPDATE2: Perce has responded to our blog and denied many of the factual representations made by Judge Martin].”

Here is part of the hearing transcript:
Well, having had the benefit of having spent over two-and-a-half years in predominantly Muslim countries, I think I know a little bit about the faith of Islam. In fact, I have a copy of the Quran here, and I would challenge you, Sir, to show me where it says in the Quran that Muhammad arose and walked among the dead. I think you misinterpreted a couple of things. So before you start mocking somebody else’s religion, you might want to find out a little more about it. It kind of makes you look like a doofus. …
In many other Muslim-speaking countries, err, excuse me, many Arabic-speaking countries, predominantly Muslim, something like this is definitely against the law there, in their society. In fact, it could be punished by death, and frequently is, in their society.
Here in our society, we have a Constitution that gives us many rights, specifically First Amendment rights. It’s unfortunate that some people use the First Amendment to deliberately provoke others. I don’t think that’s what our forefathers intended. I think our forefathers intended to use the First Amendment so we can speak with our mind, not to piss off other people and cultures – which is what you did.

I’ve spent about seven years living in other countries. When we go to other countries, it’s not uncommon for people to refer to us as ‘ugly Americans.’ This is why we hear it referred to as ‘ugly Americans,’ because we’re so concerned about our own rights, we don’t care about other people’s rights. As long as we get our say, but we don’t care about the other people’s say.
Following is the Tweet that is a raging controversy and the tweeter and those who agreed with him are likely to be prosecuted.
I see no reason to be upset.
Seems to be a straight forward normal question you ask of your Maker.
Compare this with the approach of the Hindu devotees who even go to the extent of kicking God(Bhrigu to Vishnu)!
I have loved things about you and I have hated things about you and there is a lot I don’t understand about you,”
“I will not pray for you.” Hamza tweeted.
This is the controversial tweet posted by Hamza Kashgari, a 23-year-old Saudi blogger, which sparked outrage in last week with comments posted on the Prophet’s birthday a week ago.
Kuala Lumpur: A 23-year-old Saudi journalist, who had allegedly made blasphemous remarks on Twitter was deported from Malaysia on Sunday, despite pleas from rights groups that he may be executed in his home country.
That his terror links to Lashkar-e-Taiba has been proved, but not for Mumbai attacks?
That L e T is also responsible for the terrorist attack is known to US and it has notified L e T as a Terrorist out fit is of no consequence?
In a mass murder , proof of one murder is enough?
Is that the logic?
I feel that the Juries verdict might have been influenced by The White House, which, though expressing disappointment about Rana not being found guilty for Mumbai attacks, will be greatly relieved because of the nature of US’s relations with Pakistan and the fall out that will follow if Rana has been indicted for 26/11 attack as well.
That the Jury can not be pressurized is for the kids.

Mr. Headley’s testimony made headlines around the world when he accused not just Mr. Rana but also Pakistani intelligence officers of helping to support the Mumbai attacks. The accusations threatened to exacerbate tensions among the United States, Pakistan and India, especially after American Special Forces discovered Osama bin Laden hiding out in a Pakistani military town.
