Watching porn can certainly have a negative effect on your sex life. According to a survey of the NoFap community, a group of people who are attempting to quit masturbating to online pornography, 49 percent of the self-titled “Fapstronauts” have never had sex with another person. Additionally, 59 percent say they watched porn between four and 15 hours a week before swearing it off.
In an effort to call attention to the problem, ProjectKnow.com, a resource site for learning about addictions of all types, has taken the raw data from an April, 2012, “Fapstronaut” survey and produced the info-graphic below.
The software does not the entire site, block the URLs that contain porn.
One may submit sites that need to be blocked.

Like Norton and McAfee, we have been labeling domains and sub-domains to protect kids from unsuitable and harmful content. Our competitors focus on dozens of categories – such as religion, gambling, violence etc.. At MetaCert, we focus on doing one thing very well. We focus all our attention on labeling sites that contain ‘sexually explicit content’ and as a result, we provide much better solutions for this type of content blocking – for both enterprise and consumers. I don’t mind being bullish with my assertion as they’re both multi-billion dollar companies and MetaCert is a new startup based in San Francisco.
We’re not happy with being the best however. We want to be as good as we can be. So with this in mind, we have pushed our technology to the next level by becoming the very first company worldwide, to label folders, URLs and search strings. This means that we can now protect kids from pornography across websites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social networks and sites that contain user generated content, without having to block the entire site.
While we have scaled our crawling and classification platform to label more domains and sub-domains than any other company in the world, we are now hard at work looking for the scalable solution for labeling URLs.
The footage recorded by security cameras in Metro trains and stations can only be accessed by DMRC officials and CISF personnel, who look after the security. CISF and DMRC control the database into which this CCTV footage goes, and so the leak most likely has happened at its end.
The Censor ship is so strict that the authorities in China are not satisfied with automatic filters to detect Porn, but require a Chief Porn Identification Officer, Full time.
Requirements:
1) Must be familiar with the standard of adult content from around the world
2) Must be familiar with China’s law standards regarding adult content, familiar with documented regulations
3) Must be familiar with the standards for adult content on China’s internet and it’s service providers
4) Regardless of gender, must be college graduate from 25-35 years old
5) Must have a strong sense of responsibility and work well in a team
Read it, learn it, love it: the Chinese want to pay someone $32k a year to surf for porn on the internet and have the greatest job title in the history of labor. Even better are the benefits, which include full insurance, communication expenses, daily fruit and yogurt, and bonuses on birthdays and weddings. That last one immediately poses the question of who could possibly have time for love with all that porn to be surfed? Regardless, interest in the job post has been…severe.
The security company who put this job advert out, Anquan Lianmeng (League of Security) said that they received thousands of applications within two days of posting. Many of which had come in from outside of the country. It’s no surprise considering the description.

‘First of all, what exactly happened between you and your ex-girlfriend?
What happened was, and I regret it now, I sent pics of her to a couple of friends, and they kind of sent them around. They didn’t really get posted on too many websites, at first it was mostly via email. Then to get back at me, my ex and her friends posted my pictures on several of those revenge porn sites. They also made a webpage.
Did you do anything when your friends started to post the pictures of your girlfriend online?
I didn’t think they were gonna get spread around the way they did. It’s still my fault, but I didn’t intend to do what ended up happening. Once my friends started sharing them, it was pretty much too late at that point.
So you just let it happen?
Yeah, she was obviously very upset and I wasn’t very nice to her back then. I just pretty much ignored her.
Why’d you ignore her then?
We had kind of a bad break-up; I caught her cheating on me, so that was kind of where I was at.
I thought you cheated on her?
Yeah, I know she says I cheated on her, so it’s kind of a he said/she said type thing….
